Four years.
That's how long Airi Tsukihara — known across dimensions as Imaginara — had chased the name Kuroda Ren through the endless corridors of the multiverse.
She had seen worlds filled with knights and dragons, star empires beyond reason, and cities made of pure data.
Each portal she opened led to another clue — and another dead end.
Through it all, one constant remained: the voice in her mind.
> Plastic Man: So… portal number one hundred. You think this is finally the one?
Airi: It has to be. Even my power's getting tired of guessing universes at this point.
Plastic Man: Hey, at least I make great company. I'm basically your conscience, your comic relief, and your body armor. A three-in-one deal.
Airi: Just focus when we land, okay?
Plastic Man: Always do, boss lady.
She smiled faintly under her golden mask, standing at the edge of a glowing circle — the newest of her self-made portals, swirling with cosmic energy and the faint hum of countless realities.
With a deep breath, she stepped through.

She Arrival in Earth-199999 (Marvel Universe)
The sky was on fire.
Buildings trembled as a hulking creature — some kind of interdimensional behemoth with six limbs and molten veins — rampaged through downtown Manhattan.
Explosions rippled across the streets. Civilians screamed.
And ahead, a team of heroes fought to hold the line.
Airi recognized them instantly: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow, joined by Hulk smashing debris in the background.
> Plastic Man: Wait a sec. Red capes, glowing shields, super-rich metal guy… Is this—
Airi: Marvel Universe.
Plastic Man: Oh great, now we're copyrighted in two worlds.
Airi chuckled, but her visor locked onto the creature.
Its power readings were enormous — cosmic in nature, mixed with unstable quantum energy.
> Airi: They need help. I'm jumping in.
Plastic Man: You sure? Last time we butted into another world's superhero team, I ended up shaped like a frying pan.
Airi: Then let's hope this time you'll be shaped like victory.
---
Airi blasted forward, twin jets of light flaring from her boots.
The Sakuyamon Armor gleamed as she extended her arms — golden circuits pulsing with kinetic energy.
"Imaginara, online," she whispered.
She thrust her palms toward the monster.
Not a Kamehameha this time — this was different. Something she'd learned while meditating between worlds: the Light Construct Art.
A massive ethereal spear of golden energy formed in her hands, glowing with ancient sigils. She hurled it with precision — the impact creating a shockwave that sent the creature stumbling back.
Iron Man's voice echoed through his comms. "Who the heck was that? Did Thor get an upgrade?"
"Not me," Thor replied, lightning crackling. "But whoever she is, she fights well!"
Airi landed beside them, armor shining in the smoke. "Long story. I'm just passing through."
Captain America raised his shield. "Then pass through after we stop this thing!"
"On it."
> Plastic Man: Okay, I'm locking your right arm bracer into combat mode. Want me to handle defense?
Airi: Go for it.
Plastic Man: Stretch-shield, activate!
Her gauntlet morphed — Plastic Man's body extending into a transparent, rubberized barrier that deflected a blast of plasma from the monster's maw.
Iron Man whistled. "Is her armor alive?"
> Plastic Man: Technically, yes. And handsome too.
Airi: Focus!
She dashed forward, channeling energy through her hands, summoning Mirror Rings — floating disks of light that circled the creature, reflecting and amplifying its attacks back at it.
Each time it roared and fired an energy bolt, the rings shimmered and redirected it.
Thor hurled Mjolnir through one of her rings — the hammer came out multiplied by three, slamming into the monster's chest with triple the force.
"Ha! Clever magic!" Thor shouted.
"Not magic," Airi said, smiling under her mask. "Imagination."
With one final coordinated strike — Thor's lightning, Iron Man's repulsors, Hulk's punch, and Airi's light burst — the creature collapsed, disintegrating into harmless fragments of cosmic dust.
---
The Avengers regrouped among the rubble, staring at their mysterious ally.
Tony's helmet retracted. "Okay, mystery armor girl, you're gonna have to explain the flying, the shiny suit, and the stretchy talking parts."
Airi shook her head. "Sorry, no time for interviews. I'm chasing someone dangerous — a man named Kuroda Ren. He's been moving across universes, leaving destruction behind."
"Multiversal threat?" Bruce Banner asked. "We've had a few of those lately."
"Yeah," Tony muttered, "we really need a loyalty card for that."
> Plastic Man: They're funnier in person than in the comics.
Airi: Stay quiet, you'll confuse them.
Captain America stepped forward, lowering his shield. "If you're chasing someone who can cross realities, maybe we can help. We've dealt with worse."
Airi considered it — but her portal tracker began to glow, signaling faint energy from another world.
Kuroda's trail.
"I appreciate it," she said, summoning her next portal. "But this chase… it's my responsibility."
Thor gave a respectful nod. "Then may your journey find its end, warrior."
Airi smiled. "And may your universe stay safe."
She stepped into the swirling light.
> Plastic Man: Another world, another chase.
Airi: Yeah… but we're getting closer, I can feel it.
Plastic Man: And hey, if we land in a universe with pizza, I'm taking a snack break.
Airi: Deal.
The portal closed, leaving only the faint shimmer of gold energy — and a team of heroes wondering who that masked traveler really was.
