Though he bought couldron in the first hand store after hearing the words of seniors about the potion professor being a sadistic person who enjoyed bullying his students. Though he don't know if it's true or not, many seniors told him about Severus Snape and the students of slytherin, the disgust and wariness is evident in their tone.
So Kevin decided to buy a new couldron for now. As for pet, he doesn't have much money left to buy one. He needs to buy a wand too. Kevin is carrying everything while McGonagall said," took you long enough, and I see you bought some second hands things too. The money is enough to buy first hand ones though ", Kevin said," yes, but the ones i bought from second store are as good as new and not that important after first year, so, i decided why not save money for future ".
