On Earth, there once lived a boy with a single dream — to become the best football player in the world.
But fate had other plans.
Born into a poor family, with no sponsors, no proper shoes, and no one to guide him, his dream was too heavy for his small shoulders. Despite endless practice and unmatched passion, his talent was… mediocre. No matter how much he tried, the world never noticed him.
Years passed. The dream faded.
The boy grew into a man, and at forty years old, he was no longer chasing goals on the field — he was teaching others to do so.
Though he never became the best player, he became something else — the best mentor. He helped countless kids from poor families rise to fame, molding champions from the same mud he once crawled through.
But fate, once again, came uninvited.
One quiet night, as he sat at home watching an old match, a sharp pain tore through his skull.
His vision blurred. The room spun.
He collapsed onto the floor.
And then — nothing.
When he opened his eyes again, an eternity seemed to have passed.
He found himself standing in a vast, endless white space.
Before him stood an old man, his aura divine, his presence overwhelming — long silver hair, eyes that held galaxies, and a gentle smile that could calm storms.
"Who… who are you?" the man asked, voice trembling.
[GOD]: "Well, child, it took you a long time to get here. As you may already know… you're dead."
The words hit like thunder.
[GOD]: "You died of a natural cause — a brain hemorrhage. But fret not. I have seen your life — your good deeds, your sacrifices, your kindness to others."
[GOD]: "You are not going to hell, child. You've earned your place in heaven."
The man blinked, confused. "W–wait… I can ask something?"
[GOD]: "Speak."
"Can I… can I get reincarnated?"
[GOD]: "You may. But it will be random — any world, any form."
The man hesitated. "Can I use my good deeds to change that?"
[GOD]: "Hmm… I can make an exception for you. You lived a miserable life, yet helped many. I'll convert your good deeds into percentages. You can spend them as you wish."
The man's eyes shone. "Thank you! Thank you so much, God!"
[GOD]: "Alright. You have 100%. Begin."
The man took a deep breath. "First, I want to be reborn on Earth — or an alternate version of it."
[GOD]: "That will cost 3%."
"Next, I want to keep my memories from my past life."
[GOD]: "2%."
"I want limitless potential and limitless talent."
[GOD]: "10%."
"I want a system that gives me quests and daily tasks… but its main ability should be to copy any talent from anyone — even animals."
[GOD]: "That will be 55%. A bit greedy, aren't we?"
The man scratched his head. "Eheh… fair enough."
"I also want my body to never get sick or injured."
[GOD]: "10%."
"How much do I have left?"
[GOD]: "20%."
"I want maximum comprehension ability — to learn anything instantly."
[GOD]: "5%."
"I want to be born into a billionaire family — as the only or youngest child, and my parents should never have any other children."
[GOD]: "5%."
"I want to be born in Spain, France, or England."
[GOD]: "5%."
"And finally…" the man smiled softly, "I want my family to love me unconditionally — like I'm their entire world."
[GOD]: "That will be 3%."
[GOD]: "We're done, child. Everything you asked for has been granted."
A beam of white light enveloped the man, warm and blinding.
His last thought before fading was simple:
This time, I will become the best.
And with that, he was reborn.
