Chapter 2 - Chapter 02

This dilemma was now seriously worrying me. In the original story, Harry never even managed to read the letter, resulting in more letters arriving with each passing day, to the point where hundreds of letters literally started raining down on the Dursleys' house, and Vernon decided to move out.

Just then, Hagrid arrived, breaking into everything and doing the whole "You're a wizard, Harry" thing.

But now Hagrid or anyone else won't be coming. Or maybe they will?

Did Hogwarts have some sort of letter-reading verification spell or something? If so, was there any chance anyone would still be coming now that I'd read the letter?

This kind of situation makes me wish I'd been reincarnated as a Muggle-born.

I let out a resigned sigh.

I guess there's no point in dwelling on it now. Even if no one comes, I have an idea of how I can get to Diagon Alley and, from there, maybe find some way to send a letter to someone on the faculty, while also buying my wand and school supplies.

The important thing is to get to Diagon Alley; from there, I can solve my current problems.

Although getting there is a bit tricky, since I don't know the exact address, if it's mentioned at any point in the books or films, I don't recall.

And I imagine that Googling "Diagon Alley" won't give me the location.

I blinked as a realization dawned on me.

It's 1991; I don't think Google even existed back then. And the internet wasn't even very accessible back then.

Damn it!

This means I won't be able to watch memes or anime for a good few years!

Fuck!

Anyway! Stop with the panic attacks!

Focus!

Okay, Diagon Alley.

There's the next-door neighbor, Mrs. Figg, or something. I remember she's a Squib, but she's also basically here at Dumbledore's behest to keep an eye on me. And aside from all the suspicions I've read about the Dark Lord Dumbledore in many stories, in the original story, it's well known that Dumbledore didn't exactly have Harry's best interests at heart. In the final book, Snape says that Dumbledore raised him like a pig ready for slaughter, and the old man didn't even deny it, instead ironically pointing out that after all this time, Snape started to care about Harry.

This is apparently an alternate world, of course, but until I draw my own conclusions, I'll be cautious around the most powerful wizard of this era, for now at least.

So, I'll go with the safest and least suspicious route I can think of: Petunia.

She had already gone to Diagon Alley as a child to accompany Lily buying her wand and school supplies. Maybe she still knows where the Leaky Cauldron is.

And from there, I can ask someone to open the entrance to the Alley.

Her suspicion of how I know about the existence of magic isn't a problem; the letter wasn't destroyed this time. And I don't need to say the exact name, Diagon Alley, just that I want her to tell me where I can buy all these supplies.

The problem is the dense mass of a black hole called Vernon Dursley. I'm 100% sure he'll turn into a beetroot with a mustache as soon as I say the M-word.

So, before I can confront my dear aunt, I need to become stronger so I can defend myself from any adversity that may arise in this happy interaction.

And my path is clear: Magic.

Eventually, of course, I'd like to break rocks and mountains with my fists or with sword slashes.

But Magic will always be my primary strength if I dedicate myself to it.

And I have until July 31st—today is July 24th—I won't be able to surpass Vernon in terms of sheer brute physical strength by then.

So I need to start trying to explore some magic now, make the most of all the time I have.

Okay, first things first. I don't have a wand. But wandless magic isn't impossible in the original story, and I have a system; anything is possible for me.

I can't believe I'm telling myself this, but I need to clear my mind, focus inward, and find a connection to my magic.

I can already tell it's going to be hard; I can't take this Chinese bullshit seriously.

But that's all I have to work with.

I carefully placed the folded Hogwarts letter in the safest, least dirty corner possible and began searching for a more comfortable and relaxing position. I ended up sitting cross-legged on the crappy mattress, my hands resting on my knees.

I closed my eyes as I steadied my breathing into a controlled rhythm.

I tried not to force anything or get nervous, just trying to clear my mind, pushing intrusive thoughts aside.

After a few minutes of meditating, trying to find some hint of my magic, I heard a ping, instantly interrupting my concentration.

My eyes widened in anxiety and confusion; I hadn't felt any sensation or anything that indicated I'd managed to "touch" my magic.

Γ Skill Acquired! ᒧ

Γ Meditation (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 1 - Cost: N/A

Meditation allows you to enter a deep state of concentration, calming and slowing down your body and mind.

Increases MP Regeneration by 2% while the skill is active..

Increases concentration on non-physical activities by 5%.

I have to say, I love systems. It's so broken.

