Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 – A New Name, A New Beginning

"Relax, Elijah," I say with a small smile as he stiffens beside me. "We're not in a noble gathering anymore. You don't have to call me 'Master' every five minutes."

He blinks, visibly uncertain. "Then… what should I call you?"

I lean back in my chair, letting the soft light of our hidden laboratory play off the silver in my hair. "Well, my new body's name is Harry—but my real name is Isaac. I'll go by 'Harry' when we're around others, but here, just call me Isaac. You're my best friend, not my subordinate."

For a moment, Elijah hesitates. Then, slowly, a grin spreads across his face. "Isaac," he says, tasting the name like it's both foreign and familiar.

Lily smiles warmly, the gold in her eyes reflecting mine. "It suits you," she murmurs.

"Good," I reply. "Because this world's about to get confusing enough as it is."

I raise a hand, focusing my mind. Threads of silver light extend from my fingertips, weaving intricate patterns through the air before touching their foreheads. Their eyes glaze for a second as I pour in the foundational knowledge of this world—its history, language, customs, even its laws of magic. Everything they'll need to blend in seamlessly.

When the spell fades, Elijah exhales softly. "This world… it's strange. Their magic is so—primitive."

"Exactly," I say with a faint smirk. "That's why we'll fit right in."

After that, I make a few final adjustments to our surroundings. With carefully calibrated memory and compulsion charms, I rewrite the Dursleys' perceptions, altering their reality itself. To them, Elijah and Lily are simply their other children—normal, loved, and unquestioned. The changes are subtle but absolute; the mind accepts what it's told to believe, especially when magic whispers it as truth.

As I watch them upstairs, smiling and laughing together like any other family, I can't help but feel a strange calm settle over me.

For the first time in centuries, I have my sister and my best friend beside me again. A family—fabricated or not, it's ours.

And soon, Hogwarts will open its doors.

A new life. A new game. A new world to conquer.
