having integrated the design blueprints for the torso armor and helmet onto a single sheet of paper, didn't rush to determine the levels of the soul tools needed for the remaining slots in the battle armor. Instead, he first had the Omniscient Library condense realistic simulation components of the torso armor and helmet according to the blueprints.
These two components could be considered the core parts of the battle armor. To ensure better integration with the other parts, Oschin needed to test whether these components exceeded his usage limits, given that they contained several level-five soul tools exceeding his soul master level.
The testing method was simple: Oschin only needed to operate these two battle armor components at full power in the Omniscient Library's training ground.
Considering that Oschin's soul power level should have reached level forty by the time he actually used the battle armor, he only needed to be able to operate these two components at full power for twenty minutes.
With a "hum," the battle armor components, resonating with Oschin's soul power, transformed into a deep blue stream of light and merged into Oschin's body.
After navigating the rows of bookshelves and taking his place in the center of the training ground, Oschin once again channeled his soul power. This time, the deep blue battle armor pieces, as blue as the night sky, obediently emerged from his body, completely covering his head and upper torso.
"Five, four, three, two, one, training ground activated, countdown twenty minutes, now starting."
The mechanical voice faded, and the technologically advanced training ground came alive. Oschin felt as if he had returned to the labyrinthine alleyway from his training camp. Countless hollow iron balls, crackling with blue arcs of electricity, were launched from the walls surrounding the training ground, attacking him.
Limited by the attack speed of the energy-concentrating soul-guided cannons, Oschin could only activate his acceleration soul-guided device to dodge. Fortunately, his upgraded detection soul-guided system was extremely effective, allowing him to clearly detect all the attack trajectories. The intermittent flashes of light from the large acceleration soul-guided device, combined with the almost non-stop operation of the smaller ones, meant that Oschin wasn't hit by any attacks for the first ten minutes after the training ground activated.
Ten minutes later, the difficulty of the training ground increased significantly. The launched iron balls, upon hitting the wall, were no longer immediately retrieved but instead bounced back onto the field at an accelerated speed. With more and more iron balls appearing on the field, dodging became increasingly difficult for Oschin.
Finally, the energy-concentrating soul-guided cannon on Oschin's chest shone with a bright orange-red light.
A violent wave of flames erupted, and the area hit by the cannon exploded in a series of blasts. After the flames subsided, the area became Oschin's temporary safe zone; the five large iron balls that had previously occupied it were now scattered in fragments.
Firing the energy-concentrating soul-guided cannon approximately every minute and a half, Oschin successfully held out until the timer rang, and all the iron balls returned to the wall.
Calming himself and assessing his remaining soul power, Oschin nodded in satisfaction.
"Although I have less than 20% of my soul power left, considering my current soul power level is only level 37, I should be
able to use this level of battle armor for extended periods of combat once I reach level 40. I can also add some level 5 soul tools to the remaining armor parts; there's no need to use only level 4 soul tools."
Thinking this, Oschin disengaged from the battle armor's fusion state and returned to his desk to continue designing the battle armor on a new sheet of paper.
First, Oschin listed out the remaining armor parts:
shoulder armor;
left and right arm armor;
left and right hand armor and wrist guards;
belt;
left and right leg armor and combat boots.
Following the order from top to bottom, Oschin planned to first determine the type and level of soul tools for the shoulder armor.
Similar to the design philosophy of the mecha, Oschin still planned to add all the conventional offensive firepower to the shoulder armor. Because it's conventional offensive firepower, the attack attributes of the soul tools should be more focused on precise control rather than large-scale, high-intensity blocking attacks.
Considering the presence of the external soul bone Flame Armor Shield on his right hand, Oschin decided to equip the soul tool on his right shoulder armor with the ability to launch attacks imbued with fire elemental attributes.
After all, with the assistance of the soul tool, the Flame Armor Shield could efficiently absorb and condense fire elemental energy for an extended period. It would be a waste to simply consume all this fire elemental energy, especially the ordinary quality fire elemental energy absorbed from the air, through the Flame Armor Shield. As for the dense attack suppression system composed of high-intensity firepower, Oschin plans to achieve this through his left arm armor.
It will still be a Vulcan cannon soul tool, but this time Oschin will inscribe all the spaces on his left arm armor with magic arrays belonging to the Vulcan cannon soul tool.
Although these magic arrays will all be level four soul tool arrays, once all the arrays are activated with soul power, the left arm armor will transform into an eight-barreled Vulcan cannon. Combined with the level four plasma cannon soul tool in the palm of his left hand armor, Oschin will be able to create a perfect firepower blockade that even Tang San's Ghost Shadow Step cannot dodge.