Now that I've learned meditation as a skill registered by the system, I can forcefully activate it and instantly enter a meditative state. Of course, if there's an interruption like an intrusive thought or something external, I'll end up leaving the meditative state. But my mind will already be forcibly cleared and my inner concentration increased by activating the skill; I just need to not let the state be interrupted.

Not to mention, the skill will help me "touch" my magic faster with its concentration-boosting effect on non-physical activities. And this effect will only increase the more I practice meditation.

Letting out a sigh and relaxing my shoulders, I activated the skill, reestablishing my focused concentration.

...

...

...

It took a while, maybe four hours? There were times when I slipped out of the meditative state and had to re-enter it. It took a while to get the hang of letting my mind go blank.

Intrusive thoughts are quite common for me, with frequent inner monologues.

But after a while, I got the hang of it.

I was able to perceive things in my body that I couldn't before, at least not easily, like my heartbeat, without placing my hand on my chest, of course. Sound the drums of liberation!

Anyway.

But I could also feel the air filling my lungs, the oxygen nourishing my cells, the blood coursing through my veins.

I began to gain a deeper understanding of how my own body works. Feeling how it works.

Reading about how the heart pumps blood to every part of your body is one thing. Feeling it is another.

A little disgusting, to be honest.

Maybe this is what Chinese kung fu tales say about knowing yourself through meditation?

But either way, I achieved my first goal.

Γ Skill Acquired! ᒧ

Γ Mana Control (Passive) ᒧ - Level 1 - Cost: N/A

Through inner self-awareness, you have successfully connected with your magical energy independently, without the need for a focusing tool to force a connection with your magic.

Decreases the cost of mana-using skills by 0.5%.

Increases the effect of mana-using skills by 1.5%.

Increases the leveling speed of mana-using skills by 3%.

Increases the learning speed of mana-using skills by 4%.

The feeling of connecting with my magic was unlike anything I'd ever felt.

Or maybe not, but not to this extent.

It was a feeling of extreme euphoria; I felt incredibly good, energized, and complete. That whole "the air seemed lighter, the colors more vivid, and even the sounds around me vibrated differently" thing.

Basically, the same feeling you get when snorting cocaine.

Leaving the feeling of enlightenment aside, I noticed that this warmth seemed to emerge from the center of my chest, almost in the same place as my heart, but not quite there; I just felt it from there.

It seems that magic in its natural form doesn't exist exactly physically in the world, but in a spiritual sense. It's hard to put it into words, but if we perceive the world in a three-dimensional way, magic inhabits the world in a four-dimensional way. A place that's not normally possible to glimpse, but for a brief moment, I could feel it.

It was a little... overwhelming? I don't know, but it was definitely an intense sensation.

But well, being able to access my magic already makes me very happy.

One step taken, dozens more ahead.

Stretching my body and rolling my neck, I let out a grunt of satisfaction as I heard the soft cracks. My body, which had been a little tense, relaxed.

Standing in the same position for hours isn't exactly pleasant. Because of the meditative state, I haven't noticed any tension until now.

Okay, with the Mana Control skill learned, I'm now constantly aware of the sensation of my magic. It's not as overwhelming as the first time; it was like Gon and Killua when they learned Nen. Their Nen pores were opened so they could sense and use their Aura. They also felt an overwhelming feeling at that moment, but they soon got used to the weight of their Aura.

Now, my magic is a subtle, background sensation in the center of my chest. It doesn't force my full attention, but it's there, and I can use it.

And as a bonus, with this little training, I got other things besides the Mana Control skill.

Γ Status Increase Notification: Through practicing mental concentration, your Intelligence increases by +3! ᒧ

Γ Status Increase Notification: Through direct connection with your magic, your Mana increases by +5! ᒧ

Γ By connecting with your magic, deeply and directly, without the need for a focusing tool. The multiplication of your total mana pool with your Mana attribute increases from x50 to x75! ᒧ

Γ Skill Leveled! ᒧ

Γ Meditation (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 17 - Cost: N/A

Increases MP Regeneration by 34% while the skill is active.

Increases concentration on non-physical activities by 85%.

Sweet. Seeing these numbers go up is a great motivator to keep improving. I wonder what the world would be like if everyone had a status screen that monitored their progress.

The feeling of my magic increasing is also really good. Like eating or drinking when you didn't realize you were a little hungry or thirsty.

