A television screen was sitting on top of a small storage table and on it a news was broadcasting.
A young lady, in her 20s, sat on a comfy chair and held some papers. While resting her hand on the glass table, she said with a heavy voice "From new borns to five year old children are disappearing all over the world. This phenomenon began in Oceania, and spread to Europe and then to South America then to North America after which this was seen in Africa and finally, it reached Asia, it seems this was a chain reaction of disappearance from smallest to largest continents, and not just some of many but every-single child from the age of new borns – who hadn't even opened their eyes yet – to five year old children – just starting to understand the simple things – vanished without a trace of whereabouts! It is truly unsettling and terrifying. Some religious leaders claim it's divine judgement of sorts and some atheists relates it to alien abduction of human lives for their research! That is all for today."
Different emergency vehicles could be seen rushing the roads one after another, police station flooded with pairs of man and woman, reporting disappeared children. Soon another news came. A huge building stood tall and 193 flags, all uniformly standing in rows. "We are told that UN - united Nations has summoned all the world leaders and not just head of the country but all the ministers and secretaries too!"
Another voice chimes in,
"Ofcourse, it is highly demanded of all the ministers and heads to not instigate a war or anything along those lines as the whole world is in a state of panic!"
Hundred of cars, all parked in front of a building and a symbol, a bit bigger than human size, saying 'UN' stood in the garden. Atleast more than hundred men and few women, all sitting their respective chairs looked at the small stage where and a small podium that also consisted of "UN" as a symbol in the front for the audience to see – this podium was athe left.
Suddenly lights went off and a single spotlight focused on the podium appeared followed by a second spotlight that focuses on the right from which steps can be heard the both sides were coverd by blue curtains.
A family of four were looking at the television screen about this news. A man and a women in their 40s sat on the cyan couch, both were wearing black kimonos. And a guy looking older thank 20. Actually, he was 21, black hair, brown eyes, a just as everyone else. There was an another guy, 16 years, black hair, black eyes. They both sat at the parallel arms of the sofa.
Then suddenly, a knock sounded at the door. The older guy, being closer to the door went to check: the door was brown and had simple patterns, once the guy opened the door, no one was there, he was puzzled, and thought to himself, "Who knocked? No one is here..." Thinking nothing of it, he turned around to the others and said, "No one is here, I guess someone is messing around or went back due to some emergency."
Just as he was about to sit down again, the wall behind them, broke into shreds with sparks and fire and flew right at them. One of the scattered piece struck the guy's head.
All of it happened so fast, that no one even got to react to the explosion. A split second so to speak!
