"Mr. Noro."
As the Tengu Serpent appeared in the sky above Wano's port, King immediately flapped his wings to greet him.
"Mm."
Noro looked down at the entirety of Wano, saying faintly, "Kaido isn't in Wano?"
King nodded. "Yes, Mr. Kaido has gone out to recruit troops."
Noro wasn't surprised. With Kaido's personality, it would be strange if he could stay quietly in Wano.
"It's nothing. You're busy, I'll go first," Noro said, flapping his wings and flying towards Udon.
"Yes, Mr. Noro."
King watched Noro leave, returning to Ringo only after he could no longer see the Tengu Serpent's figure.
Noro flew all the way to his mansion in Udon, the mansion built near the quarry.
Every morning, opening the window, through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, he could see the hardworking Wano miners already hauling ore.
Putting Stussy down, Stussy also opened the door, and Olvia walked out of it.
Noro waved his hand. "Stussy, take Olvia to familiarize herself with the environment, and then let her choose a room for herself."
"That… shouldn't we go see the captain first?" Olvia asked in a low voice.
"The captain isn't here. We'll talk about it when he gets back," Noro said, turning to leave.
Stussy smiled. "Let's go."
"Oh, coming,"
Noro came to the quarry, taking the whip handed over by a crew member, casually whipping it towards a miner.
"Ah—"
Listening to the painful wails, Noro squinted his eyes enjoyably.
As expected, there was no joy in this world that could compare to torturing the people of Wano.
Noro whipped to his heart's content, the entire quarry filled with wails.
After venting, Noro returned home contentedly.
Olvia looked at Noro with a strong look of fear, asking timidly, "Why do you treat those miners like that?"
Since the mansion was next to the quarry, she had seen the scene of Noro whipping the miners.
Even after Noro left, those Beasts Pirates members were still whipping them non-stop.
She didn't understand why the Beasts Pirates treated the miners this way.
Noro, of course, knew that Olvia was watching, but he didn't care.
This woman could accept it or not. If she couldn't accept it, then they weren't on the same path.
Noro sneered. "Because they're atoning for their sins."
"Atoning for their sins?" Olvia repeated in a murmur.
Noro didn't want to tell Olvia why he hated this race so much, only repeating the evaluation of this race by his ancestors:
"There's no need to pity them. The people of this race know small courtesies but lack great righteousness, reject small virtues but lack great morality, value trivial matters but despise integrity, fear power but don't cherish kindness, strong they must be bandits, weak they must be servile."
"Their hearts are sinister, they cannot be trusted!"
After speaking, Noro patted Olvia's shoulder, turning and leaving, leaving her alone in place, lost in thought.
After a long time, Olvia laughed self-deprecatingly.
Why was she pitying them? There were thousands of pirates in the world, and they were all generally like this.
She had joined the Beasts Pirates to uncover the history of the Void Century, not to save all living beings.
Besides, people who were so hated by Noro couldn't be good people.
Kaido returned not long after, but Noro was a little dumbfounded. "Why did you bring back so many people?!"
At the port, every ship was filled with dense crowds of people. Under the command of the Beasts Pirates, they disembarked in order. Noro roughly estimated that there must be twenty thousand people.
Kaido laughed proudly. "Wororororo… Didn't you say the more the better, Noro?"
Noro had indeed said that. Anyway, Wano couldn't withstand his consumption, so there had to be other people to fill it.
He was just a little surprised that Kaido had brought back so many people at once.
Had he robbed them?
Kaido looked at the figure hiding behind Noro, raising an eyebrow. "I heard you brought back a historian?"
"Mm," Noro nodded, pushing Olvia, who was hiding behind him, forward.
"Let me introduce you. This is our Beasts Pirates' captain, Kaido. This is the historian, Olvia."
Olvia was indeed a little afraid of Kaido. His tall figure of nearly seven meters, his rough and unrestrained appearance, just hearing his loud laughter made her heart tremble.
Kaido lowered his eyes, looking at the timid little girl, finding it interesting.
Where had Noro abducted such a scholar from?
Olvia mustered her courage, bowing deeply to Kaido. "Captain Kaido, hello. My name is Olvia. Please guide me!"
Kaido laughed even more heartily, laughing boisterously. "Wororororo… What a polite little girl."
"In the future, just work hard in our Beasts Pirates. If you have any needs, just ask."
Olvia nodded busily. "Thank you, Captain!"
Kaido suddenly shouted at Noro, "Hey, Noro."
Noro smiled, nodding. "I know, let's have a feast!"
"Wororororo…"
King and all the captains stationed in the various regions were called to the Flower Capital by Kaido, holding a grand banquet to welcome Olvia's joining.
Noro had basically killed all of Wano's combat power. Even without the captains suppressing them, Wano couldn't stir up any waves.
And they hadn't seen a banquet for a long time. This time, with Olvia's joining as an excuse, Kaido wouldn't let this opportunity pass.
A huge bonfire was lit in the Flower Capital, the Beasts Pirates falling into a long-lost revelry.
Olvia also met all the main executives of the Beasts Pirates at this banquet.
After settling the people Kaido had brought back in the various regions, Noro also went out to sea to recruit, bringing back some people along the way.
The area near Wano wasn't like that winter island, Baltigo. There were many countries and islands.
Then he knew why Kaido could bring back so many people on one trip.
It could only be said that human life was as cheap as grass in troubled times.
Someone would be willing to sell their lives for you for just a piece of bread thrown on the side of the road.
The Beasts Pirates also accepted everyone.
They had plenty of money, they could afford to feed them.
The people they brought back were selected. Those with strong physical qualities first went to Matty Tao's place for a period of political lessons, then were assigned to the various army commanders for training.
Those who were too weak to serve as soldiers were also divided into various places, allocating land for them to cultivate.
Time flew by, and before they knew it, it was the Sea Calendar year 1491.
After a year of development, the Beasts Pirates' forces had reached a terrifying thirty thousand people.
This was just the pirate crew, not including the police forces in various places.
Then, it was time to go on an expedition to Zou.
But…
Before the expedition, Noro would let the entire Wano…
Perish! Clan! Extinct!
"Someone!"
"Myo-o, what are your orders?"
"Pass down the order to the entire country, castrate all the men of the Wano race."
"Myo-o, all… all of them?"
"It is indeed a bit too cruel. Then execute those taller than the wheels."
"Yes, Myo-o, this subordinate will pass down the order."
"Wait."
"Myo-o, what do you say?"
"Put the wheels flat!"