MP: 1500/1500

I don't know how this compares to a Voldemort or a Dumbledore, but since being reincarnated here, my magic has effectively doubled, so I pat myself on the back for that.

And it's good to know that my reasoning about increasing stats through training and not just by fucking is valid.

Now, I need to create another skill.

In one of my intrusive thoughts that was interrupting my meditative state, a skill came to mind.

The Mana Control skill is simple, but very powerful if leveled up, and has many awesome useful buffs. One of them is an increase in skill learning. And I imagine this combines with the Intelligence attribute, which also provides this bonus increase.

Sitting back in the comfortable, relaxed position I had while practicing meditation, I crossed my legs, rested my hands on my knees, and entered my meditative state again.

At this point, with the Meditation skill at level 17, I could manage my slips in the meditative state well; even some mental noises didn't interfere too much.

In the heightened meditative focus state, the subtle sensation of my magic was now primary, occupying one of my primary senses. This made it easier to manipulate.

I began to instill my magic throughout my body, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, coursing through every limb, every vein.

My mana slipped away a few times; my control over it is still very weak.

But the internal self-awareness of my body that I was gaining from meditation helped, along with the concentration buff.

Soon, I was able to make my mana cover and fill my entire body.

But this wasn't really doing anything; one thing was missing.

Intention.

My mana was just fuel; I needed to give it a purpose.

Reinforcement. Increased muscle density and skin resistance. Using mana for a bonus effect on physical power.

I was basically trying to do something like Reinforcement from the Fate series, applying it to my body to increase my physical attributes.

Some would say I might be foolish to try this, that I might make a mistake that would harm my body.

But this is my Mana; it's already connected to me; nourishing and strengthening my body with it could hardly have any negative effects. Besides, the main reason I wanted to try this already, was the adaptability of Gamer's Body. While it doesn't make me some kind of Mahoraga, adaptability is a powerful, broad concept.

A soft ping sounded in my mind, along with a force coursing through my body, like a sudden surge of adrenaline, making me want to clench my fists.

Opening my eyes, I immediately noticed a faint, soft greenish light emanating from my body.

There was a certain vibration in the air around me, like a kind of static electricity. On my arms, there were subtle lines of energy, taking on geometric patterns, like glowing circuits in a shade of emerald green. I could see that these circuit lines ran my entire body, evidenced by the muffled glow beneath my clothes.

I wasn't expecting this, but it even took on the physical appearance of the Reinforcement from the Fate series!

Raising my arm to face level, I stared in awe at the soft glow of the circuit lines running through my limb, before clenching my fist and tensing my arm as a gigantic grin spread across my face.

Magic, damn it! HAHAHAHA! I was using fucking magic!

I want to punch something! Where's that fat son of a bitch?!

It took me a few minutes to force myself out of the power-drunk state.

But this was truly incredible, and I really hope this isn't all just a crazy dream.

Turning off the skill, the feeling of added power faded, my mana returning to its standby state.

Then I glanced at the notification screens that appeared before me.

Γ Skill Acquired! ᒧ

Γ Body Reinforcement (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 1 - Cost: 300 MP/Min

You can channel your magic throughout your body, increasing and enhancing your physical capabilities.

Temporarily increases Strength, Speed, and Endurance by 3% while the skill is active.

Permanent passive increase in Strength, Speed, and Endurance by 1%.

Γ Skill Leveled! ᒧ

Γ Meditation (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 19 - Cost: N/A

Increases MP Regeneration by 38% while the skill is active..

Increases concentration on non-physical activities by 95%.

Γ Mana Control (Passive) ᒧ - Level 3 - Cost: N/A

Decreases the cost of mana-using skills by 1.5%.

Increases the effect of mana-using skills by 4,5%.

Increases the leveling speed of mana-using skills by 9%.

Increases the learning speed of mana-using skills by 12%.

Γ Status Increase Notification: By exercising your magical energy, your Mana increases by +2! ᒧ

My eyebrows rose slightly in surprise.

Permanent passive increase? I wasn't expecting that, just the temporary buff.

But I won't complain, no sir; this is a skill with high priority for leveling. At level 100, my physical attributes will effectively be doubled permanently.

A bit expensive, though. But with my current total mana, which is 1650, I regenerate 165 mana per minute. So the cost while Reinforcement is active is 135 mana per minute. Which gives me roughly 12 minutes of use before my MP runs out.

