Chapter 41 - Effect Of The New Heart!

Just as Draven was inspecting the new changes inside his body, Silas asked seriously, "Who gave you the Chaos God Possession secret technique?"

Draven came back to his senses and blinked in confusion. "No one gave it to me. It appeared in my head out of nowhere when I awakened my bloodline. Not only for the Chaos Divine Ape bloodline, but for all three bloodlines I awakened, I got three techniques each."

"Inherent techniques? That too for all three bloodlines? What kind of heavenly luck is that?" Loki looked at Draven enviously.

But Silas squinted his eyes. "Tell me the names of the three techniques you got for the Astral Nexus Bloodline."

"Astral Nexus, Stellar Reassembly, Void Reflux," Draven replied truthfully. After all, trying to deceive someone as powerful as Silas was nothing short of courting death.

"Seriously? You even acquired exactly the same techniques my master has practiced. Tell me honestly," Loki asked Draven curiously, "are you a demon vessel? Is there an old man's soul hiding inside you, someone who was once part of my master's family?"

Silas's mouth twitched. He gave a slap to Loki's head and asked Draven, "Tell me the truth, how did you master such a complicated technique like the Chaos God Possession without even having a Chaos elemental core, and in such a short time?"

Draven remained silent for a moment before he said, "I have an innate physique called the Innate Dream Walker Physique. Because of this, I can create dreams in my mind where I can practice techniques as though in real life. I also told this to Ancestor Asura God. He told me it is a unique technique which somehow formed by accident. This time, I tried to create a dream where I practiced the Chaos God Possession, but I didn't expect it to succeed."

Silas's mouth twitched. "Succeed? If not for me being here and your Ultimate Demon Physique being a limit-breaker physique, your body would have blown to pieces a long time ago. What brainless idiot would have the guts to absorb such destructive Chi like the Chaos element into one's body without a Chaos elemental core to regulate its circulation?"

Draven scratched his head awkwardly. Even now he was under the effect of the wine and couldn't think properly. "I didn't absorb it. It entered my body on its own."

Silas sighed helplessly. "Forget it. Now tell me, what changes do you feel in your body after your vital Chi mutated?"

Draven thought for a moment and said, "My vital Chi seems to have become even stronger than before. In particular, the new heart in my body contains at least a hundred times more vital Chi than the entire vital Chi content in my body. But when I thought of using this vital Chi, my seventh sense warned me not to. So I don't know how powerful I will become if I truly activate this new heart."

Silas frowned. "That is to be expected, since your body had already broken the limit once. But you can still use the vital Chi in other ways, instead of using it to strengthen your body."

Draven looked at Silas blankly. "What else?"

Silas rubbed his brows in frustration. "You are not allowed to drink second-tier wine anymore. Even after having the Asura Seventh Sense Mantra, your brain is slower than a snail right now."

Draven blinked in confusion.

"Idiot, use your vital Chi to cast Asura Avatars. When the Chaos Heart formed inside you, your spirit was also strengthened to an equivalent degree," Loki said lazily when it saw this.

"Oh, right." Draven came back to his senses and hurriedly activated his second heart as he created Asura Avatars nonstop.

One, two, ten, twenty, fifty, eighty, ninety, ninety-five, one hundred, one hundred one, one hundred six.

The count of Asura Avatars kept increasing to the point that he had to open the door of his house to give them space. It was only when he reached a count of 106 that Draven reached his limit.

"Holy hell, this guy is definitely not a human. He is some kind of monster even more terrifying than anything I have seen in my life," Loki said with a horrified look on its face.

Even Silas's eyes widened when he saw this, though he had expected this outcome. "106 Asura Avatars, all at the mortal realm, but with a power fluctuation at the 8th stage of the Ascendant realm. To make it even worse, all of them have powerful Chaos elemental Chi circulating in their bodies. What about their actions? Can you control all of them?"

Draven nodded. "All of them can act on their own and can also be controlled by my thoughts. But actively controlling them is a burden on my spirit."

Silas sighed. "I truly don't have words to describe your talent. Usually, people will use the Chaos Divine Ape consciousness to complete their God Possession, but you directly went for the Destroyer, who was considered one of the scariest Eternal Gods to have ever existed in this universe. What's even more ridiculous is that his consciousness willingly merged with your body even though you didn't have a Chaos core."

"See, I told you. This guy is a monster," Loki also nodded.

Silas glared at Loki coldly. "Shut up, or I will roast you for dinner tonight."

Loki shivered and shrank back.

