--Jana POV--
Its like any usual day, except I found myself lost in the atmosphere of the party. Drinking mindlessley, thoughts blank.
That was until the "Star" of the campus caught my eye—she's usually so composed at campus, that the thought that she drinks or smokes never crossed my mind. But those two things? she's doing them right now.
Her glasses taken off, her uniforms tie undone, this was supposed to be a school party to celebrate a new professor, wasn't it? but it almost felt like a club. I found myself walking towards her. Mikaela. The girl I never thought I'd be so smitten of.
"Hey." I say as I sit beside her, a drink in hand* "..." *Silence stretched between us, it was awkward. She didn't talk.
Her head turned to me, her usual composed self, gone. Her gaze looked hazy, probably due to the drink "What?" She finally says. I didn't know what had gotten to me that time, but somehow, we ended up on the same bed.
The next day, I woke up, my head throbbed. I opened my eyes, only to be greeted by the morning sun... And the memories of... Last night.
My face heated up at the memory, god. Seriously? a one-night-stand? worse. With the 'popular girl'. "Fuuuuuckkkk" I whispered beneath my breath, running my hand across my hair
I looked at the empty space beside me, indicating that she had left. I have afternoon classes, yet my head throbbed so much that I just wanted to skip it. Though, I knew I can't because we have a project later, that's worth almost half our grade. God, this is the worst.
I finally gathered myself and stood up, managing to take a shower, eat, brush my teeth, and do all the necessary things befor heading out to uni. Thank god the throbbing of my head subsided a while ago.
...
How... How??? Out of all the people in this room.... why HER???
"Uhm... Should we.. Start?" My partner's voice for the project shook me out of the trance I was in, I looked beside me—Mikaela, looking at me, I could feel my ears heating up at the thought of what we did last night.
I finally got my voice back, responding to her as I whip my head back infront "Yeah."
God, this is gonna be one hell of a week.