One of the buffs to my Mana Control skill is the MP cost reduction for mana-using skills. Currently, this reduction is 1.5%, not even worth considering for now. However, at level 100, this reduction will be 50%, half the cost.

Besides that, the more total mana I have, the higher my mana regeneration per minute will be.

But, as my skills level up, the cost may also increase. For a skill that will have a stronger effect, it doesn't make much sense to reduce its cost as well, since, in theory, the amount of "fuel" needed to fuel this power increase would also be increased.

Glancing at the clock in the corner of the cupboard, I saw it was approaching noon.

The walking walrus will surely be here soon, pestering me to make some food because he's so hungry. So I stretched again, left the cupboard, saw that no one was in the kitchen, and went to make some food.

The good thing about cooking without anyone around is that I can sneak a little extra food and then eat the "normal" amount I should eat in front of them.

Γ Skill Leveled! ᒧ

Γ Cooking (Passive) ᒧ - Level 3 - Cost: N/A

Increases the effect of food by 9%.

Good.

While cooking, I thought that since now I don't need as much focus to remain in the meditative state, I could use the concentration boost to train Reinforcement, also taking advantage of the MP regeneration boost. With it, my MP regeneration would be around 230 MP per minute, and thus, I would have a little over 20 minutes of total Reinforcement use before my MP ran out.

It says that the concentration boost is only for non-physical activities, and simply leaving Reinforcement on isn't a physical activity, but a mental one.

This way, the skill will probably level up even faster. Maybe not as fast as it would when using it during physical exertion, but it's the safest way to train this skill without pissing off the walrus.

So, after gorging myself on the food I ate in secret and the meager portion they set out for me, I went back to the cupboard to train some more.

Harry had already done the house cleaning and gardening yesterday before I took over. It was already summer break, so I had free time today to do whatever I wanted.

This thought made me blink, and my steps faltered as I walked back to the cupboard.

Thinking about it now, I kind of took over someone else's body, didn't I?

I frowned as the fact sank in.

Then I pressed my lips into a thin line.

I suppose it's not exactly my fault; it was the fault of the god who reincarnated me here. And dwelling on it now won't change anything. The most I can do for the previous Harry is live the best life I can now, as him.

...

...

...

Γ Skill Leveled! ᒧ

Γ Meditation (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 24 - Cost: N/A

Increases MP Regeneration by 48%.

Increases concentration on non-physical activities by 120%.

Γ Mana Control (Passive) ᒧ - Level 10 - Cost: N/A

Decreases the cost of mana-using skills by 5%.

Increases the effect of mana-using skills by 15%.

Increases the leveling speed of mana-using skills by 30%.

Increases the learning speed of mana-using skills by 40%.

Γ Body Reinforcement (Active/Passive) ᒧ - Level 14 - Cost: 350 MP/Min

Temporarily increases Strength, Speed, and Endurance by 42% while the skill is active.

Permanent passive increase in Strength, Speed, and Endurance by 14%.

Γ Status Increase Notification: Through practicing mental concentration, your Intelligence increases by +2! ᒧ

Γ Status Increase Notification: By exercising your magical energy, your Mana increases by +3! ᒧ

A good increase, considering it was only an hour of grinding. The leveling speed buffs are having a great effect, and it seems like the more I spend and regenerate mana, the more it grows.

And as I suspected, Reinforcement actually increased in cost after hitting the level 10 mark.

I planned to grind for another four hours until I felt the need to go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, or eat something.

But-

*Ding Dong*

"Boy! Go answer the door!" Vernon shouted from the living room, despite being only a few feet from the damn door.

Sighing, I grabbed the Hogwarts letter, hiding it in my back pocket with my oversized clothes, walked out of the cupboard, and went to open the door to see who it was.

Upon opening it, old-fashioned emerald green robes were revealed. Wearing them was an aged-looking woman, tall and stiff-backed, wearing square glasses and a pointy hat tilted to the side.

Γ Skill Acquired! ᒧ

Γ Observe (Active) ᒧ - Level 1 - Cost: 100 MP

Reveals information about the skill's target.

Increasing the skill level unlocks more information about the target.

Later, I would complain about how it took forever to get this. Now I was just surprised looking at Minerva McGonagall, a look that the tall old lady shared looking at me, who suddenly appeared at the door of the house where I lived.

Well, I guess the plan to intimidate Petunia went down the drain.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

==|| Minerva McGonagall ||==

She couldn't help but freeze in thought as she stared at the boy who had answered the door.

