Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Rudeus suddenly felt a sense of dread. He looked at his foolishly grinning father beside him, then at his quietly sitting mother.

He really wanted to say, "Your child seems to want to kill me."

But Paul seemed to remember something and grabbed the impatient Luo Ya, pulling him in front of Rudeus. He said with a chuckle, "You two need to get along well."

Two pairs of eyes met. A pair of cold, golden-red pupils made Rudeus almost instinctively avert his gaze.

To be honest, at that moment, he was scared.

Paul noticed the somewhat strange atmosphere between the two. He tapped Luo Ya's forehead and said sternly, "You two must get along well, especially you, Luo Ya. As the older brother, you should be more accommodating to your younger brother."

Luo Ya sighed and nodded helplessly.

Seeing his son's expression, Paul smiled knowingly. Without caring whether Rudeus understood, Paul said to Rudeus, "Don't let your older brother's appearance fool you; he's actually a gentle person."

Then Paul made a funny face, seemingly trying to cheer Rudeus up.

However, Rudeus couldn't bring himself to smile.

After playing with Rudeus for a while and seeing the baby gradually calm down, Paul breathed a sigh of relief. He put Rudeus back in his crib and then began to dote on Zenith, leaving Luo Ya and Lilith to look after Rudeus.

Rudeus half-closed his eyes, pretending to sleep, but was actually secretly observing the child in front of him.

Although he was a rare beauty, there was almost no expression on his face.

Those indifferent eyes showed no emotion. Almost instantly, he recalled the classmates who bullied him in his previous life.

Because of his past self, Rudeus was extremely afraid of strangers. In his eyes, Luo Ya's tender face began to twist and overlap, becoming the people who bullied him in his previous life.

They looked at him with such eyes, didn't they?

He was a little scared and a little panicked. Would this nominal family member bully him like those people in his previous life?

He didn't know. Fear turned into a wave that swept over his entire body. Unconsciously, he began to curl up, just like in his previous life.

Just as Rudeus was feeling suspicious, the two-year-old child approached his crib. He moved a chair and stood directly on it.

Suddenly, Rudeus's face turned pale. His already somewhat pale little face lost all color. His body began to tremble constantly. He told himself over and over again that everything had changed, everything had started anew, but the mental fear made him unable to distinguish reality.

Luo Ya naturally saw this scene.

Looking at the baby who was trying to act calm, seeing his trembling body, he curled up into a ball, as if there was some great terror outside.

Luo Ya sighed. Although he looked down on Rudeus from his previous life a little, he was, after all, a pitiful person.

He reached out to touch that soft, chubby little face.

Rudeus saw the hand getting closer and closer and couldn't help but tremble. Memories of school bullying from his previous life began to surge wildly. Fear turned into a dark hand choking his neck, making it almost impossible for him to breathe.

Tears, against his will, began to well up in his eyes.

However, the next moment, a soft, tender finger pinched Rudeus's cheek.

The imagined feeling of suffocation and pain did not come. What he felt on his face were smooth, soft fingers.

The warm and cool touch made Rudeus stunned.

He suddenly opened his eyes wide. Unknowingly, tears were already streaming from his eyes.

Luo Ya naturally sensed Rudeus's abnormality. He found it amusing. If it were Paul, no matter how dull he was, he would have noticed his abnormality. It was fortunate that he encountered him.

He sighed, "Why should a transmigrator make things difficult for another transmigrator?"

Luo Ya pretended not to notice his abnormality. Luo Ya's finger gently brushed Rudeus's forehead, and a tender voice came from his nominal older brother: "You are my younger brother from now on. I will protect you."

That's what Luo Ya said.

The voice seemed familiar, both far and near. The voice was soft; although the speaker didn't use much force, the words were so clear.

Of course, Rudeus couldn't understand the meaning of this sentence; after all, he had just arrived in this world.

However, this sentence inexplicably made his heart tremble.

His eyes welled up again, and tears flowed down. At this moment, his heart was so fragile, and he was so pathetic.

He hurriedly reached out, wanting to instinctively wipe away his tears, but suddenly remembered that he was a baby. He began to try to hide his abnormality, opening his mouth and wailing loudly, using his cries to cover the tears in his eyes.

Before, it was an act, but now it was real.

Luo Ya was a little speechless. Paul's footsteps soon came from outside. He looked at Luo Ya standing on the chair, then at Rudeus wailing in the stroller.

He stepped forward and asked, "What's wrong?"

Luo Ya still had that indifferent expression. He said, "Perhaps I woke Rudeus up. I'm sorry, Father."

Paul had long been accustomed to Luo Ya's expression. He looked at that calm expression, shook his head helplessly, and said, "You little rascal need to learn to smile more."

Luo Ya thought for a moment and forced out an ugly smile.

Paul covered his face and said, "You'd better just stay like this. I'm making it difficult for you."

Two years had passed since that unexpected incident.

Rudeus now knew the fact that the expressionless, pink-cheeked boy in front of him was his older brother.

It's just that this older brother seemed a little off.

Whenever he tried to do perverted things under the pretext of being young, he would always be stared at by that indifferent gaze.

Then Luo Ya would coldly say, "Rudeus, boys who do such things are considered perverts."

Then his paw, reaching for his underwear, would hover in mid-air.

He wanted to pretend to be a baby and show an innocent smile to try to get away with it.

Unfortunately, his older brother didn't fall for it. He directly picked him up and lightly flicked his forehead.

Then, holding him by the collar, he roughly threw him onto the bed.

Then he said in a very stern tone, "Don't look at other people's privacy with such lustful eyes. Do you want to become Paul?"

Rudeus really wanted to say that he actually wanted to become Paul, but facing that serious, boyish face, he ultimately lowered his head in shame.

Glancing at the sulking Rudeus, Luo Ya continued, "We must be openly perverted."

Rudeus, who had lowered his head, suddenly looked up. He was full of questions, looking at the serious Luo Ya. He really wanted to say, "Do you even hear what you're saying?"

"In short, it's wrong to steal panties, understand, Rudeus?"
