"Your - ame is Scar ,your name is SCAR remember that ,SCARRR!" a scream broke down the hold of sleep on a young man with his bare chest caved in.
Cough!cough !splurt, scarlet liquid that seemed to be blood ,was vomited out of this individual who from the looks of things seemed to be in need of help. Lying on his back , a young man of colour who had the appearance of a eighteen year old with dreadlocks that reached his waist in length,a tattoo of the mathematical symbol of equality was on his left hand. His bare chest had strands of cloths that seemed to have ripped off him ,the chest was caved in as if it was pounded into that unusual condition."Help -me hel ,splurt!"in the middle of his weak plea for help another round of bloody coughs left him .
Everything around him went black for a moment .Birds began chirping ,the wind began to blow fiercely as if it was trying to rip off his skin and in front of his stood a woman . The darkness began to run away from this woman and the surroundings the young man was in began to be visible .He was in a forest with huge baobab trees mixed with shrubs and Musasa trees and it smelt,felt like home.
Standing ten feet away from him with her back turned towards him was a physically attractive lady,wearing a dress with strange mathematical symbols of negative and positive .With curves so impressive they could be seen through all of the covering she was having. Pearly white skin that looked cold and warm at the same time .Black hair that ran down to her calves . A certain atmosphere of royalty surrounded her pure ,sharp ,regal. Every man's dream but yet this young man still got goosebumps ,occasional shivers that attacked him everytile he looked at her ,to him she was a beast a dangerous one too.
"Who are you ? "
"Who are you ?" before he answered her the first time she had already asked him again. Her voice calm but sharp laced with no emotion whatsoever, it was cold river in the winter kind of cold .
Tension started to rise with every second of silence between the two. In about thirty seconds of unspoken silence it was enough to be cut with a knife .
"Rose " a seering pain ,equivalent to the pain one would get from mistakenly bangng your head to the edge of an open window,befall the young man.The name had come out of his mouth but why he didn't know his mouth acted on it's own .
"Who are you " rattle! rattle ! the sound of dry leaves moving accompanied by the sweet voice brought him back to his current reality. He lifted up his head just in time to see the lady slowly turn around to face him . Everything was as how he had imagined it she was white and did have a stand-alone physical appearance but what was not there shocked him the most ,her face !it was nowhere to be seen.
Gu gu gum gu gum these were the sounds his heart was making, slow ,powerful blows began to hammer his ribcage.His heart was behaving as if it wanted to escape and run away on it own living here to deal with horrendous situation he had in front of him. In a matter of second sweat infested his forehead dripping silent to his dry lips. His left leg suddenly jerked ,it was powerless kneeling .Iris stretched to the max he was not letting her out if his sight . When his eyelids grew tired he blinked ,the first mistake in this whole encounter was committed ."Shit l m dead"for the first in as far as he could remember words formed in his foggy brain acknowledging fault in his actions.The moment he had blinked ,the lady had disappeared from his line of vision .Opening his eyes to see her inches away from his ..they were breathing the same air (that's if she could breath)."WHO ARE YOU"A blood curling scream penetrated his head or was already in his head busting his eardrums from the inside out.
"I DON'T KNOW ,SILENCE!" the young man jumped up to his feet and screamed as hard as he could ,destroying vocals chords in the process as his scream was more beastly that it was human.
"REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE ,SON OF EQUALITY "again she screamed into his brain.Seems like all along she had been psychically speaking to him .
"We died ,we live ,we might be dead ,but you are still alive therefore find us if we are dead gives us the send off we deserve ,the light gave us what it took away from others and we give it to you ,it is not your time to join us " the words sounded clear yet he still couldn't pinpoint what they were referring to .They were hiccups in between the sentences as if she was stopping herself from crying .The young man found himself touching her face lifting up her head .He hugged tightly feeling the cold in her body mingling with his feverish body calming him down"What am l doing ?"
"Your name is SCAR and you have to wake up find Bob ,find Bob"with these words a short sharp pain attacked his chest .She disappeared this time she was nowhere to be found. Hesitantly he looked down to his chest ,there a long dagger was struck in his heart eating away his last few moments in this forest .The darkness that had been vanquished moments ago slowly was coming back and in the dark the voice he was most confused by came back to him."SON OF EQUALITY SCAR,LIVE YOUR LIFE AND OURS IN OUR PLACE WAKE UP WITH GRACE MY L" The last words were embedded by the sound of water hitting him right in the face stealing the ability to breathe there and then .
"Rise and shine ,princess" a growl broke the peace
