"Somebody should stop him before he destroys everything," Jordan cried out. His voice was not the only sound; cries from the unknown echoed from beyond, intercepting their words. Yet Lucas remained unfazed by the chaos, even though Travis might be taking it too far. He gazed at the distance and the swirling portal before giving a firm nod.
"Let him do his thing. I believe in him. I know he will bring Derek and Kai back." Lucas declared, then fell quiet.
Meanwhile, the cubs glanced around in confusion, wondering where their mama had run off to and why none of their fathers were around.
"Mama!" Tilda called out. Maya stroked her little mane before cupping her chin.
"Mama just stepped out for a minute. He's coming back with Papa, don't worry," she assured her, eventually winning the little one over.
The others looked toward the doorway and decided to wait, watching to see what would unfold.
