Rimu's Pov:
Alright the day I've been training for is here. Look like the gymnasiums will be use as the place for holding the chess tournament.
The Gymnasiums was decorated with chair and table in the middle of the arena with chess board on it. At the ceiling , a camera with screen was installed. (Idk what's the name but like those screen hanging from the ceiling in NBA or Baseball)
Out of nowhere i feel a tap on my shoulder.
Blaze: "Feeling nervous?" He take a seat beside of me.
Me: "Yeah. I don't want to want you to be beneath than someone like that bi... Girl."
Almost slip out. If I said it, he would lecture me about manner for hours.
I don't want that. What I want now is to put that girl into her place for insulting my big brother.
The only person... In my family.
I look around the gymnasiums seeing student after student slowly filling in.
They're probably those who don't even understand what chess it but came anyway to skip class.
And that's why I'm here too. Skipping my class, hehe.
Now that I think about it. Where's Addy?
My eye continues to roams the gymnasiums, searching for a tired looking meathead. And it stopped at the boy I'm searching for, Addy.
But... He's seem to be talking to himself!??
I was dumbfounded, no, flabbergasted. Has he gone made?! Because right now he seems to have a conversation with himself while staring at some invisible being.
What happened to him in the past week?? That he developed a schizophrenia?
I need to check on him after this for sure it. Maybe even calling a psychiatric just for him.
Suddenly I felt a shiver down my spine, it felt like getting stabbed multiple times from the back.
Slowly turning around, I was met with the crimson gaze of a such terrifying man. Standing tall behind me, the principle of Jura Highschool, ZT.
Me: "Hello there, Principle Zt." i let out a nervous and daring chuckles. Knowing he hates that nickname except when Blaze called him
Zt: "Silence you mongrel." he look over to Blaze direction before settling down right beside him.
Blaze: "Yo Zt. Thank you for making this tournament." He said while observing the student slowly filing the space.
Zt: "Its Alright. As long as that brother of yours win. I don't care." he shoot a side glance to my direction.
That alone made my skin have chicken skin (aka Goosebumps)
Zt: "If that mongrel ain't winnin, I'm publicly shaming him and expulse him out." his tone is series and deep. Like he's about to claw my brain out.
Wait...
Me: "WAIT!! That's an abuse of power! It's illegal to do that!" I tried to argue with his idiotic method of threat.
Zt: "What will you do Mongrel? Sue me? Call a cops on me? It's worthless trying to use such peasent way. I'm the principle, whatever I say, is the rules that shall be enforce." He spoke in the mannerism of a king, no, A tyrant.
I let out a huge sigh and just slouch back into my seat.

After the gymnasiums has been filled with students, those who love chess or from chess clubs and those who's here just to skip time. The light suddenly shut down.
Making all the student went into small moment of panic due to the dim darkness.
Zt: "I guess the guest is here."
Without making any sounds from 12 meters away, in a blink of a seconds. Zt appear in the middle of the gymnasiums. With a headworn microphone and the light focuses on the middle of the gymnasiums.
Zt: "Thank you for the students for coming today."
His voice achoing throughout the gymnasiums, and it was... More formal and human like, unlike when he spoke with Blaze or me... He is so chunnibiyou.
I guess he needs to keep his reputation afterall.
His crimson eye suddenly shoot towards me as if he senses my thought, leaving my heart beating like its about to collapse from shock. My body is frozen with fear.

But Blaze tap my shoulder, pulling me out from the aftershock.
Blaze: "Why are you Zoning out? The first match about to start."
He said as he point to the screen as Zt concluded his speech.
What?! I didn't even realise that. How long has I been in that state??
Woah... Scary stuff happening nowadays.
Zt: "Without any more time to waste, let's see the match of Arisu Sakayanagi from Advance Nurturing High School, playing against Jura High in chess!"
Arisu slowly walking towards the chair.
Arisu: "Such grand opening, its a shame that it will be useless."
Zt slowly walk out off from the gymnasiums.
Phew! Finally he left. I let out a quite sigh of relief.
Zt: "What was that mongrel?"
A voice sounds like from depth of hell just claw out my ears.
Annoucer: "ALRIGHT!! From the chess club, the PRODIGY of first YEAR, Miyamura Izumi from class 1R!!!!!"
Izumi: "Haha... Thank you, thank you."
He said in such shy tone to the annoucer.
Arisu: "Ey, so you will be my first opponent?"

