Boom!
A bright white brilliance illuminated heaven and earth at this moment. However, Empress Xiao, reflected in the brilliance, revealed an expression of extreme terror.
Everything happened too fast.
From Lu Yang summoning [Heavenly Commander of All Phenomena] and striking with lightning speed, using divine wonders beyond her expectations to launch a sneak attack.
To her regaining her senses.
Before she could recover from the shock and confusion, her vision was already filled with sword edges. It was Lu Yang holding [Tribulation Wave], killing his way to her face.
In this situation, what should she do?
What could she do?
[One with the World].
In a flash of lightning, Empress Xiao forcefully endured the discomfort of her soul being shaken. Unable to think much, she could only immediately pull out her strongest defensive trump card.
In an instant, web-like patterns spread from the round light behind her head, connecting heaven and earth, protecting her whole body in the center. At this moment, no matter how strong the attack falling on her was, the only result would be heaven and earth bearing it instead, and then the enemy suffering heavenly punishment.
However, what she welcomed was not the expected sword light.
But Lu Yang's palm. In the center of the palm, the dazzling, brilliant [The Wise Ruler] brushed onto [One with the World] without any hindrance.
Strip!
Under Empress Xiao's horrified gaze, [One with the World], which she regarded as her trump card, was stripped away by Lu Yang just like that, actually throwing itself into his embrace.
Whoosh whoosh!
The sky-filling floral fragrance became rich again. The sea of flowers clustered together, about to submerge Empress Xiao's figure, helping her avoid the disaster and escape from Lu Yang's hands.
But it was too late. Just now, provoked by Lu Yang's sword light, Empress Xiao had activated [One with the World] with almost full power. Now switching divine abilities, although it took only one-billionth of an instant, she was ultimately half a beat too slow. And Lu Yang's [The Wise Ruler] was right in front of her eyes; she couldn't dodge it at all!
The next second, Lu Yang's [The Wise Ruler] slapped onto her body.
[Hundred Flowers Palace]? Strip!
[Containing Ten Thousand Treasures]? Strip!
As for other divine abilities originating from [Seven Luminaries Heaven], as well as defensive Spirit Treasures, her phoenix crown and luan robe—all stripped! Not a single thing left for Empress Xiao!
In just a blink of an eye, Empress Xiao was reduced from a high and mighty Foundation Establishment Perfection Great Perfected One with ten divine abilities to a delicate and beautiful noblewoman.
"You..."
For a moment, Empress Xiao's naked body fell into the rosy clouds. Her fair, pretty face flushed blood-red with anger, but she was directly suppressed underneath by Lu Yang's single hand.
"...Wuwuwu!"
Lu Yang had long coveted Empress Xiao's Dao comprehension. Now that he finally caught the opportunity, he naturally wouldn't be polite at all. He immediately activated the [Heaven-Mending True Scripture]—
"Ah!"
For a time, Empress Xiao's mournful and beautiful cries rang out in the surroundings.
Outside the Kunning Palace, Crown Prince Longxing felt something was wrong.
"Has Mother Empress not come out of seclusion yet?"
Hearing this, the Five Imperial Military Commanders guarding the door shook their heads in unison: "Answering Your Highness, we do not know. Perhaps it will take some more time..."
"More time?"
"Now inside and outside Tianwu City is in civil strife! The officials, the Imperial City Division, and the Five Imperial Military Camps are fighting in a tangled mess. It is the time for Mother Empress to preside over the overall situation."
Crown Prince Longxing looked dissatisfied. "Earlier you said it would take time, now you still say it takes time. When will this time be enough? Mother Empress is muddled!"
Although he said so, he dared not force his way into the Kunning Palace. He could only frown at the Kunning Palace, where tremors were becoming increasingly intense and vague sounds seemed to be coming out, though the specific content was unclear. In the end, he could only fling his sleeves and turn to leave, leaving behind a slightly shaking Kunning Palace.
Dim main hall.
The overflowing divine ability brilliance from before had long since dimmed, and the fierce collision had ended. Only two heavy breathing sounds echoed in the main hall.
Empress Xiao's eyes were tightly closed. Her whole body was covered in the flushed red left just now, and the robe used for protection was torn to shreds. Her exquisite jade face was written with confusion, her thoughts seeming to wander beyond the heavens. After a long time, she shivered and woke up, the expression on her face hard to describe.
"You..." Empress Xiao looked at Lu Yang beside her, her eyes intoxicated.
