'Great, now my phone is about to be dead when I'm supposed to clear my work.' Damien
thought to himself while staring at his phone. He's a workaholic and if not for his assistant, aka best friend, for forcing him to take a break, he will still be in his office suit working non-stop.
He came upon a girl, prolly 8 years younger than him, curly hair, dark skin tone
that looks delicious to taste. "Hi, umm can I borrow your portable charger there? My phone is going flat soon," he asked while watching the girl typing away on her laptop and it took her a minute to look up at him and that's when
Damien knew this girl is ethereal beauty.
"I'm sorry. What did you say?" her voice… her voice was something that Damien tried
to imprint in his brain so that he could play it again and again. He will die to hear her sweet voice ever again even though she looks like a student. "Heh, I asked if I could borrow your portable charger there. My phone is going flat
soon," he doesn't mind repeating it to her again as long as he gets to hear her again. He was hoping that she would have a portable so that he could find the excuse to seat next to her and talk to her.
"Ohh yea sure sorry. I was distracted for a little bit. Yea sure you can borrow it. Here" now Damien prayers were answered, and it seems like the first 5 minutes have been going according to his plans. He asked the beauty if he could sit next to her and she scooted over a little bit for him to place his things on
her mat.
"So, what's your name?" the beauty asked and that's when Damien notice her kissable
lips, plump breast in her black bikini and curly hair being half-tied in a
ponytail.
"Damien. Damien Owens. And I'm guessing your name is Nadia?" Damien asked while
inspecting her portable charger that has a name on it that looks like her writing. Her eyes went wide after she realised that Damien had said her name only after he pointed out to her portable that Damien could sense that she must have felt like an idiot for writing her name and not knowing it afterwards.
"So, Nadia what brings you here to the beach?" Damien asked after getting the basics
out of the equation. Nadia looks at him again and this time Damien was thinking about kissing her lips and forgetting about everything else. "Ohh I just need some time to wind down from all the stress from school and life. What about you?" her voice was so sweet that Damien thought of recording it in front of
her.
"Same, just minus the school part since I'm already in the working field." Damien
replied to her without taking his eyes from her. He notices that her phone keeps ringing and she always tries to switch it off while trying to pay attention to him. "Something or someone bothering you?" he couldn't help but to
ask every time he sees her frown.
"No no… it's just my ex-boyfriend keeps calling me and it's getting annoying. But I'm fine, thank you." Only then did Nadia gave him her warm smiles that could melt any person's heart. In this instance, Damien felt like keeping her
protected especially from that 'ex-boyfriend' of hers. They have a pretty convincing conversation until her phone keeps ringing again and this time round Damien wishes he's the one to pick-up her phone and telling the other side not to bother her ever again.
"Umm Damien, I think I have to go. You can keep the portable and it's okay, you don't have to return it to me." Nadia was trying to pack her things as quickly as her hands could move.
