"I don't know what you're planning now but how long have you been doing this?" Banele asked as i was learning how to create a claymore from scrap metal i bought in town using alchemy. "I'm creating a weapon for myself. I want to master doing this since I'll be in the clear in a few years time" i replied, hinting at the fact that I'll be attending the Academy right in the centre of the capital."That's still something you need to do...i forgot about that" Banele replies with a laugh, the process of the experiment begin and sure enough, I was able to create a claymore then shifted it to a spear to test my alchemy skills more. "And with this, I'm officially the strongest in the continent" i say with confidence to Banele who is stunned because of what just happened, i told him to not tell anyone though cause being used as a tool will end in serious consequences.
As things weren't too complicated, i sensed someone's mana lurking so i had Banele exit my room and with a snap of my finger grabbed said someone using 'Landlock' an intermediate earth magic spell then climbed out the window and flew to the roof to find my chaotic younger sister. "What brings you here? you know that sneaking around could get you under a lot trouble" i said hoping this 150cm ball of chaos doesn't ask me to teach her alchemy."I was bored and Ntsika is no fun to fight so i came to check on you, not my fault that i stumbled on something important" she replied with no resistance which made me had me questioning whether she realises that what she just is something that could end up being the reason why her elder brother turns into military killing tool."is Father not around? I'm sure he could've been your sparing partner" i ask, "he left all affairs to mother days ago to attend the council meeting for the Sunborn kingdoms" she replied. Out of all things to ignore, I chose that important meeting... I can be stupid sometimes. The highly important meeting that all leaders of the Sunborn continent attend with their diplomats...The Solar Gathering, said to change the fates of kingdoms and is held in the Leo's Den at the centre of the continent. Not that I would involve myself in these affairs just yet but this meeting happens every 5 years with some nations expecting war and some falling from grace, there are 7 nations in the continent so which excluding the Khosari is the Zula Empire, the Setha Kingdom, the Yoibo Federation, the Akan Kingdom, the Tswa Kingdom and the Ar Dynasty.
the nation with most land the Ar Dynasty does tend have a very cunning approach to these meetings with their power being backed by nations from Kharadim so it's a good thing i sent a spy around Father. Despite the Khosari being the third greatest nation in Sunborn, having to face the Ar Dynasty can cause huge problems that's why i don't want issues coming from them but from what I've been hearing lately from both Father and Mother, it's safe to say that a war might break loose, here i thought that life would be peaceful now that I'm a prince but fate runs its course doesn't it.
Anywho I shouldn't be worrying too much about it, i don't intend to be crown prince.
*Days Before The Gathering*
As the king of the Khosari Kingdom i ensure that every thing that has to do with the state stays in proper condition, that being said i hope my son would realise that and stop doing whatever unnecessary training and research he's strangely done so far, I'm grateful for this eye looking thing he gave me though.
I'm Buzile S. Thulane, the current king of the Khosari and I've done all there is to lead this into one of greats in the Southern region of Sunborn but there's one problem which is why I'm currently facing a letter for an urgent Solar Gathering. Honestly I hate these meetings because they usually end in nations having a senseless war but I do wonder with how peaceful its been between the nations of this continent, what has transpired in the past few months?
Without another slight hesitation, I left all state affairs in the hands of the Queen Consort knowing that she'll be safe with that smart brat who always lingers in that room nowadays and left for the Leo's Den still wondering as to what could've made this gathering important.
The more I ponder, the more I realise that a fierce battle might break out which is why i have my trusted defence commander accompany instead of Banele who is still an upstart captain.
The moment we arrived, we set up camp to get some rest and the other countries start showing up one by one greeting and trying to negotiate more which to me didn't need to persuasive people coming up to me to curry favour for them before the Gathering.
I still was curious as to what is happening, a rival nation's leader arrives, the King of Zulani Kingdom Sgidi Zulani, with a whole escort as if he couldn't defeat a bunch of bandits himself.
"I see you arrived as usual my rival" he says with much confidence, "I needed info on why we're here before the next official Gathering, I don't need to be flashy to show strength" i replied shaking, "Seems like the three Dynasty kings aren't here yet?" Sgidi asks, "I reckon something is off about them but we'll wait for the Gathering tomorrow" I reply heading back to my camp to get ready for tomorrow.
*Back at the Khosari Kingdom*
I wasn't sure why I felt a bit strange about that meeting but it didn't take long for me to put my alchemy abilities to practice as two days after Father left for the Gathering, the capital was infiltrated.
I took off immediately before the Palace Guards started locking up and went to the battlefield but before that i had made enough clones to vacate the people of this town to safety and patiently waited at the centre.
Now the whole thing did take some time given the fact thanks to Clairvoyance, my clones were able to use Spatial Magic as fast they can to teleport people to the underground station I made a request to be build three years ago. Thanks to that, I was able to let the soldiers fight freely but then it was for a short period after restoring my mana that the leader of this operation made contact with me.
"Kid, where are you from and why are you sitting here?" he asked but in a language similar to the Ar Dynasty's but in my confusion, I used a spell I made on the fly to handle translation issues and replied,"Kind sir, what's your problem with this Kingdom?", now at the time we both weren't aware that Khosari army had the advantage and so when a subordinate of this leader relayed this message, the next thing I saw was him charging at me with his blade.