She was Emperor Jiayou's Empress, the Mother of the Dao Court.
Yet just now, she was suppressed by Lu Yang without mercy. No matter how she begged for mercy, the other party ignored it until she was beaten completely unconscious.
This feeling of dignity and body being humiliated together was her first time experiencing it.
It really makes one unable to stop... No!
The next second, Empress Xiao bit her red lips fiercely: It's the [Heaven-Mending True Scripture]! One of the most superior demonic techniques of the Demonic Sect... I was refined into a furnace by him!
Thinking of this, Empress Xiao immediately cut off the distracting thoughts in her heart. Her perfect face once again showed the nobility and grace of an Empress, although this temperament completely mismatched her action of tightly hugging Lu Yang at this moment. But even she didn't notice this point.
"What exactly do you want to do?"
Empress Xiao lowered her voice and gritted her teeth, "[Heaven-Mending True Scripture]... Are you a Perfected One of the Demonic Sect? Trying to obtain my Dao comprehension and knowledge through this method?"
"Mmh..."
Only then did Lu Yang make a sound: "Such a majestic amount... It seems your claim of reading through the Four Treasuries Daoist Canon was not a lie, Your Majesty."
Empress Xiao's Dao comprehension was really high.
So high that the [Heaven-Mending True Scripture] actually couldn't harvest it all at once. This was Lu Yang's first time encountering such a situation, which was why he couldn't help but praise aloud.
It's just that I'm suffering.
Lu Yang shook his head, sighing in his heart:
Although Iam not fond of lust, for the sake of cultivation, I can only brace myself and go again a few more times... It's really too difficult for me!
After speaking, he hugged Empress Xiao again.
"Traitor!"
Empress Xiao was stunned: You're doing it again!?
However, all her divine abilities, power, and spiritual treasures had all been stripped by Lu Yang using [The Wise Ruler]. She was completely powerless to stop Lu Yang's actions.
Therefore, she could only raise her tender white fists and pound Lu Yang's chest hard.
Seeing this, Lu Yang chuckled lightly: "Your Majesty, you actually have a great misunderstanding of me. If we compare carefully, I am actually on your side."
Empress Xiao wept tears of anger:
Aren't we in the same side? Now we've become one body!
Lu Yang didn't care and continued, "Your Majesty, you did so much, nothing more than wanting to seek the Golden Core. Actually, I can help you with this point."
"Of course, provided you enter this treasure of mine voluntarily."
After speaking, Lu Yang took out the [Myriad Spirits Banner]. As the banner fluttered, rolling black energy surged from it, revealing an aura that made Empress Xiao tremble with fear.
What treasure is this?
Empress Xiao pondered in her heart and also understood Lu Yang's meaning. She immediately shook her head: "You want me to join your camp and rebel with you?"
Hearing this, Lu Yang shook his head and said in a deep voice, "It's rebellion if we fail; but it's restoring order if we succeed! Isn't it?"
As his voice fell, Empress Xiao couldn't help but hold her breath, her delicate body tensing up.
However, Lu Yang still didn't stop:
"Moreover, Your Majesty, with your Dao comprehension and cultivation base, you should be considered high-ranking in the Dao Court, right? But can you continue to be promoted?"
"Do you have hope of seeking the Golden Core?"
"In comparison, your son—that incompetent crown prince you speak of, can rightfully ascend the throne in the future and become a Golden Core Perfected Lord."
"Don't you feel wronged?"
Lu Yang's fiery eyes made Empress Xiao lower her head unconsciously.
But the next second, Lu Yang's palm gripped her chin, forcefully turning it back so Empress Xiao had to continue looking at him.
"Open your eyes wide and look at me!"
Lu Yang's voice sounded faintly like the most tempting demonic sound: "Your Majesty, I once heard a saying, and today I give it to you as is."
"Although the night of seeking the Golden Core is short, that glory will last for a long time... And this glory, I will never enjoy alone."
As his voice fell, the [Myriad Spirits Banner] trembled.
Faintly, the Uniorthodox Dao Fruit [Seven Luminaries Heaven], which Lu Yang brought back from his previous life and was completely perfect, slowly revealed a weak aura.
"...!?"
Empress Xiao's eyes widened instantly.
At the same time, Lu Yang also lowered his eyelids. The two looked at each other like this, their breathing becoming heavier and heavier, and the surrounding temperature began to rise gradually.
The next second, Empress Xiao no longer refused and actively hugged Lu Yang.
