Ronnie also stopped as Mahoraga quit following him. He looked behind at Yuji who was moving toward Mahoraga with killing intent.
Recognising the threat immediately, Mahoraga snapped his fist at Yuji.
Yuji blocked the fist with his palm, a wave of impact sending tremors into the earth and surroundings.
Yuji didn't move even an inch from his position. Blood dropped from the middle of Yuji's palm and Mahoraga's fist.
Suddenly, large and thick thorns of blood protruded from every part of Mahoraga's body. Each thorn was a metre long and half a metre wide.
His hands, eyes, head, legs, and abdomen— no part of his body was spared. His head was literally crushed completely as half a metre of blood thorn erupted from his neck.
Seeing Mahoraga's body damage, Ronnie was completely overwhelmed as he naturally started to develop fear for Yuji. He gulped at the moment with surprised eyes.
Yuji withdrew his hand. Mahoraga was still frozen even after blood thorns got removed from his body because the large holes in his body were still remaining and the damage was beyond human imagination.
"I know, it's not enough to kill a demon like you."
Yuji said as he took a few steps backwards. At the same time, Mahoraga's body started evolving and the wheel above his head rotated a complete circle.
His flesh started regenerating and in a few seconds, all his wounds were completely healed. But now he was mad to kill Yuji.
He took his sword and struck it toward Yuji with all of his strength. Just as the sword was about to make kitkat of Yuji, Yuji stepped sideways.
The sword's blade slammed into the earth and penetrated it and got stuck inside.
Half of the sword has entered the earth. It was the proof of the anger and strength Mahoraga had poured into his sword.
Taking advantage of the delay caused in Mahoraga's movement by stucked sword, Yuji jumped onto the shoulder of Mahoraga and kicked his head that his head got decapitated by shear strength.
But still, it wasn't enough to kill Mahoraga and it only took a mere second for Mahoraga to grow his head again.
"You truly are troublesome!"
Yuji said as he jumped back from his shoulder.
'Now I believe I was just a fool who was thinking that if I could perform sword rotation multiple times, I could kill him by severing his body into pieces.'
Ronnie finally grasped the truth as he stood there and watched two ancient monsters tear into each other in a battle to the death.
