Chapter 19 - The boy and girl of that year 1

Levi frowned in disgust when he heard this and asked:

"Where?"

"It's in the ruins where we taught them a lesson last time!"

Fran also stood up. He waved the knife in his hand and said, "These guys really don't learn their lesson. They always do these despicable things in front of us."

Isabel's fists clenched until they cracked. She jumped up and yelled, "Let's go! Let's teach them a lesson!"

However, before they reached their destination, they heard wails that were getting louder and louder.

When Levi and his group saw what had happened, they were all stunned in surprise.

"What's going on?" Levi asked this question as he looked at the people lying on the ground.

"Uh..." Fran didn't understand what was going on. How could this be different from the hero-saving-the-beauty scene they had imagined?

Levi walked to the side of these people and looked around. He squatted down to check their injuries, but was surprised to find that the size and depth of their wounds were exactly the same, with almost no difference.

It seems that the person who injured them was very professional and extremely skilled. This level of proficiency can only be trained through years of actual fighting.

Who on earth could possess such powerful strength in this walled country without letting any news leak out?

Levi looked at the man lying on the ground wailing and fell into deep thought.

After looking at everyone, Fran walked up to Levi, looked at him and shook his head.

"Not a single one died. The technique was clean and efficient. All of their tendons were severed."

"Ah, yes." Levi looked at these hooligans coldly and said uncomfortably:

"Should we say this man is soft-hearted or cruel? He didn't kill these people, but simply cut their tendons, allowing them to take care of themselves but unable to fight. This is equivalent to cutting off their chance of survival. This contradictory approach is worse than just killing them all to prevent future troubles."

Levi's feeling of discomfort and disgust became stronger. He always felt that this person would sooner or later be in big trouble because of his inappropriate behavior.

But it has nothing to do with him.

Seeing that the matter had been resolved, Levi took his men and left.

"Wow—"

Halle Rhine held a basin of water and poured it over her head. She shrank her shoulders. The water temperature was still very cold in this season.

She smelled the palm of her hand and there was still a faint smell of blood. She curled her lips and washed it several times until she could no longer smell the blood.

Harley Rhine seemed to understand why Levi had mysophobia.
