Several missiles slammed into the streets, causing a series of explosions.

Bystanders, unaware of the situation, screamed and fled, turning the once bustling downtown into a scene of apocalypse.

Bumblebee dodged the first wave of bombing, drifted around a street corner, and instantly transformed to retaliate.

On the other side, Optimus Prime led the charge, taking Ironhide, Jazz, and the new Men in Black Agent at full speed towards the Empire State Building, where the allspark was located.

But they were immediately met with Decepticon resistance.

At a crossroads, a scorpion-like Decepticon (Scorponok) burst from the ground, blocking the Autobots' path.

Police cars (Barricade) and tanks (Brawl) drove in from both sides.

In the sky, Starscream, transformed into an F-22 fighter jet, circled at an incredible angle, ready to strike Optimus Prime and his group on the ground.

The battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons officially began.

As the saying goes... when gods fight, mortals suffer.

Facing these monstrous machines with steel shells, innocent bystanders could only scream for help and flee in all directions.

There were also a few brave ones, excitedly watching the robot war.

Were they brave?

No, no, no, there was only one reason they dared to stand there: Superman.

They believed Superman would soon arrive to deal with these 'unruly' giants, which was why they were so fearless.

"Look! They're fighting! Damn it... are these robots new weapons made by the Military?"

"Are you crazy or is the Military crazy? How could weapons made by the Military appear in the city? They must be aliens! Aliens invading Earth!"

"Heh heh, a few alien robots dare to run wild on Earth. Don't these idiots know Earth has Superman? Just wait for Superman to tear them apart!"

"Superman! Superman! Superman!"

The 'brave' ones shouted Superman's name, but they didn't get Superman; they summoned the Decepticons' artillery fire instead.

Boom—!

A huge explosion sounded, and these people were swallowed by golden electric light in the blink of an eye... on top of the Empire State Building.

Observing the tragic state of the battlefield through the 'Chip', Natasha frowned, looked at Lin Luo, and asked:

"Master, the enemy is slaughtering innocents. Does your plan include this part as well?"

Lin Luo said expressionlessly: "To understand the truth, sacrifices must be made."

Honestly, this could also be considered a form of natural selection.

When faced with danger, the first thought isn't to escape or fight back, but to overly rely on the salvation of other aliens.

Creatures without a sense of danger are often the first to go extinct.

Over these years, humans have indeed been 'spoiled' too much by Superman.

Natasha said nothing.

She was an Agent and had witnessed many dark things.

For the greater good, sacrificing some civilians, or even sacrificing comrades who fought alongside him, Nick Fury had not shied away from such methods.

She understood this, but she couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, and her impression of Lin Luo as a Master gradually declined.

"Sigh..." Catwoman said, unable to comprehend: "I wasn't thinking of relying on Superman to solve the problem, but in this situation, Superman will definitely come to fix the trouble, right? Then your plan, Master..."

If Superman flew in to solve everything, wouldn't the plan be for naught?

Instead, it would deepen humanity's reliance on Superman and make them disregard other aliens even more.

Lin Luo shook his head and said: "Don't worry, Superman won't get involved in this matter."

"What?" Natasha asked in surprise: "Why? How do you know?"

Lin Luo didn't speak, he just raised his hand and pointed upwards.

The two women looked up, following the direction Lin Luo pointed.

The moment they saw the target, their pupils dilated.

A man in a blue bodysuit, with a red cape on his back and a diamond 'S' on his chest, slowly descended beside Lin Luo.

"A meeting after twenty years, Lin, my best friend..."

...Battlefield.

The veteran Men in Black were slacking off in the back, while the new Agents cooperated with the Autobots to fight the Decepticons.

The power of the ordinary cricket was far less than the plus version used by the Master; the strong recoil, in fact, caused him to suffer repeated setbacks.

On the Decepticon side, the death of 'Surfboard' provided them with the weapon data of the cricket, making them extra careful about the Men in Black's attacks during battle.

Due to Megatron's arrival, the situation became increasingly tense.

Whoosh—!

A fiery meteor flew from high in the sky, rushing towards Starscream, who was circling mid-air.

Starscream didn't expect anyone to attack him in the air at this moment; his entire fuselage was knocked flying, and his nosecone was embedded in a nearby building.

He transformed in anger, grabbing the wall with one hand, and looked back to find his attacker.

