Chapter 5 - Stormy Weather and Cloudy Skies...Part 1

"Rosalie, what are your plans for today?" I hold my phone as Adrien asks me while I eat breakfast and watch the final voting for the kidz+ weather girl, knowing that this is the first episode in season 1, Stormy Weather. Swallowing my food, I respond. "Nothing besides working on my run time. I'm trying to beat my records before my next competition. Why do you wanna hang out?" I ask, and on the other side, Adrien blushes as he responds, stuttering over his words, while a sleepy plagg looks at him with a knowing look before going back to sleep. "Uh, actually, I have a photo shoot in the park, but I was hoping you could come watch and well keep me from getting bored since you always have ways to make things fun….and I don't have to worry about fangirls making me uncomfortable." I agree, while also looking at Tikki, who gazes at me with a grin as she swallows her snack and flies up as she sits on my shoulder. "Yeah, no problem. I'll even bring some food so you don't get hungry at your shoot." "Sounds Great, ever since I ate your food, even my dad's chefs can't make me as happy with their cooking." I laugh and hang up after saying goodbye, then start preparing some chicken salad sandwiches. After that, I grab two bags of Crispy's Chippa's and pack them in the cooler while tikki rolls an apple towards me, which I catch and start cutting up into slices before putting them in a Tupperware container with some fruit dip in a smaller container. "Alright, that should take care of the lunches, but….I honestly hope that there are no crazy fangirls there, Tikki. Adrien doesn't deserve to be stalked by them when it clearly makes him uncomfortable." After saying that, I look at the time and leave with tikki flying into my hood, which she then naps in as I head to the park to meet up with Adrien. Arriving at the park, I see Adrien waiting with an expectant look. Upon seeing me, he runs up as I smile and hold the cooler out of the way as he hugs me before pulling away as he looks with excitement at the cooler, having grown to love my cooking and snacks. "You know, thanks for coming to support me at my modeling shoot, Rosalie....Though you didn't have to," he says even as I slap his hand that's trying to sneak into the cooler away with a swat. Giving him a reproachful look, I speak with a stern tone. "Not till lunch, Adrien, here's some chips instead." He groans in disappointment but smiles as he eats the salty snack as we walk to where the shoots are taking place. I speak again, "Oh, please, Adrien, I wasn't doing anything today anyway. Plus, I can make sure none of your rabid fans bother you." "I'm honestly surprised at how scared they are of you, genuinely, because they can be really persistent. "Let's just say a good glare can really scare away pests." As I say this, I turn to give a death stare at a group of girls who try to sneak up and touch Adrien, as they freeze and run away scared.

"Wow, that does work...Think you could use that on my photographer so I can escape this session?" Adrien asks with a grin, and I shake my head, pointing at the clearly excited and stubborn photographer, who looks like a shark that has smelled blood. "Sorry, but I think even my best glare can't make him run."

"Worth a shot….Hey, I know this may sound sudden, but would you mind joining me for some of them? They get exhausting, but when I'm around you, I feel more energized." Adrien blushes as he rubs the back of his head as I smile gently and agree as we finally arrive at the shooting spot in the fountain and before we can blink Adrien is taken to his position as make up artists start working on him as he gives me a drowned kitten look at my laughing before he whispers to the photographer and then i freeze as he turns to me and his eyes light up before i'm dragged as well.

"Mademoiselle, your beauty is as stunning as the fair moon! Yes, you shall perfectly contrast Monsieur Adriens Sunny Charm, a perfect balance!" I mock glare at a snickering Adrien as I'm tugged by the makeup artists who apply light makeup to highlight my natural features, as one of the younger ones, maybe an intern, seems to recognize me from her brief pause, then grins as she whispers to the other artists. "Now, shall we start?" "Yes, please," I say as Adrien and I start to pose. A few hours later, the photographer calls for lunch, and Adrien and I both sigh in relief simultaneously before looking at each other and laughing.

"Now, how about that lunch I made, huh? I added your favorite fruit dip." His green eyes light up, and he speed walks towards the cooler as I just shake my head and follow after him, my long black hair having been restyled sometime during the shoot into an elegant braided bun by an eager stylist who I assume is a fan of mine due to her excitement. As the two eat lunch peacefully, they remain unaware of a hidden stalker with blue hair who seems to be frothing at the mouth as they glare from behind a tree at the two who seem to be having a lunch date. "No way, why is she with Adrien?! He was supposed to have a photo shoot, not be having lunch with Rosalie!" The Stalker says angrily under her breath as her blue eyes glare harder when Adrien accidentally gets fruit dip on his face, and Rosalie helps him wipe it off as he blushes. With a crack, their hand actually breaks the bark of the tree they have a death grip on, as the sweet moment becomes even sweeter when they end up taking photos looking like a perfect couple. "Hey Girl, what's going on? Manon and I just got some ice cream, if you want it?" Alya says to Marinette, who jumps when realizing they both are back as she tries to act normal around Mannon, even as Mannon, who, while young, is not dumb, looks at what Marinette was doing, then at the young couple nearby and frowns, having had talks with her mom about strange behaviors from older people and how it's not ok. "Why are you watching that couple, Marinette?" Mannon says being extra loud as she recalls her mom's words on how to discreetly warn people. Hearing this, Marinette, unable to control herself, yells loudly. "They are not a couple!" Combined with Manon's earlier words, both Rosalie and Adrien turn and gaze at her with shock and uncomfortable expressions as Adrien especially seems weirded out at what he heard as Rosalie stands up and marches towards them, her eyes narrowed. "Well, if it isn't Marinette? Have you really turned to stalking people now?! Listen, I'm giving you one chance to walk away before I call the police for stalking me. Since we're classmates." Marinette is already angry and doesn't even think before speaking as she shouts. "WHY WOULD I STALK YOU WHEN I WAS FOLLOWING ADRIEN!" Her eyes go wide as she realizes what she said, and she looks at a now horrified Adrien, who stands up and gazes at her with shock as Rosalie smirks unseen as she cancels the recording of her phone and gives her best death glare. "Now that's worse. I can handle you being jealous of me and trying to embarrass me, but stalking my friend isn't ok. Now, unless you really want to be arrested, I suggest you leave, and I will be reporting this to mine and Adrien's parents to contact your own. Goodbye, Marinette."

Leaving a stunned and horrified Marinette, I return to Adrien as I wrap my arm around him and whisper apologies, while the photographer, seeing the situation, signals them to move the shoot, having realized the implications of how a stalker found their location. "Well, let's move ship, everyone, and find a far more picturesque place to finish this shoot. Come now, CHOP!CHOP!" He adds with extra emphasis as the crew nods and starts packing to move sights, as Alya comforts Marinette, not even caring about what happened, and a now uncomfortable Mannon asks someone nearby to call her mom and have her be picked up as she says she feels unsafe with Marinette after what happened.
