Long white hair and beard, an old-looking face, and a tired posture. Just what have I become, to think I used to be good-looking and youthful. But then, I am already 15000 years old, so it can easily be understood what is happening to me right now. I said as I glanced over the balcony of the highest building.
Below me was the kingdom that I built, the struggle, the torture that I endured during those days. Was the reincarnation that I experienced truly enjoyable? I asked myself
In the back of my mind, I still think about the experience that changed me as a person, whether for better or worse. Yet, I couldn't really bring myself to care about them, being old enough to know that what I have experienced was for the greater good of myself. I believe that, yeah, my reincarnation was indeed enjoyable.
Although I had one big regret. Not being able to ascend to immortality.
As a cultivator, everyone has the same goal. To ascend to a higher plane of existence, to reach the peak of the world. The same with everyone, that was my goal... Yet, I was someone who could not do that.

I looked to my right and saw a floating screen. The same as the screen on the phones in my past world, but this time it's like glass and no casing. It's even floating! Which is crazy!
I tried to study the technology that it consists of and could not find anything.
"You know, you're truly an unknown to me. You helped me develop myself, and after what we discovered, you in turn helped me live for a long instead. And, after I decided to help everyone, you even decided to help me."
[Well... I am a system to help you after all, it's my job to help you!]
"What do you get in return? In my past world and even in this world, there is one popular phrase... 'There's no such thing as free lunch'."
With a domineering atmosphere, I slowly walked closer to the floating screen on my right. Slowly but surely, I got closer, but the system started to float away from me to the point that I reached the edge of the balcony, and the system floated under no solid ground.
"So tell me? I have always ignored it in the past, but this time, specifically, I want to know. Is it entertainment? Or do you want my soul? Or is there a more fucked up reason that I don't know about?"

I stared at the floating screen for a minute. Looking intensively , I closed my eyes.
In the darkness where I sit with my mind, I recalled the times that I was in trouble and the system was there for me. Although it was suspicious, what I gained from this floating screen was more than what I gave to it...
With my eyes opened I said "That is true, you did help me with everything."
After hearing what I conjured from my mouth, the screen bended and released air as if it was sighing.
[Owner, in all honesty, please don't die on me okay. If you disappear I also...]
"Huh? What makes you think I would die? I am the person on top of this lower world. Although I could not ascend to the higher realms I still gained power and became the ruler!!! Kings all across the world call for me when they need help and with a swish of my hand I can make them all bow down at me! So tell me, why did you think I would die?" I said with all the arrogance I can perceive.
Processing what I just said, or more likely what I felt. The screen looked at me, even though it did not show I could feel the disgust erupting from its system.
[Owner, I feel bad for you, I am so sorry that the problem on your head is still not fixed :,(]
"Ha?! What did you say to me you system b###h"
[Nothing Owner... Nothing]
"This non flowing electric CPU of a system...! Is this how I die? Being baited with all your conversation skills to the point of rage? Till I pop a vein in my skull?"
[Owner, that I do not know. All there was given to me was this timer that tells me when-]
BANG!!! The door in the room erupted as it crashes with the wall.
As the dust settles, out comes a girl with dark black hair tied in a twin tails. Her eyes glowed red crimson like a blood moon when the time of the vampires come. And that is what she was, a vampire.
"MASTER!!!!!!! I HAVE ARRIVED" The girl said as she plunges into the old mans stomach.
"This girl! How many times have I told you to not try to kill this old man!"
"Hehehe... But master I am not trying to kill you. I am just showing my immense love!" She said as she rubs her face on the old man's stomach.
The old man on the other hand could not help but look at her with an embarrassed face. She is after all his last original disciple, different from the current disciples that he has now. Most of his original disciples, all 13 of them, has already ascended. But this girl on the other hand chose to remain far more longer.
"So what is it that you came for this time Twilight. You are about to ascend to the higher realm it is better for you to be in seclusion as of right now."
When the girl heard what his master said, she let go of his master and put her hands behind her back. She then leaned a little closer and stared directly at her masters eyes.
"I just... I wanted to spend a little bit more time with Master Shin" The girl said with a blush on her face.
Hearing it the old man named Shin couldn't help but smile.
"Perfect timing then, I was going to give it to you a little sooner but since you're already here might as well give it to you now." Shin then reached to her hand and placed something on the opposite side of her palm.
On there lie a glowing tattoo, that resembled two fangs.
"Hm? Master what is it?" Twilight said with a curious look.
"Just wait for a bit" After a while, Twilight then jumped suddenly.
"Master, this!"
"Tell me, what do you see?" Shin said with a grin
"Its... Its, a floating glowing piece of glass!!! It said here that its here to assist me!"
Upon hearing this information, the glowing screen which was only visible to Shin extorted something.
[Owner... You-!]
"That's right little Twilight, that is called a system. And this would help you grow stronger in the higher realms"
[Owner, how! How did you manage to get this sort of technology!-]
"Thank you Master! I love you so much!" Twilight exclaimed as she went on to hug Shin. On the other hand, as if purposely ignoring his system, Shin exclaimed.
"You're welcome my sweetheart. Now, ascend to a much higher level, far from what your master can think of!" Shin said excitedly. But what he got was something different from what he expected.
"..."
"Twilight?"
"..."
"Are you not excited to ascend?"
"..."
"Hello?"
"Hey, Master. Can I get a little favor" Twilight said with a gloom of the night and dark aura exiting her body.
"Ah, yes sure! Whatever you need." Shin said, scared.
"Can I... Get a little bit of blood. Like the old times sake." She said as she glares into the eyes of Shin. Her once crimson red eyes turned dark red like the color of blood. Inside those scary eyes is a silhouette of a shape, like that of a heart.
"Sure? AH!" In a blink of an eye, the two of them somehow ended up on a bed. "I don't think it's needed for us to be in the bed-"
Like an assassin, Twilight swiftly bared her fangs into Shin's neck
"Master~ Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Like a lullaby, Shin slowly drifted into another realm, a realm of the night. But his consciousness is still trying to fight back.
With eyes blurred, he saw the form of his disciple and a glowing screen. His disciple ripping off all his clothes and the screen was shaking frantically.
"You know Master, I communicated with the elder sisters during seclusion... Turns out, they found a way to come back to the lower realms... you know how I felt? I HATED IT.
