Our lunch break reached and we left the office,
"We are going to use your car because I left mine somewhere," I told him.
"Okay no problem, just give me directions where we are heading to," he opened the door for me and after sitting,he moved to the other side of the driver's seat.
I told him the location where we are going and he looked at me with a shocked face.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.
"Don't mind me let's go," he started the car and we left.
We reached the place and I told him to park some meters away from the club where I saw Herman entering.
"Why are we here?" He asked me.
"I'm here to make some queries," I replied while unplugging my seat belt.
"About what??" He turned and looked at me.
"About someone,now thanks for dropping me,you are going to wait for me from here as I go inside," I replied.
"Ava, if you think I'm going to stay in the car and wait for you then you're mistaken because I'm coming with you," he replied.
"Please don't be stubborn,but okay if you insist then it's okay let's go," I gave in and we moved out of the car.
Instead of using the back door which Herman and the girl used,we used the front door which was the main entrance…we entered and to my surprise,I expected the club to be with few people but it was filled yet it was lunch hour and I wondered how it would be at night.
We moved to the counter and I asked the bartender some questions.
"Hello there excuse me,I'm looking for this guy," I showed him Herman's pic from my phone.
"Ohh I see!! Caesar is really famous here, everyone knows him," he replied while serving drinks to other people on the counter.
"Is he here right now??" I asked him.
"Yeah,too bad you just missed his performance but if you're not in a hurry you can wait for his next one after one hour," he replied.
His performance!??? I didn't get that but I couldn't ask for details right now so I skipped it.
"So I can't see him before he comes back to perform??" I asked him.
"No sweetie,only staff members are allowed to go backstage and meet him…or if you have an appointment with him," he explained.
"She wanted to book a VIP performance with him," Liam told him and I looked at him with my eyes wide in a way of asking him what he was doing.
"Oh if that's the case,then here is his manager's number you can contact her and they book for you a date," he gave me a business card.
His manager is a girl!!!? Wow!! I wonder what she manages!,
"Okay thank you so much,I think we will get in touch with her," we walked out of there.
"Wait,you said VIP performance and it really worked for us!! How did you know??" I asked him as we walked back to the car.
"Ava I know things about your husband that you don't know that's why I was shocked when you brought me here but I'm glad you're digging the truth by yourself," he replied.
"Okay, help me answer this one question please,is my husband an Artist?? Like, does he sing karaoke in clubs to earn a living??" I asked him.
"Ava,good enough you got his manager's contact…call her and book your date for the VIP performance,the answer will be in front of you,"he replied.
"Okay but now I'm even scared to call this woman…but I think Caesar is his stage name!" I was having too many unanswered questions running in my head.
"Do you need help in calling the manager?" He asked me.
"Yeah sure if you don't mind," I gave him the business card.
He dialed the number and when she picked up,he put the phone on speaker,
"Hello good afternoon," she said from the other side of the call.
"Yes good afternoon ma'am,are you the manager of Caesar?" He asked.
"Yes please,how may I help you?" She asked politely.
"My boss here,her name is Linda, would like to book a VIP performance from Caesar this weekend," he said…of course he had to give out a false name not my real name.
"Oh okay,did they tell you the VIP package price?" She asked.
"Not really,if you don't mind,you can take me through," Liam suggested.
"Well if your boss is coming over to our club,she will have to pay 1000$ for the VIP performance but if she prefers her choice of comfort,then that will be 2000$," she replied.
"Wow!! I bet he is really worth it," Liam said.
"Yes sir,your boss will come back for more I promise you…so which offer are you going with?" She asked.
Liam looked over at me and I mouthed him the second one.
"Uhm ma'am,she will go with the second offer of 2000$...I'm going to send you the location where Caesar will find my boss," he replied.
"Okay then,so are you paying before or on the day when he comes?" She asked.
"Well since this is our first business with you guys,let's pay when he comes," he replied.
"Yah I understand…okay then I will be waiting for your call two days from now for directions," she said.
"Okay then, have yourself a nice day," he wished her before hanging up.
"So what's the plan? Where do you want to meet him??" He asked me.
"Liam I really don't know what he performs so it's giving me a hard time to decide where to meet him," I told him.
"Just get a place with privacy that's all,maybe a fancy hotel room," he suggested.
"Really? Okay you will help me with that right," I asked him.
"Yah sure," We left from there but first made a stop at the restaurant and had our lunch before heading back to the office.
"Hey thank you so much for your time,I really appreciate it," I thanked him before resuming work.
And just like that,the day was over and I ordered a cab to go back home even though Liam offered me a lift but I refused…I reached where I had left my car in the morning and went back home.
I reached home and Herman wasn't home yet so I hit the kitchen to prepare something for dinner.
"Hey babe what would you like to have for dinner," I called him up.
"I don't know if you know the recipe of this dish but I would love to eat A-V-A,will you cook that please," he sounded naughty.
"Haha okay sir I heard you loud and clear and I'm glad to let you know that your order is under process," I replied.
"Thank you so much ma'am…Will be there in two hours time," he replied.
I put down the phone and started cooking…I cooked chicken nuggets and white rice.
I was trying to wait for my husband so that we could eat together but I Was getting hungry so I had my share and sat on the couch while pressing my phone as I waited for him but I slept off and I was woken up by soft lips touching my cheeks.
"Babe, I'm sorry I took forever to get back here and you slept off while waiting for me," he carried me to the bedroom and I rested my head on his chest.
"Ain't you going to have dinner??" I asked him.
"I am but I'm going to first take a shower…I see you haven't changed either so it's better we shower together babe," he carried to the bathroom and after undressing me,he put me in the bathtub and scrabbed my body while kissing me all over.
He carried me back to the bedroom and covered me well in bed then he went back to shower…I don't know what happened next because I slept off and in the morning I had my usual day routine,went to work then in the evening came back and prepared dinner and the next day like that.
Today was my date with Caesar and Liam had made reservations at some five star hotel…we were to meet at 8pm and since today was a Saturday,I had spent the entire day at home but Herman left in the morning claiming to have a meeting at the office.
It was 7pm when I left the house after Liam sent me the hotel directions…I reached there and the room he had booked had a beautiful view with a balcony so I sat outside there waiting for Caesar to show up and I wonder how he's going to react when he finds me as his new client.
I heard a knock on the door and went to check out who it was,I first looked through the peephole and my heart started racing because it was Herman standing outside the door.