Emerald green, the same color as the robes she liked to wear, a color she'd adopted for her own clothes so she'd never forget her sweet student. The same emerald green that stared at her in amazement, she vividly remembered shining beautifully with excitement when Lily learned new spells.

Minerva felt her eyes grow slightly misty despite her glasses.

And besides, something she noticed immediately, further increasing her worry and inner fury.

Small.

The lad was too small for a 16-year-old.

She herself was tall for her gender, standing at almost 180cm.

Harry looked to be somewhere around 160cm.

She clenched her fists behind her back, not letting her anger show on her face.

"Good afternoon, young man, I presume you're Harry Potter?" She said in what she hoped was a soft, pleasant tone.

The young man nodded in agreement. "Yes ma'am, and I'm sorry, but who are you?"

She gave him a friendly smile.

"My name is Minerva McGonagall, and I was your parents' teacher when they were at school. May I come in?" She introduced herself, barely suppressing the urge to hug the boy, and barely suppressing the urge to hex the Dursleys for his condition.

After his height, the other thing she noticed was his clothes. They were barely more than rags twice his size.

"Uh, sure, okay. Come in." Harry stepped back, allowing her to enter.

She would have to teach him later not to trust everyone who claimed to know or be friends with his parents. Many in the wizarding world, especially the Death Eaters who weren't arrested after the fall of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, would come after him for revenge.

Entering the house, she went straight to the living room, looking for Harry's so-called "guardians."

There, she found an obese man sitting in a leather armchair, watching the boxes that played images that Muggles called television. Lily had shared some things about the Muggle world with her.

Upon seeing her, the man's face turned a hideous purple.

"You!" he bellowed, standing up. "Get out! Get out now! We don't want any of your abnormal kind in this house!" He turned more purple with each word he uttered, pointing a fat, insulting finger at her.

Minerva drew her wand and gently pointed it at Vernon Dursley. Contrary to her own will, she wasn't going to hex him; it was merely a threat to calm the man's anger.

"I suggest you be more polite, Mr. Dursley. I see Harry's politeness is not your doing," she said softly, unable to hold back the subtle insult.

The man's expression would have been amusing in a different situation, from a pale white of fear at the sight of her wand to a deeper shade of purple again, a prominent vein at his temple, the fat on his face trembling with anger.

"Well, ma'am," he growled, practically spitting. "You're in my house, I suggest you don't bring your weirdness here."

She pressed her lips into a thin line, a common habit when angry.

"I came to pay Harry a long-overdue visit. It was recorded that he received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts today. I came to accompany him to buy his school supplies. And I'm... concerned, about his living conditions." she said slowly, holding back the urge to say more to the man.

The man's head snapped so quickly to Harry, who had entered the room and remained silently near her during her interaction with his uncle, that a part of her was upset he hadn't broken his nonexistent neck.

"What is she talking about, boy? What letter?" he growled.

She unconsciously shifted protectively closer to Harry as she saw the man's anger directed at him.

His intense anger at her presence and magic, the apparent lack of showing the letter to his relatives, were painting a picture in Minerva's mind, one she did not like one bit.

"The letter—" She said in Harry's place. "Which you should have told him would arrive when he was old enough to go to Hogwarts. You told him, right?" She was practically daring him to deny it.

His lack of response, his face still showing anger, was an answer enough to her question, infuriating her fiercely.

"Why are you here?!" A voice sounded, its tone higher and shrill.

Petunia came down the stairs, her face pale and panicked.

"Why am I here?!" She repeated, her tone ironic and angry, her voice becoming harsher. "A better question, Petunia. From my conversation with your husband, why did you apparently tell Harry nothing about Hogwarts?!"

"We swore to put an end to this nonsense when we accepted him! This... This... weirdness! Abnormality!" Vernon growled.

She admitted that their ability to irritate her was incredible.

"Well, unfortunately for you, and fortunately for Harry, you have no word in this matter. Harry will be taught at Hogwarts, will learn the intricacies of magic, and will become a fully-fledged wizard, and there is nothing you can do about it." Minerva replied with finality.

"So you knew?" came Harry's voice from beside her. "You knew all this time about magic, about Hogwarts? And you never told me?"

"Of course, we knew," Petunia said dismissively. "How could we not? With my perfect sister, being who she was?"

