Chapter 8 - CHAPTER 8: apology

He shouldn't have brought this daughter into his life in the first place!

It was like he was shooting himself in the foot, creating trouble for himself!

Sabrina Anderson gently rubbed his back, trying to calm him down. "Sir, Ella has always been well-behaved and sensible. Perhaps she's just upset about something today. By tomorrow morning, she might be back to normal."

Dalton snapped, "What could she possibly be upset about? She was with the Anderson family's young master yesterday, and now she's involved with Lennox! She seems to be living quite the carefree life! If she doesn't apologize to the Lee family by tomorrow, I want her out of this house immediately! I won't keep her here any longer!"

Dalton Grant fell silent, the earlier intensity of his anger gradually fading away.

"Ella hasn't had a father for over ten years. It's understandable that she hasn't been taught some things. You can discipline her however you want, but you need to make sure she understands where she went wrong. Otherwise, she'll just think you don't know how to raise a child!"

"Let's leave it at that for today! It's late, and there's no point in lingering here. Everyone should go home and get some sleep!"

With that, Grandma got up and headed back inside. Dalton glanced at Sabrina Anderson and Stella Grant, letting out a frustrated sigh. "What a mess!"

Tomorrow morning, he would make sure to drag her to the Lee Family to apologize, no matter what!

The next morning, there was a rapid knocking on Ella Grant's door.

Ella, propped up against the window sill, quickly leaped down with agility.

Apologize to the Lee Family? In he dreams!

The white silk curtains billowed in the morning breeze, leaving the empty bedroom devoid of any trace of her.

When Dalton finally opened the door and saw the wide-open window, his expression darkened to the point where it could have dripped ink...
