HIN-KO is the world's most celebrated Hunter, possessing a unique, overpowered skill that grants him new abilities every time he survives a near-death experience. However, his rise to fame has come at the cost of his conscience: Hin-ko has become cold and materialistic, guided by his meticulous manager, WOON, who helps him prioritize public opinion and profit over true heroism. Hin-ko's last emotional connection is his younger sister, JIN-NA, whose own fireproof ability makes him believe she is safe.

The central conflict begins when Jin-na, growing suspicious of Woon's influence and his unnatural aura, starts tracking her manager's movements. She records her fears and observations in her diary. Woon discovers her suspicion and orchestrates a fatal "accident"—a fire at Jin-na's school—using a fake distress call to lure her to her death. He murders her, ensuring the media blames the chaos of the fire for the tragedy.

The loss shatters Hin-ko, who retreats into a cycle of self-pity and grief, only to be snapped out of it by finding Jin-na's diary. Reading her final entries, Hin-ko pieces together the clues—the inconsistency of her getting burned, the lack of a second body, and her deep suspicion of Woon—realizing his manager is the killer.

Hin-ko confronts Woon in a park. Woon drops the facade, revealing his true identity: he is HELL'S KING, the SSS-Class monster and Dungeon Boss who disappeared ten years ago after the OMINUS GATE incident. The King reveals he spent the last decade regaining strength while posing as Hin-ko’s manager, manipulating the Hunter for cruel entertainment and easy profit.

A final, brutal battle ensues. Hin-ko unleashes his full arsenal of hundreds of skills, but is no match for Hell's King. As the King plunges his hand into Hin-ko’s chest, the Hunter's Awakening triggers one final time, granting him the Skill of Truth. In his dying moments, Hin-ko thinks "if i had a second chance i could save everyone."

Jin-na, Hin-ko, and their parents were just every other family in Seoul until the Gate OMINUS appeared next to Hin-ko's family apartment.


Scanners initially saw it as an F-Grade Dungeon—so weak that an unawakened person could beat it. But on Day 2, the dungeon started to change color.


Before anyone knew what was happening, Rank S Class monsters started to appear, and the highest-ranked monster was a Rank SSS-Class Boss so powerful it could easily destroy countries, named Hell's King.


Immediately, nearby houses turned into war zones, including Hin-ko's family apartment. Thankfully, Hin-ko and his sister were away at school, but their parents were not fortunate. They died within the first ten minutes, which broke Jin-na and Hin-ko.


However, the accident caused the entire population of Seoul to be Awakened with stronger powers than normal awakened people. They managed to kill all the monsters except the boss monster, Hell's King, who disappeared into thin air. To this day, nobody knows where the monster is, but they are sure it's alive.


Hin-ko and Jin-na were too young to fight, but they got awakened along with everybody else.


Jin-na received a skill where she can survive fires without being burned.


Hin-ko got something far more Overpowered (OP): he can get skills just by experiencing them. For example, he fell from a great height, which gave him the skill of surviving long heights. That's just one of the hundreds of skills he has.


On the day of the accident, Hin-ko declared he would kill every single monster. But along his journey to gain skills, he got greedy and forgot his sole reason to become a Hunter. He became soulless for money, even letting a mom die because saving kids earned him more public love. The public loves him, even though they have no idea what a monster he truly is.