Annoucer: "WHAT I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!? IZUMI MIYAMURA WAS BEATEN IN 12 MOVE??"
The first year student, mainly in the chest club, burst into shock seeing one of the top chess player got beaten so easily.
Arisu: "Oh my.. Such unworthy to call it a warm up."
Her smug face got wider as her eyes shoot up toward Miyamura.
Izumi: "Haha... I guess I need to work on my play."
He accepted defeat with open heart. Izumi walk off to the spectator seat.
Annoucer: "I don't Think Arisu Sakayanagi is the opponent that chess clubs members should be underestimate."
The annoucer take a deep long breath before continuing.
Annoucer: "WITH THE OVERWHELMING DEFEAT OF IZUMI, BRING OUT THE NEXT CHALLENGER!! The second year, the treasurer of Jura High!!, YU ISHIGAMI!!"
Yu: "i-I don't want to be here.."

Annoucer: "WHAT??? ANOTHER OVERWHELMING LOST WITH 17 MOVE??"
Arisu: "is this the top player? Hmmm no wonder this school is so...lame"
Yu: "D-defeat."
The annoucer look to her side as Yu drag himself out from the gymnasiums. The aura around him is so gloomy.
Annoucer: "are you okay?"
The annoucer tried to whisper to Yu but the shaking boy just walk without listening to the annoucer.
Annoucer: "Oh. Oh okay.. ahem. LOOK LIKE JURA HIGH SCHOOL TOP CHESS PLAYER ARE LOSING SO BADLY!! WILL THE NEXT CHALLENGER TAKE THE FIRST WIN???"
Announcer: "THE LEADER OF CHESS CLUB, also The Student Council General Affair, MASACHIKA KUZE!"
Masachika sit infront of the Arisu and went for a handshake. But of course, Arisu the smug Loli, doesn't accept it.
Masachika: "Well.. I didn't expect it to be accepted. But you shouldn't look down on me."
His lips curls into a smug, almost devilish smiles.
Arisu: "Hmm let's see if the dog is all bark,no bites."

Masachika thoughts: "What... I can't find any opening without any of them leading to my own demise."
ALL possible move were a trap, perfectly set by Arisu.
Masachika look up to see Arisu annoying smug face.
He take a deep breath and extend his hand.
Masachika: "Its my defeat."
The crowd burst into shock. The chess club leader, the one that brought many trophy in the name of Jura High, FORFEITED!!?
Announcer: "WHATT????!!!!!!!! MASACHIKA KUZE FORFEIT THE MATCH????"
The noise began to fade as a familiar voice call out my name.
Blaze: "Hey. So do you able to analyse her Playstyle?"
He said while snacking on popcorn, that who know where he got it from.
Me: ".. Sure. From my observation, her Playstyle is logical and efficient, she doesn't take risk but create them for the opponent. Her move is like textbook and each game that she played keep amaze me by how someone can do that."
I stop my analysis and began to wonder. If I can really beat her.
But a strong pat filled with love and motivation hit my back, almost knocking out the air from my lungs.
Blaze: "Don't overthink! You can win against her trust."
I look over to him, to be met with such shining and bright smile.
Me: "mhm.. Yeah, I can't give up if I hadn't try."
I said with burning determination. It's been so long since I've been this fire up.
Blaze: "Yeah yeah. Now go and defeat her."
He grab me by the collar and yeet me perfectly towards the chair in the middle of gymnasiums.

Ahhh damn it. Why do i have to sneak into this room!
