Jiangxi, Deep Bliss Pure Land.
[Bodhisattva Coiled Dragon Shadow] slowly stretched his limbs, standing up under the heavy pressure of the Buddhist light filling the sky, his majestic golden body towering into the clouds.
Around him were the three Bodhisattvas of the Pure Land.
[Bodhisattva Precious Vase Water Moon], [Bodhisattva Precious Lotus Hidden Subduer], and [Bodhisattva Precious Vajra Victory] all manifested their golden bodies at this moment, surprisingly joining forces to suppress him.
At this instant, the Buddhist Kingdom Pure Land, the Great Thunderclap Temple, turned into a killing field of the mortal world. Thousands of concepts reflected divine abilities, causing heaven and earth to change color, dust and smoke to roll, and rosy light to fill the sky. Deafening zen chants echoed between heaven and earth like demonic sounds pouring into ears, rumbling around [Bodhisattva Coiled Dragon Shadow].
"Useless, merely a futile effort."
Seeing this scene, [Bodhisattva Coiled Dragon Shadow]... or rather [Sky-Shrouding], laughed mockingly: "[One Mind] might handle ordinary Perfected Lords."
"Using it against me is a bit wishful thinking."
As his voice fell, [Sky-Shrouding] stood straight. His golden body stretched, seeming to have billions of mountains and rivers emerging on his skin, acupoints, and internal organs.
At the same time, his voice sang out faintly:
"Though the mortal world fills three thousand zhang, it ends here; though the Pure Land is separated by billions of miles, it comes at my call."
As the mantra fell, the majestic golden body instantly displayed thousands of concepts. A wheel of wisdom dharma behind his head, pure Buddhist light, and countless disciples chanted within the golden body.
Seeing this scene, the expressions of the three Bodhisattvas all changed.
[Wondrous Manifestations Zen Forest]!
As the name implies, one golden body is one zen forest, one Buddhist Kingdom. At this moment, being arctivated by [Sky-Shrouding], it instantly let out an earth-shattering sound.
For a time, heaven and earth were buried by Buddhist light. Even the three Bodhisattvas found it hard to sense anything, feeling only infinite Buddhist principles and supreme divine wonders rising from below like fountain water, unstoppable. Even the formations originally used to suppress [Sky-Shrouding] surprisingly lost their effectiveness one after another at this moment!
"To think he could do this..."
[Bodhisattva Precious Lotus Hidden Subduer] was dumbfounded. This formation was the Pure Land Grand Formation, naturally responding to heaven and specializing in suppressing evils, yet at this moment, it could not suppress [Sky-Shrouding]!
There was only one possibility.
This old bastard of the Saint Sect... his comprehension of Buddhism, of the [Deep Bliss Nirvana Dao], and of the [Mahayana True Enlightenment Fundamental Sutra] actually surpasses ours!
What kind of joke is this!
If this gets out... no, it has already gotten out!
After all, with such a huge disturbance, any Perfected Lord could sense it. Even Foundation Establishment Perfected Ones could perceive the sudden situation in the Pure Land.
At this moment, [Sky-Shrouding] propped up the zen forest, straightened his golden body, and relied on profound Buddhism to ignore the formation suppression. In his Buddha palm, he held the Unorthodox Dao Fruit [Myriad Transformations], and already sensing [Silted Sand Earth]. Besides this, the [White Wax Gold] Immortal Spirit collected by the Pure Land was also taken out by him.
For a time, the whole world was shocked!
"Late Golden Core, Five Elements Perfection... can be this powerful? I've seen [Perfected Lord Gangxing Budao]'s incarnation act before, but never with such momentum..."
"a mere unorthodox path... but under [Sky-Shrouding]'s blessing, it can withstand three Pure Land Bodhisattvas head-on, and even have spare energy to sense the Dao Fruit. How the fuck do we fight this..."
At the same time, [Bodhisattva Precious Lotus Hidden Subduer] gritted her silver teeth.
"Go all out!"
"We must suppress this bastard. World Honored One above, even if he possessed Coiled Dragon, he absolutely cannot last long. Otherwise, he is seeking his own death!"
As her voice fell, she rushed up first, starting with an Immortal Method. The remaining two Pure Land Bodhisattvas also hurriedly followed, daring not neglect in the slightest.
