having been there for hours now.
He didn't know what to do; his world had ended so suddenly, no termination paperwork had been handed.
No one had warned him, least of all his long-lost agent.
Rythennia and the Ethereal archangel were two separate beings yet combined and completed each other at the same time.
as had everyone else in this world. The "emperor" title just felt cold now;
If being a villain meant surviving while everyone else didn't,
what was he to do? Just reform?
But that was impossible in his eyes.
His archangel had appeared before him once before, mere years earlier.
So wasn't that the signal he had been looking for?
The one he needed to find in the first place?
Maybe not as much as he had thought.
He walked the paths of the several arcane civilizations that had risen and fallen; to the day they rose and fell, he would never know.
Who was he without his title? Who was he truly?
A person who ruled over masses of people
who attempted to run and run until they couldn't anymore.
Perhaps he was simply in a world of his own, given a second chance, before shattered altruistically for his own dimension,
which had been shattered in order to give this.
he walked through the footpaths which had long since been broken, his head held low, his eyes gone cold like winters in the Antarctica of their own design;
his heart had frozen in place, his chest burned for those who had fallen beneath their organisation, his regret unmatched by anyone else, left alone.
He pondered what he was truly and honestly meant to do, not just what he thought was right.
Ordering the world around while he watched as more planets fell and new ones rose
This happened only every 9,009,542,000,000,000 years, when the fates decided the world needed to be cleansed;
Given that everyone was immortal, it's like a simulation.
When a world and dimension fall,