A small mech stopped in front of him.

"An alien robot that can transform? Interesting... I must get a sample of you for research."

The mech emitted a surprised human voice, then decisively swooped down, firing a palm pulse cannon at the Decepticon.

Why could he accurately identify who the bad guys were?

A careful look at the situation would reveal: one side fought cautiously, occasionally blocking cannon fire to save people.

The other side attacked frantically, completely disregarding that this was a city.

"Jarvis, analyze the material and weapon configuration of these transforming machines, and give me the optimal attack plan," Tony Stark said.

"Analyzing... analysis complete..." Jarvis replied: "Sir, given the strength of their outer shell, I recommend you use high-temperature armor-piercing rounds or maximum power energy cannons."

"Uh..." Tony Stark dodged Barricade's attack and gave a dry laugh: "Can I get some more useful information?"

Maximum power energy cannons could only be fired a few times before he'd have to go back and replace the miniature arc reactor.

He didn't have armor-piercing rounds equipped, only two miniature missiles.

Jarvis responded: "Their body structure is similar to humans. You could try to ram their heads."

"???"

Tony Stark was bewildered, sighing helplessly.

"Looks like I'll have to build some other models of armor, specifically for dealing with this kind of emergency."

"Oh, and the energy problem..."

He was muttering to himself when, the next second, Megatron punched him flying.

"Starscream, tear apart that human insect in the iron shell!" Megatron roared, giving the order.

"Yes, my Master."

Starscream replied respectfully, then decisively flew in the direction Iron Man had been sent.

"Hmm?"

Megatron was about to continue his entanglement with Optimus Prime when he suddenly paused, as if sensing something, and looked back at the Empire State Building.

The allspark was calling him; he couldn't waste any more time.

A corner of the battlefield.

Jean Grey lay on the ground, glancing at the small cricket in her hand.

Gritting her teeth, she put it in her pocket, her eyes glowing red, and red light radiating around her body as she suddenly floated into the air.

She raised her hand, reaching out to grab the tank Brawl from a distance.

An invisible telekinetic force locked onto Brawl's fuselage, preventing it from moving an inch.

Veins bulged on Jean Grey's forehead as she made a tearing motion with her hand, ripping off one of Brawl's mechanical arms.

After doing this, the red light on her body disappeared, and she slowly floated back to the ground.

She had wanted to tear the enemy apart directly, but she was too afraid of the terrifying power within her, coupled with the seal set by Charles, which prevented her from using it too much.

"Wow."

The Autobots and the new Agents were amazed by this move.

Everyone took this as a breakthrough and launched a full-scale assault... Empire State Building, rooftop.

Why did Superman say Lin Luo was his best friend?

Before his slumber, Lin Luo had been classmates with Superman for a period of time.

Superman, Clark Kent, during his school days, similar to Peter Parker, suffered a lot of bullying.

Lin Luo transferred schools and helped him resolve the bullying situation; this was the beginning of their friendship.

Afterward, he pretended to discover Clark Kent's superpowers, becoming the first outsider to know that Clark Kent was an alien.

Then, he helped Clark Kent train various superpowers, allowing him to learn to fly earlier than in the original story.

Having gone through these experiences, the two forged a deep friendship.

Finally, Lin Luo saved Clark Kent's father from a storm, elevating their friendship to a brotherly level.

It's worth mentioning... Clark Kent's adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, joined the Men in Black and is now a senior Agent.

Of course, deep friendship wasn't the sole reason for Superman's cooperation.

Superman chose to cooperate because he recognized Lin Luo's purpose in implementing the second phase.

This World was far from something one Superman could protect.

As for those 'sacrificed' bystanders... sometimes, what you see isn't necessarily true.

"So many years have passed, and you haven't changed a bit," Superman said in a joking tone.

"Age means nothing to me. Tell me about you," Lin Luo teased: "How are things progressing with that reporter lady? When are you going to produce a grand-nephew?"

When his beloved was mentioned, Superman's handsome face was full of happiness as he replied: "If nothing unexpected happens, we'll get married at the end of this year."

Lin Luo smiled, "Alright, I didn't expect the pure-hearted big boy from back then to get married so quickly."

The more one says 'nothing unexpected', the more unexpected things happen.

If Superman knew that, according to the normal timeline, he would face death... what would he think?

Behind them.

