The Bronx, New York City — Night
The moonlight tonight was beautiful—perfect for a quiet walk… or something far darker.
A gentle breeze brushed through the open window, soft as a whisper against the skin. For a moment, it almost felt comforting—until the voice in Damian's head shattered the illusion:
"I'll twist your head off!"
In the dim glow of the living room, Damian sat slumped on the couch, his clothes rumpled, eyes hollow and unfocused. He looked like someone who'd just lost everything—like a person dragged through hell and left broken on the other side.
If he showed up in New York City looking like this… well, let's just say he wouldn't be walking—or talking—anytime soon.
Across from him, the television flickered with a breaking news bulletin:
"This is the Daily Bugle, reporting an urgent development.
According to multiple sources, Stark Industries CEO Tony Stark was ambushed by unidentified militants during a weapons demonstration in Afghanistan. His current whereabouts are unknown, and his condition remains uncertain.
The U.S. military and Stark Industries have jointly issued a **$50 million reward** for any credible information leading to Mr. Stark's location or recovery.
Tips can be submitted anonymously via the channels listed on-screen.
In a statement, Stark Industries spokesperson Pepper Potts said: 'Mr. Stark's safety is our highest priority. Anyone who provides actionable assistance will receive the full reward and legal protection.'"
Damian squeezed his eyes shut, a sharp pain lancing through his temples.
*Marvel?*
*I actually got isekai'd into the Marvel Universe?*
He let out a bitter laugh. Of all the places to end up—New York City, a nexus of superhuman chaos, alien invasions, and world-ending threats. It was the kind of place where even cosmic entities thought twice before stepping foot.
Chitauri armies. Sentinels hunting mutants. Skrull infiltrators. And that was just *Tuesday*.
At this rate, surviving the week would be a miracle.
He groaned, dragging a hand down his face. "That damn semi-truck…"
The impact had been instantaneous—no warning, no time to react. If the cops were lucky, they'd spent hours sifting through wreckage just to fill a single evidence bag. If not… well, some things couldn't even be cremated cleanly.
After a long string of muttered curses—directed squarely at the truck driver, fate, and the universe itself—Damian finally took a deep breath and forced himself to think.
His current body belonged to an ordinary international student: a 12th grader at Midtown High, with no special powers, no rich family, and no safety net. His parents had returned to their home country years ago, barely keeping in touch. The only proof they remembered him was the monthly deposit that barely covered rent and ramen.
Honestly, if they'd cared even a little, he wouldn't be sitting here alone in a dark apartment in the Bronx, wondering whether jumping to his death would be faster than waiting for the next supervillain to level the block.
But suicide wasn't his style.
No—if he was stuck in the Marvel Universe, he'd find a way to survive. Maybe even thrive.
First things first: figure out *when* exactly he was. Pre-Avengers? Post-blip? And more importantly—was Peter Parker still in school?
Because if there was one thing Damian knew for sure, it was this:
In a world full of gods, monsters, and geniuses in metal suits…
**an ordinary guy needed a very good plan.**
He closed his eyes and immersed his consciousness in his mind. There, a ball of light awaited—and the moment his awareness entered, it was swallowed whole by the luminous sphere.

The local leaders granted the Wind Elf's request—but with a condition: it could only begin its journey from the eastern coast, cross mountain ravines and rolling hills, follow the sandy banks of streams and rivers, and traverse countless miles before reaching the traveler.
And so, the wind spirit set out. Along the way, it carried dandelion seeds farther than before, lifted the wings of fledgling birds, and turned the blades of windmills. Through these acts of kindness—caressing the earth and aiding those in need—the spirit slowly condensed into human form.
It met the traveler at the end of the road.

Although this starter package isn't particularly valuable, at least Damian now has something to help him get by.
Especially thanks to Grandpa Lu!
No one knows for sure whether the legend of him traveling alone to the Northern Continent to challenge the Fatui is true. Some say Uncle Lu was kicked out of the Fatui circle; others claim he engaged them in a one-on-one duel—man to man, honor to honor.
Whatever the truth, one thing is clear: Master Lu's strength is no joke. Among all wielders of the Eye of God, he's undoubtedly one of the strongest.
In the Marvel universe, as long as you avoid titans like Hulk, Thor, the Ancient One, or the Sentinels, most opponents shouldn't be too hard to handle.
…Wait.
Why do I automatically assume I'll be fighting the *good guys* instead of the villains?!
Shaking off these strange thoughts, Damian glanced again at the "Raw Stones" column. The interface clearly showed a gacha pool from which cards could be drawn.
But how to obtain Raw Stones? That was a major problem.
An even bigger issue: this plug-in came with no system guide, no AI assistant—nothing.
It seemed he'd have to figure everything out on his own.