She continued her speech, looking as if she wished she had said those words a long time ago.

"Our parents were so ecstatic and proud when she got the letter. 'We have a witch in the family! Isn't that wonderful?' they said. Only I saw her for the freak she was!"

"Then she married that Potter and had you. And I knew you'd be just like them, just as weird and abnormal. And then she goes and does us the favor of blowing herself up, leaving us stuck with you!"

"Blowing up?" Harry repeated in surprise, which made Minerva look abruptly at him. "You told me my parents died in a car crash!"

Minerva's mind stopped, the blood in her veins freezing.

"A car crash?!" she yelled, her voice rising to a level she rarely did. "A car crash?! Killed Lily and James Potter?! Have you no shame?! How can you say such a thing?! So he knows literally nothing?! Not even about his own parents?!"

It had been a long, long time since Minerva had felt such anger, such indignation.

His guardians, his own relatives, his mother's sister! Lied about his parents' deaths?! She hid who he was and his nature from him for over a decade?!

"I knew you could be scum, but I didn't know how bad it was. You should be ashamed, Petunia. You know that if things were reversed, Lily would never treat your son that way!"

Minerva wasn't a violent person, but she'd never felt as much like slapping someone as she did Petunia at that moment. But she preferred not to get her hands dirty.

"The Hogwarts student register contains precise information about their living arrangements," she said, bringing up one of the things that had infuriated her most upon discovering it.

"'The Cupboard under the Stairs' is what's written where his room should be in the house." Her voice shook with rage, her fists clenched, her fingers itching for her wand.

"A cupboard, Petunia?! A cupboard! How dare you?! Magic or not magic, your nephew or not, it shouldn't matter! It doesn't justify this kind of thing at all! What kind of person treats a child like this?! Isn't Harry the age of your own son?!" She spat out the words that had been running through her mind the moment she saw the register.

She should never have trusted Dumbledore with the decision about Harry's future, should never have followed his lead.

"We didn't want him!" Petunia shouted back.

Minerva's teeth clenched in anger.

Despite everything, leaving them with only one letter was a terrible decision on Dumbledore's part.

Indeed, what if they didn't want him?

Dumbledore was a great believer in empathy. And Minerva didn't think Petunia would be so petty, but she hadn't thought straight since the war.

But she made the mistake of accepting Dumbledore's suggestion. A fool, that was her.

She won't make the same mistake again, ritualistic protections be damned. Minerva believes Lily wouldn't be upset with her for taking Harry out of this circle of hell.

"Harry," she said gently, turning to look at him, seeing his expression somewhat blank, but still showing shock. She imagined he was a bit numb from the revelations suddenly thrust upon him.

"Go get your things, okay? We're leaving."

"Uh... I—well, I don't really have anything other than what I'm wearing or what they give me." Harry replied, stuttering a bit, his expression slightly embarrassed.

Minerva pressed her lips together in a thin line.

She really wanted to curse them.

"Okay, then, let's go, dear. If you want, of course." she asked, holding out her hand, already knowing the answer.

"I do." Harry replied audibly, grabbing the offered hand.

She turned to the Durlseys, still frozen, their expressions ranging from anger to fear.

"Goodbye." she spat, wishing say another thing.

And then, with practiced ease, she focused on a specific location in her mind and summoned her magic with intent. The next second, with a small, almost inaudible click, Harry and Minerva disappeared from the Durleys' living room.

AN: What did you think? I think a lot is missing, more things I could have included, or something that was missing, I don't know.

Personally, I think I'm really bad with character interactions.

And there were a lot of system screens. But I'm warning you, the story has a SYSTEM tag, which means the SYSTEM is a constant in the story. I feel upset when I read system stories where the system rarely appears; I like systems.

You can already see that Harry is evolving very quickly, and it's on purpose; he'll be OP in this story relatively early. My MC is someone who knows what he has and what he can do with it. He won't wait until someone more powerful arrives and defeats him, so he realizes he needs to get stronger.

Fate's Reinforcement is almost literally the same, and the reason is that the adaptation of the Gamer's Body works in this sense as well. Almost like an essence of the Archmage, Harry will learn things in the future that wizards in this world cannot.

He may seem a bit whiny at first, but that will change as he gains more power and thus confidence.

Well, that's it, these 2 chapters come out very early, because it's weekend, and I'm off, so the next one will probably only come out next weekend, because I have work and I need to farm my money to live.
