Lynn's smile slowly faded after Arya disappeared down the corridor, until it vanished completely.

He returned to his room, closed the door, and was left alone.

With the longsword resting across his lap.

"When I grow up, I'm going to marry you."

Marry him?

Lynn clenched his fist.

Just living like this was far from enough!

Living by the pity and suspicion of Ned Stark, living by the ointments and observations of Maester Luwin.

This feeling of having his fate held in others' hands made Lynn shiver to his bones.

He didn't want charity.

What he wanted was the qualification to speak as an equal with the Stark name.

What he wanted was supreme power.

As a transmigrator, Lynn knew all the dirty secrets in Game of Thrones.

This was his unique advantage, besides the Three-Eyed Raven.

Lynn's gaze fell on the blue panel that only he could see.

And he also had a system!

This was also his most important asset.

Survival was just the first step.

And he, now, wanted more!

...A month later.

The King's horn finally sounded over Winterfell.

The sound was clear and long.

Carrying the unique splendor and flamboyance of the South, it tore through the morning tranquility of the North.

The entire Winterfell came alive.

Looking down from the highest point of the main keep.

A massive procession, like a golden dragon, was slowly approaching along the Kingsroad.

The crowned stag banner of the Baratheon Family and the roaring lion banner of the House Lannister flapped in the Northern wind.

The knights' armor gleamed dazzlingly in the sunlight.

The ladies' carriages were adorned with lavish drapes.

In the courtyard, the Stark Family was already waiting in their finest attire.

Ned Stark wore a grey fur cloak, his expression solemn.

Lady Catelyn stood by his side, an impeccable smile on her face.

Robb, in a newly tailored leather armor, stood tall like a young pine tree.

Sansa, in a sky-blue gown, her cheeks flushed with excitement, kept glancing at the golden-haired prince at the front of the procession.

Arya wore an ill-fitting iron helmet, her face full of impatience.

Little Rickon hid behind his mother, peeking out curiously.

Bran, the always energetic boy, was also among them.

Lynn stood behind an inconspicuous pillar, away from the center of the crowd.

He watched this grand meeting like an outsider, with a detached gaze.

The heavy sound of hooves and carriage wheels grinding on the ground grew closer and closer.

Robert Baratheon, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, dismounted.

It was not difficult to guess; Robert, six feet five inches tall, was like a towering giant, standing out among the crowd, impossible not to notice!

His body was bloated, his face fleshy, long past the heroic demeanor of the "Stag of the Stormlands" in his youth.

In those days, when he wore his battle armor and a great helmet with twin stag antlers, he became a true giant.

Even Ned struggled to wield his warhammer.

Now, it had completely changed.

But the authority belonging to the King still made everyone bow their heads.

After the guards set up the mounting block, Robert dismounted.

Ned, leading his family, knelt on one knee.

Robert walked quickly to Ned, his face cold.

He gently hooked his finger upwards, signaling Ned to stand and speak.

After Ned stood up, Catelyn and the rest of the family slowly rose.

"Ned!"

"No news from you all these years."

Robert's loud voice, tinged with displeasure, echoed in the courtyard.

Ned first bowed respectfully, then said,

"Guarding the North for you, Your Majesty."

"Winterfell is at your command, always."

Robert scrutinized Ned, whom he hadn't seen in years.

After a long moment, he slowly spoke.

"Ned, you look like you've put on weight."

Ned shrugged slightly.

Then he gestured with his eyes for Robert to look at his own equally out-of-shape physique.

Robert was the first to break, laughing, and Ned followed suit.

Then Robert opened his arms and gave Ned a solid hug.

He then gave Catelyn a hug.

After that, he began to inspect Ned's children, lavishing praise on each one of them.

Following closely behind were Queen Cersei Lannister and her twin brother, Jaime Lannister.

They were so dazzling.

Cersei was as beautiful as rumored, with deep emerald eyes and golden curls that exuded nobility.

Jaime even more so; he was a born lion, with a handsome face, dazzling golden hair, and an innate sense of superiority radiating from him.

They wore polite smiles, but those smiles didn't reach their eyes.

Upon seeing the Lannister people appear, Ned's expression grew somewhat grim.

The House Lannister of Casterly Rock was the last great noble house to join Robert's faction back then.

They only declared their allegiance after Robert and Ned had almost succeeded in their rebellion, and the outcome was exceptionally clear.

Ned hated such opportunists the most.

On another note, Jaime was a "Kingslayer," and Ned had always looked down on Jaime.

Even though Jaime's martial prowess was formidable, Ned's opinion remained unchanged.

Lynn's gaze lingered on them briefly.

He knew that beneath that magnificent facade, a secret capable of overthrowing the entire kingdom was hidden!

Cersei elegantly walked up to Ned, her smile not reaching her eyes, then extended the back of her hand.

Ned kissed the back of her hand and respectfully said,

"Your Majesty, Queen."

Catelyn also bowed respectfully.

"Your Majesty, Queen."

Cersei nodded slightly, smiling faintly.

Seeing that the pleasantries were mostly over, Robert directly got to the point.

"Ned, let's go to the crypts."

Ned knew Robert wanted to see Lyanna Stark's statue.

After every deceased Stark was buried, artisans would carve a statue for them and place it in the crypts.

Ned's deceased father, elder brother, and sister were among them.

Ned did not agree immediately.

Instead, he looked at Cersei first.

Indeed, Cersei's face was very unpleasant.

Lyanna was Robert's lifelong love.

Even after being abducted and possessed by Rhaegar, and then dying, she was still more important than Cersei, his legitimate wife.

Cersei had originally liked Robert too.

It was just a pity that Robert only regarded her as a tool for the Baratheon and Lannister families to ally through marriage.

Cersei would never forget.

On their wedding night, Robert got drunk.

While he was with her that night, he kept calling out Lyanna's name!

This was the shame of her life!

Thinking of this, Cersei's expression turned cold.

"My dear, we've been traveling for a month."

"There's no need to be so eager to see a dead person."

Robert glared at his Queen and ignored Cersei's reaction.

"Ned."

He tilted his head towards Ned, signaling him to follow.

Ned glanced at Cersei before following Robert.

The atmosphere in the air was somewhat oppressive.

Arya asked Bran doubtfully,

"Where's Little Demon?"

Little Demon was the younger brother of Cersei and Jaime.

He was a born dwarf.

Little Demon was his nickname.

Cersei heard Arya's soft question.

Her face grim, she walked towards Jaime.

"Where is our brother carousing?"

"Go find that little beast."
