When Jaehyuk woke up he was immediately hit with a sharp pain. His head throbbed and his body ached.
He looked around at his surroundings and saw that he was now laying inside of a hospital bed, and his head had bandages along with his right arm being wrapped in bandages.
He groaned and sat back, as if on cue the door opened and in came a doctor.
"Ah, you're awake. How're you feeling?"
The woman asked, pushing her loose hair behind her ear as she wrote something.
"I'm fine.. hey nurse, what about the young man I was with? Where is he?"
Shaking her head and sighing as if she had already expected the question, she spoke with a knowing look.
"You just woke up and you're in no position to be worrying about others."
She turned her back to him and walked towards the door. Jaehyuk felt anxious and guilty but before he could speak again, the nurse had already opened the door.
"I would tell you to rest, but I get the feeling that you won't do that even if I ordered it. Besides, you've got company."
As soon as she finished her sentence, 3 people entered the room slowly, and the nurse left after telling them that they only have a few minutes.
Into the room came the senior, the bandages around his head and chest visible and yet he still bore his usual handsome and bright expression.
Besides him, a slightly shorter young man, the makane, and the only one that wasn't injured among the group. His expression a mix of concern, worry, and relief all at once.
Lastly, the tall young man, now that Jaehyuk was closer he could really tell how tall the man was.
At least 190cm which was a few inches taller than Jaehyuk and Keith who were 183cm and 187cm respectively.
The young man was also the most visibly injured, his face was covered in bandages and bandaids, his arms were both in casts and he looked exhausted.
Despite that, he stood here with an expression somewhere between indifference and quiet relief.
Seeing the three men standing in his room in decently good shape despite everything that's happened made Jaehyuk feel like a weight had been lifted off of his shoulders.
"Everyone.. you came."
The words he spoke made him smile faintly. He couldn't save everyone, but he was happy that he had at least managed to save 3 people and that those who were saved are both safe and here with him.
"Yes, but unfortunately we have no time to relax."
Keith spoke hesitantly yet firmly, lightly scratching his cheek as he looked away.
Sighing, the makane sat down and nodded in agreement.
"We need to talk..about what happened. Because something is telling me that it was only the beginning."
Jaehyuk looked at the taller young man and his expression was serious, telling Jaehyuk that the slight nagging feeling he had felt in his stomach was right. It, whatever it is.. it wasn't over.

Okay everyone! I'm late uploading this chapter. Things have been really busy and hectic for a while now and I've been trying to do my best to write, especially after coming out of a small writer's block.