"I want the leg piece," Draven suddenly raised his hand and said, as though he were ordering from a waiter at a restaurant.

Both Silas and Loki looked at Draven speechlessly.

"We should just let this guy drink first-tier wine from now on. If he goes on sprouting nonsense like this after drinking something above his capacity, sooner or later someone will beat him to death," Silas said in irritation before he vanished from the room.

Loki also followed suit, leaving Draven and his Asura Avatars alone in the room.

"What are you staring at? Disperse." Draven waved his hand, and all the Asura Avatars dispersed into a mix of vital and Chaos Chi, which then dissipated into the air.

Supporting himself on the sofa, Draven somehow flopped onto it and soon fell asleep without a care in the world.

It was only the next morning that Draven opened his eyes with a splitting headache.

"Damn it, what a mess," Draven clutched his head in irritation as he sat up on the sofa. Of course, he remembered everything that happened last night.

"Senior Loki," Draven called out tentatively.

"What is it, brat? Do you want my leg for roasting?" The angry voice of Loki rang in Draven's ears.

Draven shivered. "No, no, how dare I? It was just a misunderstanding yesterday. I hope Senior won't take it to heart."

"I am not that petty enough to remember such small grudges. But one thing is for sure, if you ever touch second-tier wine before you reach the Ascendant realm, I will break your legs," Loki's angry voice reached Draven's ears.

Draven didn't dare chat with this hot-tempered tiger anymore. He directly went to the shower and stood under it for a long time to cool his head. Then he got ready to go to the Devil Swamp Forest to hunt. After all, he was still in debt of 4000 second-tier coins. If he didn't pay it in time, he might even lose his deposit.

When Draven reached the Hunter Association to register his entry inside the forest, he saw Edward and a young girl around the age of 17 standing near the reception, chatting with Jasmine about something.

"Big brother Edward, are you also going to enter the forest?" Draven asked with a smile.

Edward turned around and saw Draven standing behind him. His eyes suddenly lit up. "Finally, you decided to come! We were waiting for you since yesterday."

"For me? Why?" Draven asked in confusion.

"Remember the water snakes we hunted from that pond, with tiger-like patterns on its body?" Edward asked enthusiastically.

Draven nodded. "The one which was identified as a Tiger-Skin Water Python by the appraiser."

"Yeah, that one. This Madam here is a guest from our main family in the 1st Stronghold. She took an interest in these snakes and wants to hire you to hunt as many as possible. She is willing to pay the market price for each of the snakes," Edward explained.

Draven frowned. "Don't get me wrong, but would she still want my help even after having 10th-stage Ascendant realm cultivation?"

"I am not good at combat inside water. The Tiger-Skin Water Python is a very dangerous, poisonous water snake with extremely terrifying agility. I don't know how you managed to hunt it, but I am willing to pay you double the market price if you can hunt more than a hundred of the same species," the young woman said to Draven with a light smile.

"All at the Ascendant realm?" Draven asked again.

The young lady shook her head. "Even if it is at the mortal realm, I am fine with it as long as it is a Tiger-Skin Water Python."

Draven thought for a moment and nodded his head. "Fine. Let's sign the contract."

Both of them went to the reception and printed out a contract before signing their names on it, completing the deal.

This time, Draven didn't take the client along. He rented a 10th-stage, one-horned white horse at the Ascendant realm from a mount rental shop and galloped into the forest at full speed.

This was the only higher-tier horse at the rental shop above the 5th stage of the Ascendant realm. It was actually kept as a showpiece, since there was usually no one capable of renting it in the entire stronghold, excluding hunters from outside.

Its speed was also astonishing. In less than two hours, Draven reached the pond where he had hunted the Arapaima fish.

After tying the horse to the side, Draven released all 106 of his Asura Avatars, each holding a long red spear.

"One hundred of you, jump inside the water and hunt as many Tiger-Skin Water Pythons as possible. The remaining six of you: one should stay here and guard me, while the rest go and hunt some decent game from the forest for me," Draven said with a yawn and directly lay down on top of some soft green grass to sleep.

As Draven instructed, the 100 Asura Avatars jumped into the water, while five Asura Avatars moved into the jungle to hunt some prey. The remaining one stood guard beside Draven.

Draven didn't have the habit of eating fish, which is why he instructed the five Avatars to hunt for other prey. Even though he wouldn't be able to control the Asura Avatars if they went out of his spiritual sense, since the Avatars have a will of their own, Draven allowed them to hunt on their own.