But even so, [Sky-Shrouding] still showed no panic. He held the Buddhist dharma firmly in his left hand—at first glance, looking more like a Pure Land Bodhisattva than the Pure Land Bodhisattvas themselves. In his right hand, he pinched the Knowledge-Perception Barrier, using it at an incredibly ingenious timing, only taking it out to reverse the situation when falling into a disadvantage.
Back and forth, he actually gained the upper hand!
Seeing this scene, Hong Yun, who was already burning with anxiety, was moved again and looked at Lu Yang: "Fellow Daoist, still not acting? We can't really let him win!"
Hearing this, Lu Yang pursed his lips, thoughts turning a hundred times in his heart.
[Sky-Shrouding]'s strength would also increase.
If he really snatched food from the tiger's mouth, even grabbing just one of [Silted Sand Earth] or [White Wax Gold], it would greatly enhance his ability to interfere with the present world.
But the next second, he shook his head firmly: "Don't move."
He understood Hong Yun's meaning. It was nothing more than feeling that [Sky-Shrouding] was currently fighting fiercely with others and unable to attend to other things, making it the best time for him to seek golden core and ascend to the position.
But... not right!
Lu Yang felt this was just [Sky-Shrouding]'s diversionary tactic.
No, it can't really call it a diversionary tactic. With [Sky-Shrouding]'s ability, if I really ignore it, he probably really can collect the two Dao Fruits.
Whether he could or not, Lu Yang determined he could!
Better to overestimate the enemy!
Thinking of this, he immediately said in a deep voice: "Indeed, we can't really let [Sky-Shrouding] win, but now is not the best time for Fellow Daoist to seek golden core and ascend to the position."
[Sky-Shrouding] had already placed the first piece. Now it was his turn to place a piece.
The next second, [Sky-Shrouding] in the Netherworld sensed it. Looking towards overseas, he saw a brilliant light soaring into the sky, reflecting the light and color of the dome of heaven.
"...Suo Huan?"
[Sky-Shrouding] saw clearly. That light penetrated heaven and earth, revealing a strong boundless atmosphere, corresponding precisely to the Dao Fruit he longed for day and night.
[Eternal Flowing Water]!
"How could Suo Huan suddenly start seeking golden core? its just a trap!"
This was [Sky-Shrouding]'s first reaction. But soon, his expression became grave. The reason was simple: What if Suo Huan really succeeded?
If Suo Huan truly attain [Eternal Flowing Water], it would be no different from Chong Guang attaining [Overturned Lamp Flame]. He could likewise reverse Chen Earth back. Even more troublesome, Suo Huan was different from Chong Guang; his seeking golden core didn't need Chen Earth at all, so [Sky-Shrouding] didn't even have the means to handle him!
"No, his probability of seeking golden core is very low..."
The more [Sky-Shrouding] thought, the uglier his face became. That's right, Suo Huan's hope of seeking golden core was very low, but wasn't there a mastermind helping him?
There was always hope!
Thinking of this, [Sky-Shrouding] also understood tacitly: "This is an open and aboveboard scheme, forcing me to intervene and further distract my energy."
But could he ignore it?
He couldn't!
Unless he was willing to bet that Suo Huan definitely couldn't attain [Eternal Flowing Water]. But how could he gamble on such a thing? Losing meant losing even the chance for a desperate fight!
Immediately after, [Sky-Shrouding] sensed something again.
It was precisely in the Kingdom of Qing, Jiangbei. Chong Guang had completed the ritual and began to lift the blessed land, ascending to the Dao Fruit. At the same time, the aura on his body also underwent subtle changes.
The Chen Earth on his body... was reversed by himself?
[Sky-Shrouding] was slightly shocked in his heart, then sighed: "Another one. How many heroes are there in the world... Whatever. I cannot ignore it. I must act to stop them!"
In an instant, the battle situation in the direction of the Pure Land suddenly eased.
Clearly, [Sky-Shrouding] withdrew part of his energy and placed it on Chong Guang and Suo Huan, causing the three Pure Land Bodhisattvas to regain the upper hand.
Correspondingly, changes occurred for both Chong Guang and Suo Huan.
"Hmm!?"
Chong Guang paused his movements, discovering that the Chen Earth he had successfully reversed back to Yang attribute using the power of the ritual had surprisingly turned back to the Yin attribute again.
On the other side, Suo Huan also paused his movements. Shockingly, the [Spirit Ruins Blessed Land] crumbled with a boom!
