Chapter 5 - Chapter 5; Lumina's Glow concerns.

The next morning, Ayani from Lumina Glow scheduled a meeting with Zia. As Zia arrived at the Lumina Glow office, Ayani's expression revealed a mix of concern and determination.

"Zia, I've heard rumors about Eclipse Beauty's proposal," Ayani said, her voice firm but friendly. "I want to know if it's true."

Zia hesitated, unsure how much to reveal.

"I did receive an offer," she admitted. "But I'm still considering my options."

Ayani leaned forward, her eyes locked on Zia's.

"Zia, you're a vital part of our team. Your departure would be a significant loss. We're willing to renegotiate your contract, offer more creative freedom, and increase your compensation."

Zia appreciated Ayani's sincerity but remained uncertain.

"I appreciate your willingness to accommodate me, Ayani. However, I need time to think."

Ayani nodded.

"Take all the time you need, Zia. Just remember, Lumina Glow values you. We want to keep you on our team."

As Zia left the meeting, she felt torn between loyalty and opportunity.

A few days later, Zia informed Emily of her decision to stay with Lumina Glow.

"I appreciate the opportunities you've given me, Ayani," Zia said. "I'm committed to our partnership."

Ayani beamed with relief. "We value you, Zia. Your loyalty means everything."

Lumina Glow's team celebrated Zia's decision, reassuring her of their commitment to her growth.

Meanwhile, Eclipse Beauty's team received the news with disappointment.

"We were convinced she'd join us," Rachel, Eclipse Beauty's influencer manager, said, frustration etched on her face.

The CEO, Clyde, frowned. "We can't let Lumina Glow retain their top influencer. We need to rethink our strategy."

Rachel's eyes narrowed. "I have an idea. Let's target Zia's reputation, make her regret choosing Lumina Glow."

Clyde nodded. "Do what it takes, but keep it subtle. We don't want a public backlash."

Eclipse Beauty began discreetly spreading rumors and half-truths about Zia's loyalty and professionalism.

A week later, Zia scrolled through her comments section for her recent video. But instead of the usual enthusiasm, she was met with shocking vitriol.

"You sold your body for fame."

"Prostitute."

"Desperate for fame."

"Aren't you ashamed?"

Zia's eyes widened in horror. Where did these come from? She had no idea what sparked this hatred.

"What's going on?" Zia muttered, scrolling through the comments in disbelief.

Perach who was with Zia sensed something was wrong, looking at her, concern etched on her face. "Zia, what's wrong?"

Zia showed her the comments, her hands shaking.

Perach's expression darkened. "This is ridiculous...beyond ridiculous. We need to find out who's behind this."

Zia's mind reeled. Who could be spreading such vicious lies? She hadn't done anything to warrant this.

Determined to uncover the truth, Zia began tracing the source of the comments.

"This can't be a coincidence," Zia said, her voice firm. "Someone's intentionally trying to ruin my reputation."

Perach nodded. "We'll get to the bottom of this."