What he aimed for though was a mirage as I went to detain the subordinate first and constructed steel arrows from the metal around his armor then directed them at the leader.
"It would benefit the both of us if you were to halt all this senseless fighting, you know Mr.Leader" i say trying to not expose my position. "No, the sake of the Ar Dynasty's Agies kingdom, we will take everything that makes this nation thrive!!" he shouts as the arrows follow his different direction, "I see then" I lazily reply waiting for him to ground or a puddle of water to step on making this battle between to keep going.
Back at the Gathering inside the Leo's Den where every spell to make the meeting smooth was used, the meeting had started with the Ar Dynasty's three kings admitting they asked for the nations to gather and without a single heartbeat missed suddenly the leaders of the various are surrounded by the Ar Dynasty mercenaries.
"What's the meaning of this?" they demanded, "We're tired of acting like this continent is great because of all gathered here so we decided we're taking over everything and we built an army of ten thousand against your army of thousands so its obvious who should be supreme here"
the king of Nistu answered with confidence so powerful that other small nations felt the urge to surrender.
"I knew something was about you three, I heard news that your alliance with a nation from the Kharadim continent was a success and I knew it wouldn't take long for you to make a move" Father said, with a cold look on his face.
"Well well, someone did they research but it's a shame that your actions may have to stop there" the emperor of Nile replied, "Why's that?" Father questioned with calm face.
"Well i sent mercenaries to invade your kingdom, King Bongi, I'm sure your family won't be as safe as you think they would because we made countermeasures to put us at an advantage" the king of Aegis response and with a fit of rage, Father got close enough to strike the king of Aegis but was detained and made to kneel with his head looking down.
"Did you think you'd able to touch me? I know you're powerful and have enough to destroy armies yourself which is why another spell was placed by our temple mages outside to weaken you all, didn't think I'd get the chance to behead the most powerful man in this continent" the king of Aegis said laughing at the scene in front.
"Now any last words? your head will begin this joyous era of the Ar Dynasty" he continued, "I'm afraid you'll lose, Ahmad" Father replied and with laughter King Ahmad said "Now off with his head".
As the blade went down, a white light went from the gift I gave my father and with the leader of the invasion and his subordinate, I appeared in front of the council of kings and knocked out the mercenaries detaining my father.
"So I'm guessing your three are these mercenaries higher ups, right?" I asked without looking at them, tending to my father, "Who are you? What have you done to my men?" the king of Aegis asked, "I didn't know that mercenaries get to be the king's soldiers but pardon me, I'm the eldest son of His Majesty over here and the reason you'll have nightmares for ever challenging the Khosari Kingdom" I coldy replied.
"Now, I'm not someone suited for diplomatic affairs cause I'm not even the crown prince but I believe from the soldiers currently sudued by my mana that you've issued a declaration of against every nation here, am I correct?" I asked finally turning to look at them as they see their soldiers and assassins slowly lose their lives.
Now being from another world, I took this from one of my favourite manga with dreams of wanting to subdue people who surround using the immense spiritual pressure but thanks to mana being able to manipulate, I can use mine to not only subdue but take whatever mana they possess.
"Yes but it doesn't matter if you kill us here, eventually the war will commence and there's nothing a kid like you can do" the king of Aegis idiotically responsed, "my my, guess I need to shut that mouth of yours" i reply instantly freezing the saliva in his mouth to absolute zero,"Goodluck on not dying though, now i have two things to say. First, I alone am able to crush a third of your warriors in one day and Lastly, I won't senseless kill people so I propose a match. You send the Ar Dynasty's strongest academy students or soldiers and to makes better for you, I'll be on my own. The result of the match will be determined on whether opponents are unable to continue or surrender and if you win, the nation is yours but if I win, you'll cease every war plans, abdicate your throne and plunge yourself in scorching fire that will be made by yours truly." I stated.
"Failure to comply, means death to every soldier and rebellion from your citizens"I continued knowing that the declaration of war wasn't something they campaigned for to their combined nations.
"We'll comply but as for abdicating, that's something I'll never do" the King of Nile said.
I turn to grab the necklace i gave my father and started playing all that it captured then at the end I said, "You see , I can easily get your nations and gather a crowd to show you how cruel their leaders are and because of their arrogance, they may no longer exist in this world because of a war against nations that can form a united front. I've had my say now, I propose you this meeting and meet for the match 6 months from now".
All leaders voted on my propsal being the way forward and i carved more stupid problems for myself but that said, I didn't want to see the destruction and pain-stacking I had to do three days ago be the reason one innocent person started to hate humans or these peaceful nations so this was a better solution for me and for this world. The meeting ended right there and the Three Idiot Kings left the area immediately.
Father and I had a chat about what I did and he went off on me, but then "I'm glad you actually paid attention to state affairs and saw what to do to save us from this senseless but I want you to be careful and make sure you win".
Taken by surprise, those words fuelled me up and without any hesitation I let out a "yes sir" and soon after we were on our way home.
