Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2: I Won't Be the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki!

Naruto realized that whenever his anger flared, the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan would erupt, but his consciousness would blur, teetering on the edge of losing control.

If he gave in to rage, he'd be consumed, spiraling into a rampage.

The thought of Broly's terrifying berserk state sent cold sweat trickling down Naruto's forehead.

If he lost control in this world, there'd be no Goku or Vegeta to snap him out of it. He'd keep destroying until the entire ninja world was reduced to rubble.

How infuriating! Why did his cheat ability have to be so uncontrollable?

Sure, the Legendary Super Saiyan was invincible, but the side effects were insane!

From now on, his training wouldn't focus on boosting his strength but on mastering his emotions.

He believed only rational control could lead to true power. Blind rage was a dead end.

But then he gave a bitter chuckle. Could he really emulate the original Naruto Uzumaki's heart and keep his emotions in check?

As he spiraled into these thoughts, a figure appeared beside him—his "temporary" father, Minato Namikaze.

Minato looked worse for wear. The pristine white Hokage cloak he'd worn before was now stained with dirt.

He gazed at Naruto with reluctance but steeled himself, scooped up the infant, and vanished in a flash.

In a forest a few kilometers from Konoha, golden chains bound a massive red fox, dozens of meters tall.

The fox had nine thrashing tails, its menacing aura so overwhelming that a mere glance could steal one's breath.

Yet, despite its power, the Nine-Tails was immobilized, trapped by the seemingly delicate golden chains.

Kushina Uzumaki, who wielded the Adamantine Sealing Chains, was barely clinging to life. Her breathing grew labored, her strength fading fast.

At that moment, Minato appeared within the barrier using Flying Thunder God, holding the newborn Naruto in his arms.

Yes, his name was officially Naruto Uzumaki.

The choice of "Uzumaki" wasn't because Minato had too many enemies who might target his son. It was simpler: Kushina came from the noble, albeit fallen, Uzumaki clan. Even in decline, the Uzumaki name carried more prestige than the commoner surname "Namikaze."

By giving Naruto the Uzumaki name, he was born into nobility—fallen or not—rather than an obscure civilian lineage.

Seeing Minato, Kushina, pale and weak, forced a smile. "Quick, bring Naruto here. Let me see him one last time."

Minato hurried to her side, holding Naruto before her.

As mother and son locked eyes, tears streamed down Kushina's cheeks, dripping onto the ground.

"Naruto, don't be picky with food. Eat well and grow strong! Take a bath every day to stay warm. Don't stay up late—get plenty of sleep…

Make friends, but you don't need many. A few you can truly trust are enough…

I wasn't the best at it, but study hard and practice your ninjutsu. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, so don't get discouraged if you struggle.

At the ninja academy, respect your teachers and seniors…"

Naruto, swaddled tightly, listened to every word, tears welling in his eyes.

Though they'd only just met, he felt the genuine love from Minato and Kushina.

He fought to suppress his emotions, terrified that losing control would trigger a rampage.

But as Kushina's words poured out, his restraint began to crumble.

Meanwhile, Minato had begun the Reaper Death Seal. The ghostly hand of the Shinigami pierced his abdomen, seizing half of the Nine-Tails' chakra and sealing it into his soul.

The Nine-Tails roared in agony, sensing half its essence vanish, as if locked away in another world.

It was a gut-wrenching loss, like a piece of itself was gone forever.

Glaring at the infant below—the cause of its "mutilation"—the Nine-Tails bellowed and lunged a claw toward Naruto.

It knew Minato's speed made him untouchable in its bound state. So, it targeted his child. They planned to seal it into this brat? Fine, it would kill him first.

As the claw descended, Minato and Kushina threw themselves in front of Naruto without hesitation.

A sickening squelch echoed as the claw pierced their bodies, blood dripping down onto Naruto's cheek.

Naruto's eyes widened, staring at the couple shielding him. His emotions teetered on the brink.

Kushina, still speaking, turned to Minato, who was also impaled. "I'm sorry, Minato, I've been doing all the talking…"

Minato shook his head, shifting to reveal a bloodied but smiling face. To Naruto, he said, "Naruto, your dad's got the same nagging advice as your chatty mom."

Boom!

Naruto's emotions shattered. Screw the Nine-Tails! He didn't want it!

If he went berserk, so be it—he was done holding back!

Green energy erupted from his body, its wild aura forcing the Nine-Tails to freeze in shock.

What was this? How could this infant unleash such power?

Minato and Kushina stared, stunned, as their wounds stopped bleeding, enveloped by a gentle green energy.

Naruto, still in his swaddle, floated upward, cloaked in green light. His blue eyes faded, turning pure white, devoid of pupils.

Yet, a sliver of his consciousness remained, directing part of his power to protect Minato and Kushina.

He drifted toward the Nine-Tails, his pupil-less eyes locking onto the beast, a crazed, bloodthirsty grin spreading across his face.

The barrier Minato and Kushina had set to contain the Nine-Tails shattered instantly, fragments scattering like broken glass.

The Nine-Tails, facing Naruto's overwhelming aura, staggered back, its expression one of sheer terror.

What was this kid? Why did he exude such a horrifying presence?

Under the beast's horrified gaze, Naruto raised his right fist, aiming at the Nine-Tails' head, and swung.

The punch didn't connect physically—their distance was over ten meters, far beyond Naruto's reach.

But the green energy surged with his fist, slamming into the Nine-Tails' head.

The massive beast crumbled like tofu under a hammer, half its body reduced to fragments, its remnants swaying but not yet falling.

Minato and Kushina's eyes widened in disbelief. Their newborn had just obliterated the Nine-Tails with one punch.

What was going on with Naruto? How could he wield such power?

If Minato didn't know Kushina so well, he might've suspected Naruto wasn't his. Even Kushina began to wonder—was this really their child?

The Nine-Tails, however, wasn't dead. As a being of pure chakra, it could withstand such damage. Its fragments began to reform, chakra gathering at the breaks until the towering beast stood whole again.

Reformed, it glared at the floating infant, its expression grim. This kid was trouble, but the Nine-Tails would never surrender. It would rather die than submit!

Opening its maw, it gathered chakra—yin and yang in a 2:8 ratio—forming a Tailed Beast Bomb.

Minato's face paled. He recognized the technique; his Rasengan was inspired by it. He tried to use Flying Thunder God to save Naruto but was too weak. "Naruto, dodge!" he shouted.

But Naruto didn't move. Instead, he opened his mouth, green energy amassing within, preparing to counter with his own attack.

As both energies peaked, the Tailed Beast Bomb and Naruto's green ki blast collided, unleashing a deafening explosion.

The shockwave ravaged the forest, flattening trees like trampled grass.

Protected by Naruto's energy, Minato and Kushina, though near death, were unharmed by the blast.

They witnessed an astonishing sight: Naruto's ki blast shattered the Tailed Beast Bomb like a hammer smashing tofu, then struck the Nine-Tails, reducing it to dust.

The blast's momentum didn't stop, carving a deep, endless trench through trees and mountains.

Kushina, a former Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, confirmed it: the Nine-Tails was gone, not a trace of its chakra left.

The couple, battered and weary, watched as Naruto, now asleep, gently descended back into his swaddle. Their hearts swirled with mixed emotions.

Finally, they smiled with relief. Naruto had the power to protect himself. They could rest easy.

As Naruto slept, the green energy sustaining Minato and Kushina faded.

They crawled to his side, hands clasped, cradling him. Then, they closed their eyes forever.
