"Where am I?"
Ethan groggily woke up from his sleep.
Looking around him, he was in his room.
'But how did I get here?' He asked himself.
Last I remember, I was in the office.
Getting up from the bed, Ethan went to the window and opened the curtain.
The next second, Ethan's eyes widen in horror.
The smell of blood was thick in the air; cars were blocking the road, and some were on fire.
The streets were covered in blood and dead bodies.
It was a scene straight out of a horror movie.
WTF, Ethan exclaimed loudly.
"What the hell is going on?"
As he was thinking about what was going on, someone loudly started to bang on his door.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Startled, Ethan slowly went near the door and put his ear near the door.
Low growls and moans could be heard from the other side.
Grgh!! Grgh!!
Scared, Ethan took a step back.
He didn't know what was going on, but he had an idea.
After some time the banging on the door stopped, and Ethan took a breath of relief.
After which he took a relatively heavy table and dragged it in front of the door.
Silently going back to the window, he took a peek outside.
Ethan was a big fan of anime and novels.
So isekai, transmigration, and reincarnation were concepts he was familiar with.
And the horror he saw outside the window made him believe that some kind of war had happened, or worse, it was an apocalypse that was going on, but what type of apocalypse he had no idea until the loud banging on the door.
Streets filled with dead bodies and blood, cars on fire—everything pointed to one thing.
As he peeked out the window, he saw it.
His guess was right.
Zombies, he whispered.
