{Morningstar Castle 200 years ago}
A newborn baby wails as two figures stand outside a room, their faces both filled with joy yet also concern, while hearing the pained groans of their wife/mother. "Mom will be ok, right, Dad? I know she's had a hard time with this pregnancy." A tall and slender woman with pale pink skin and long blonde hair with honey streaks says, looking down at her shorter father, who gazes up at his daughter and nods.
"Evelyn, she will be ok….Your mother's a tough woman, tougher than anything in hell." Evelyn smiles, her purple eyes closing in relief as she sighs before tucking one of her bangs behind her ear and turning to gaze with expectation when hearing the door open as Belphégor walks out and says with a sleepy yet relieved tone of voice.
"The queen has delivered a healthy baby girl, your majesties…..though she seems very much louder than Princess Evelyn was back then as a babe." Suddenly realizing how their words came out, the sin of sloth for the first time in millennia seems wide awake as they apologize, knowing the pain that was felt when they believed the first princess to be dead.
"I'm sorry, Lucifer, I didn't mean it like that, you know how tired I get." Lucifer merely claps the overworked and tired sin before dismissing her as they walk into the birthing chambers, seeing a tired yet beautiful woman who seems like an identical replica of Evelyn holding a now merely giggling infant, big doll-like red eyes darting around in wonder before seeming confused at seeing Evelyn then looking at their mother and back getting more confused with each look as the family laughs knowing the confusion that's bound to happen as their newest member grows up.
"Lucifer, Evelyn, come meet hell's newest princess….I named her Charlie! Isn't she adorable!" The two named look at the newborn with excitement as Evelyn, when spotting the looks.s of Charlie, then at their dad, laughs, catching everyone's attention.
"Well, at least dad finally has a mini him like mom had with me. She's a carbon copy of Dad, just female." Evelyn's words make the royal couple realize that, yes, their newest addition is a replica of Lucifer.
Lilith smiles and starts speaking. "Well, now we know Lucifer's genes do in fact have a chance to show, though I wouldn't mind if my little princess also looked like me."
Suddenly, Charlie starts kicking, and her foot manages to get out of its swaddle, revealing cute little hoofs instead of the human feet Lilith and Evelyn have as they both look at Lucifer, who whistles while looking away, sweating knowing he's responsible.
"Lucifer, what did we agree on about shapeshifting in bed?" Lilith deadpans while Evelyn also gives a weird look before realizing what her mom said out loud as she gags, having tried to avoid thinking of her parents' sex life despite being a grown adult.
"Mom, talk about that later, please. I don't need to know about your and Dad's bedroom activities." The two laugh at their eldest's words as the whole room radiates cheer and joy.
Finally done laughing, Lucifer gazes at his happy family, a vision he never thought he'd have after falling from heaven, yet now he wouldn't trade it for the world as he recalls how he felt when first meeting Lilith and then holding Evelyn, his eldest, for the first time that moment truly made him realise if he never fell hed know the happiest of a real family. "Lilith….Let's announce the birth of Charlie to all of hell. Let them know that our family has grown and that we still stand strong even thousands of years later." Lilith grins at the words. Her and Lucifer's relationship has grown stronger since he overcame his depression and actively started ruling hell, getting the sinners and hellborn alike in line, as even Mammon the greedy spider knows Lucifer won't be easily swayed on anything.
Evelyn watches silently while inwardly her thoughts race. (Dad is so different then the show….then again, Charlie didn't have an older sister, so who knows if this even is the canon universe. But dammit, I know my parents called me the devil's child, but didn't expect to literally be reborn as it in my next life.) Unaware of their eldest racing thought's the royal couple begin to plan a banquet to announce their newest royal to hell and its subjects.
{A few days later at Morningstar Castle}
As servants rush around to finish decorating the ballroom while in the royal family wing of the castle, a rather chaotic scene takes place. "Oh, Charlie, my light don't kick me with your hoofs, darling." Lilith, wearing a rather elegant yet sensual black dress with silver diamonds on the bodice, says as she tries to get her youngest in a dress.
Meanwhile, her eldest daughter stands and does her hair, having decided to curl it around her horns in a crown style while adjusting her gloves and jewelry. Seeing the hard time her mother is having in her vanity mirror Evelyn takes pity on her mother and walks over taking charlie who seems confused as she looks between the identical looking woman just with different styled hair and dresses as Evelyn manages to get both the dress and specially made shoes on the now less squirming infant who tries to tug at the sliver pendant hanging down from her sisters necklace.
Lilith looks relieved, as she also seems slightly jealous of how less of a hellion Charlie acts in her older sister's arms compared to hers. "Evelyn, my dear flower, how do you do it? I can never get her that obedient." Evelyn looks at her mother and just shakes her head before motioning to how Charlie seems entranced with her jewelry.
"It's just because she sees the shiny necklace and it attracts her attention, mother….Though maybe it's also because you tend to….be a little smothering." Evelyn says quietly at the end as Lilith sighs, knowing it's the truth, but after years of stillborn children before Charlie and after Evelyn, Lilith seems especially attached to her youngest child.
"I know, dear, but after having you then years of stillborns, I just worry that something may happen to her…I was very much the same when you were born…you weren't breathing, but by some miracle you came back to life. I always feared I'd never again have a living child, but then came Charlie, and it felt like after centuries of darkness, I had another light in my life." Lilith expresses her turmoil as Evelyn, holding Charlie, gazes with understanding at her mother, as in her past life, she knew many women who lost children. Adjusting her hold on a cooing Charlie, she wraps her free arm around her mother as the two mature blonde women share a tender mother-daughter moment.
