Maya's POV
"Alexander Walsh is in New York." I stare at the documents Lisa gave me. "Right now. Hunting us."
Ethan grabs his phone. "I'm calling Detective Morrison. We need protection immediately."
"Protection didn't stop Lisa from living in our attic for weeks. It won't stop Alexander."
"Then what do we do?"
"We find him first. Before he finds us."
The photos show a man in his thirties. Tall. Dark hair. Eyes exactly like James Walsh's. Cold. Calculating. Dangerous.
"He looks like James," Derek says. He came over the moment I called. "Same expression. Same way of standing. Like he owns everything."
"Because James raised him to think he does own everything," I say. "Lisa's notes say Alexander grew up believing he was the chosen heir. The perfect son. Everything Derek wasn't."
"James told me I was worthless my whole life," Derek says quietly. "Apparently he was raising my replacement overseas."
"Did you know James had another son?"
