A soft touch had caressed over Brand's hair, eyes and face. Ruby greets him as he wakes up, wiping tears accumulated at the end of his eye socket. He had returned to the ruin.
"She had been by your side since you lost consciousness." The little angel flew to him, checked, and sat on his head.
"Felt anything?" Seraphine asked.
He put his hand on his chest, which was still trembling with the sudden surge of energy. The energy flow was chaotic. Completely different than what he felt before.
He felt as if he was having motion sickness when he focused too long on the chaotic energy flow.
He also felt oddly energetic. His blood circulated faster, and he breathed more easily than before.
