Whismur's timidity melts away, replaced by a newfound confidence. The rhythmic techno beat wraps around Whismur. The Whismur dances, swaying to the rhythm. Cyborg guides Whismur, his metal hand firm, encouraging the Whismur. Soon, Whismur is giggling, losing itself in the music.
Rockruff matches Beast Boy's energy, nipping, barking, and leaping. Beast Boy, with infectious energy, encourages the puppy. He playfully dodges Rockruff's advances, laughing and clapping his hands. The cave vibrates with joy.
The other Pokémon join in the revelry. The Zubat create aerial formations, flying in sync with the music. The Sableye sway, their gems casting colorful lights. The Rock-types groove, their bodies tapping.
The music fades into silence. The dancing Pokémon freeze. The happy atmosphere transforms into tension. A heavy weight hangs in the air. The Zubat flutter erratically. The Sableye hide. The Rock-types stand tall.
Cyborg frowns. "What's going on?" he asks.
Beast Boy shivers. "Something's not right," he replies. "I feel like something bad is about to happen."
A deep rumble echoes through the cave, growing louder with each passing second. The walls vibrate. Dust and pebbles fall from the ceiling. The Pokémon cry out, their voices filled with alarm.
From the depths of the cave, an imposing figure emerges. Aggron is a titan of steel and stone. Its metallic armor is dented, and weathered, a testament to countless battles. Its horns are sharp, and powerful, capable of crushing rock.
The Aggron is awakened, and its eyes glow with fury. It rises to its full height, a mountain of muscle. The ground shakes with each step. The Aggron scans the cave, its gaze locking onto Cyborg and Beast Boy. Aggron emits a deafening roar.
Cyborg swallows hard. "Uh, Beast Boy? Did you order the extra-large, extra-angry metal dinosaur?"
Beast Boy's eyes widen. "Nope. Pretty sure that wasn't on the menu."
"Greetings, large metal being!" Cyborg yells, hoping for diplomacy. "We just came here to have a good time! No harm intended!"
Aggron roars, a sound that shakes the very foundations of the cave. It does not care for pleasantries or excuses. This is its territory, and they are intruders. The joyful atmosphere disintegrates. Panic fills the cave.
Every Pokémon scatters. The Zubat dart through the air. Sableye disappear into the shadows. The Rock-types scramble over each other. Cyborg and Beast Boy join the stampede.
"Abort the party! Abort the party!" Cyborg yells.
In the mayhem, Whismur and Rockruff struggle to keep up. Whismur's tiny legs wobble. Rockruff's puppy paws slip on the damp stone. They fall behind the fleeing mass of Pokémon.
Cyborg glances back. "BB! Those two are falling behind!"
Beast Boy stops, his face etched with worry. "We can't leave them!"
"Are you crazy?!" Cyborg exclaims. "That thing could flatten us!"
"But they're just babies, Cy!" Beast Boy says, his voice pleading. "We can't just leave them to get stomped!"
Cyborg hesitates, weighing the risks. He glances at the approaching Aggron, then at the two frightened Pokémon.
"Alright, alright," Cyborg relents. "But we gotta be quick. One grab, and we're out!"
Beast Boy nods, determination hardening his face. "Let's go save some Pokémon!"
They turn and race back toward the danger.
Cyborg barrels through the panicked Pokémon, scooping up Whismur in one metal hand. Beast Boy, morphing into a cheetah, snatches Rockruff with his jaws. Cheetah-Beast Boy and Cyborg sprint. Debris rains down, narrowly missing them.
A chunk of rock slams into Cyborg's back, sending him stumbling forward. Sparks erupt from his armor. Beast Boy yelps, a stray stone clipping his cheetah leg. The Aggron closes in.
"We're cooked!" Cyborg shouts, cradling Whismur.
Aggron raises a massive foot, ready to crush them. Beast Boy closes his eyes, bracing for impact.
Whoosh! A blur of green energy slams into Aggron's side, knocking it off balance. Zygarde 10% Forme lands between them and the behemoth. Its canine form crackles with energy. It snarls at the Aggron, a silent challenge.
"What kind of Pokémon is that thing?" Cyborg asks.
"Never seen anything like it," Beast Boy whispers, amazed.
Zygarde 10% Forme darts around Aggron, a streak of emerald. It snaps at Aggron's legs, distracting the larger Pokémon. Aggron swings its massive arms, but Zygarde is too quick. The earth trembles with each missed strike.
Sensing an opportunity, Aggron unleashes a roar. Zygarde does not flinch.
The Aggron hesitates, its eyes narrowing. It sizes up Zygarde 10% Forme, recognizing an ancient, powerful presence. With a final bellow, Aggron turns and lumbers back into the depths of the cave, disappearing into the shadows.
Cyborg exhales, his metal frame shaking. "Well, that was too close for comfort."
Beast Boy shifts back to his human form. "Thanks, mystery dog-lizard-thing!"
Whismur nuzzles against Cyborg's metal cheek, whispering a soft murmur of gratitude. Rockruff licks Beast Boy's face.
"Looks like someone's happy to be alive," Beast Boy says, grinning.
"BOOYAH!" Cyborg shouts, a wave of relief washing over him. "Now that's what I call a rescue mission!"
"Though, what was that Pokémon?" Beast Boy asks. "I've never seen anything like it."
"Me neither," Cyborg responds. "But I'm grateful it showed up."
They exchange puzzled glances.
"We probably shouldn't keep whatever just happened a secret," Cyborg says, concerned. "But, first... We should probably finish exploring!"
Beast Boy laughs, "Good point! This place is amazing! And those other Pokémon could be cool, too."
They place Whismur and Rockruff down gently, preparing to continue the adventure. Whismur whimpers. The sound is small, but insistent. It tugs at Cyborg's metal leg.
"Huh?" Cyborg asks.
Whismur looks up at Cyborg, its eyes filled with emotion.
Cyborg and Beast Boy kneel, concern etched on their faces. "What's wrong, little guy?" Cyborg asks gently.
Whismur responds, letting out a soft cry, nuzzling deeper into Cyborg's leg. It looks up, its eyes pleading.
Rockruff barks excitedly, bounding towards Beast Boy. He nudges his hand, begging to be picked up.
Cyborg and Beast Boy exchange puzzled looks. "You...you want to come with us?"
Whismur nods vigorously, letting out a happy coo. Rockruff mirrors Whismur, wagging its tail, and letting out a playful yip.
A wave of joy washes over Cyborg and Beast Boy. "Wait, are you serious?" Cyborg asks, incredulous.
"Does that mean...we have our own Pokémon?!" Beast Boy exclaims.
The two new friends nod, their eyes shining with excitement. Whismur and Rockruff leap, and climb.
Cyborg and Beast Boy erupt with joy. Cyborg hoists Whismur onto his shoulder. Beast Boy picks up Rockruff.
"BOOYAH! I'm a Pokémon Trainer!" Cyborg shouts.
Beast Boy laughs, "Me too! This is the best day ever!"
Despite the danger, they had successfully befriended new Pokémon.
