That Sunday, Alexander cleared his schedule again. He wanted to accompany Nathan. But the boy seemed to be doing everything he could to drive him away.
Seeing that he was still weak, Alexander let it be but monitored his every move and everything he was given. He also had to postpone taking the boy for a walk.
"We'll go for a walk next Sunday. I hope you'll be better tomorrow. If not, you'd better stay home. I'll send a note to the school for you," said Alexander.
Nathan sat with a pillow behind his back. "I'm fine, thanks. I'm not going anywhere without Louis."
Alexander sighed again. "Listen to me, Nathan. Louis is not here anymore, and you have to accept whoever replaces him. Or do you want someone else? You want Jack? Steven?"
Nathan still looked annoyed. "I don't want anyone else! If you want me to have a bodyguard, it's only Louis."
"Nathan, please. Don't be difficult."
Nathan glared at Alexander. "You're the one being difficult."
