Damian's Pov
I'm halfway through knotting my tie when someone starts pounding on the front door like they're trying to break it down.
Then another. The kind that makes you think the house is about to catch fire.
"Ms. Vivian, can you get that?" I call out, walking out of the bedroom with my tie dangling around my neck and a mug of lukewarm coffee in my hand. I check the time and it's six a.m. I wasn't expecting anyone and nobody sane visits at this hour.
The knocking gets louder, like whoever it is wants the whole estate awake. "Ms. Vivian!" I yell again.
Silence. Great. Either she's out on her morning grocery run or she's finally decided to quit and leave me to my fate. I put the mug down and head for the door.
The second I open it, Alexandra pushes past me before I can say a word. No greeting, just a gust of perfume, messy hair, and chaos.