Watching the Master and Superman chatting idly, Natasha and Catwoman stood in the wind, bewildered.

Were they that close?

Moreover, Superman seemed to know the Master's identity.

Given Superman's personality, no matter what, he couldn't possibly stand by and do nothing, could he?

The situation became even more confusing... Natasha and Catwoman simultaneously scratched their heads in confusion.

Whoosh—!

With a roar, a fighter jet burst from the battlefield, heading straight for the top floor of the Empire State Building.

Megatron flew in front of everyone, quickly switched forms, picked up a large energy cannon, and aimed it at Lin Luo, who had one hand on the allspark.

"Hand over the allspark, and I can spare your life."

Hearing this, Superman smiled and took half a step back.

Catwoman: "???"

Natasha: "???"

Seeing this scene, the two women almost couldn't help but swear.

Holy crab, you're Superman! Is taking half a step back serious?

Lin Luo looked directly at Megatron, his expression unchanged, and said: "The allspark can be yours, but first, stop the war and listen to a few words from me."

Megatron glanced at Superman behind him, snorted, and turned towards the battlefield.

"Decepticons, cease attack, stand by and be vigilant."

Clearly, he had learned about Superman's power through the internet; otherwise, with his personality, it would be difficult for him to obey so readily.

The Decepticons stopped attacking, and the Autobots also ceased fighting under Optimus Prime's command.

"Say what you have to say quickly; my patience is limited," Megatron said, looking down at Lin Luo from above.

Lin Luo didn't care, and calmly said: "I know you. You are Megatron, the leader of the Cybertronian Decepticons, and a disciple of the Fallen, one of the Thirteen Primes."

"Your entire life has been spent fighting for Cybertron; everything you've done has been for Cybertron's future."

These two sentences really resonated with Megatron.

Megatron felt a surge of satisfaction.

Listen, Optimus Prime, an outsider sees things more clearly than you. Why can't you understand my painstaking efforts!

On the surface, he still maintained a murderous expression.

He impatiently said: "Stop with this useless nonsense! What exactly do you want to say!"

"Alright, the nonsense is over." Lin Luo agreed with him; all that came before was indeed nonsense.

Megatron: "???"

Lin Luo continued: "Actually, your Master lied to you. He wants to blow up the Sun of the solar system, not for Cybertron. In reality, he betrayed Cybertron long ago."

"What did you say! How dare you slander the great Fallen!" Megatron angrily raised his large cannon.

"I know you're in a hurry, but don't be, let me finish," Lin Luo waved his hand.

Megatron's cannon followed, moving to the side uncontrollably.

"The story has to start before Cybertron was born," Lin Luo continued: "Cybertron's predecessor was named Primus. He represented the positive energy of the Universe, and his opposite was Unicron, the embodiment of the Universe's negative energy."

"The two progenitors were born as mortal enemies. After a great battle, both were severely wounded."

"Primus was sealed on a barren Planet, which is your Cybertron, and Unicron's seal is beneath our feet."

"By using the Matrix of Leadership to detonate the Sun of the solar system, Unicron can gain the energy for rebirth."

"Guess what Unicron, as a mortal enemy, would do first upon his revival?"

Megatron wasn't an idiot.

If what Lin Luo said was true, the first thing Unicron would do upon revival would certainly be to destroy Cybertron.

However, why should he believe an Earthling's words and not his teacher?

"What you say sounds plausible, but why should I believe you?" Megatron demanded.

Lin Luo smiled, playing with the allspark, and said: "Probably... because of strength? If you don't believe me, you can try starting a war again."

Megatron froze in place.

He suddenly felt a dangerous aura from this human in front of him.

But who was he? Megatron!

He would never surrender to an Earthling insect.

"Decepticons, attack!" Megatron shouted, reaching for the allspark in Lin Luo's hand.

Boom—!

Superman moved instantly, slamming Megatron down with one hand.

"Sigh, why bother," Lin Luo sighed, opened his communication system, and ordered: "Take them out."

"Yes, Master."

Upon receiving the order, the veteran Men in Black immediately took action, pulling out atomic energy guns from their holsters, aiming at all the Decepticons on the field, and pulling the trigger.

Bang... Bang... Bang... A round of precise headshots, and the Decepticons, who had been wreaking havoc just half a minute ago, instantly turned into particles of light.

Even Starscream didn't last a single exchange...
