"This is also what we don't understand."
Regarding Michael's confusion, Tivan shared the same perplexity.
"Because the formation of Kaimier Star was entirely due to that existence."
"The development of Kaimier Star has always been under the surveillance of the various Cosmic forces that survived back then."
"Although none of us believed that a Planet formed from the heart of a dead Star Beast would pose any threat."
"Because this Planet originated from the hands of that existence, no force did anything to Kaimier Star."
"But!"
"Over the long river of time, through our monitoring, we discovered."
"The Planet core of Kaimier Star, which was once the kaimier heart that could bring deep pressure to the major forces, has become increasingly… weaker."
"We, these… ancient long-lived species, have witnessed its growth, witnessed its glory."
"Perhaps, we will also witness it extinguishing its last glimmer of light."
Tivan explained to Michael with a touch of emotion.
Michael's eyes twitched as he listened. Damn, how long does it take for a Planet to form and perish? You guys are indeed a bunch of immortal beings!
"Is there… any possibility?"
"Perhaps the kaimier heart is creating something, which is why it's becoming increasingly weak?"
Having witnessed the enormous heart deep within Earth's core devour the souls of those who died unnatural deaths, Michael didn't believe that the so-called kaimier heart was something that only took in and never gave out.
Theoretically, if it only took in and never gave out, the kaimier heart, which was as mighty as shown in Tivan's projected images, wouldn't have become its current state, almost at the mercy of anyone.
Therefore, the kaimier heart, which absorbs energy from the surrounding Universe with every beat, must have some other unknown consumption that caused it to go from its ancient awe-inspiring power to its current half-dead state! Could it be that the new souls created on Earth are supplied and created by the kaimier heart? Having watched all the images Tivan projected earlier, Michael also knew that the Cosmic beast Ke Mi Er itself had a special attribute similar to a Zerg hive, capable of mass reproduction of offspring.
And devouring all the souls of those who died unnatural deaths on Earth, then creating new souls for new life, doesn't seem like an impossible feat. This also seems to explain why creating only souls on Earth would consume so much. Perhaps his guess has a fundamental possibility, but Michael was also very uncertain about how much this guess aligned with the true situation.
Michael speculated that, in addition to creating souls for new life on Earth, the kaimier heart might have been set up by that existence with some matters that no one could detect… "We also had such conjectures back then."
Tivan nodded at Michael, indicating that Michael was not the first to discover these issues.
"To verify these conjectures, some more proactive Gods directly went to Kaimier Star and conducted some experiments on a portion of the indigenous humans who had evolved and been born on Kaimier Star."
"Hmm…"
"It seems those people were later called Eternals or Mutants or something."
"Originally, I wanted to collect some of these… magical and rare species."
"But there were too many Gods watching Kaimier Star, and because we Cosmic Elders and the Gods had a falling out."
"The steps of collecting have not yet been taken."
"I just don't know if you 'have any connection with those Gods back then?"
Tivan asked, his gaze fixed on Michael.
