The parchment Kyle handed to Grindelwald recorded the recent operations of their Akatsuki organization in Albania.
Grindelwald had long known that Akatsuki was staging a coup d'état.
The initial group following Pain's Six Paths to expand their territory in Albania were, after all, the Acolytes under his own command.
Thus, it was entirely normal for Grindelwald to be aware of the situation.
However, once the situation over there stabilized, Kyle had recalled that group of people.
From that point onward, Grindelwald was no longer privy to the developments there, nor did he dispatch any more people, for knowing that the Akatsuki organization belonged to his son was reason enough.
The primary reason Kyle handed this note to his old man was to bring Grindelwald up to speed on Akatsuki's movements.
That way, when Grindelwald took the fall for him in front of Dumbledore, he could do so far more convincingly.
If Dumbledore knew that the mess in Albania was Grindelwald's doing, he would at most offer a few words of reprimand and refrain from sending any more people over to pry for information.
Lupin was already in his thirties—well past his youth and still a virgin. How could Dumbledore have the heart to encroach upon the man's off-duty hours, leaving Lupin with no time to find a girlfriend and condemning him to stay single?
So, best to let poor Lupin have a rest.
Kyle had, in fact, overheard a piece of gossip about Lupin through White Zetsu.
After Lupin managed to slip past Akatsuki's intelligence network and stealthily enter Albania, Kyle had temporarily halted the deployment of White Zetsu within the UK, opting to properly cultivate his own domain in Albania first.
Now, within the borders of Albania, virtually anywhere wizards were present, several White Zetsu would be stationed to eavesdrop on everything.
Akatsuki's control over Albania was almost completely unprecedented.
With White Zetsu around, Lupin could be said to have zero privacy whatsoever in Albania.
Even the fact that he stealthily stared at a girl's photograph under his blanket while sleeping at night was faithfully recorded by the highly dutiful White Zetsu.
Kyle remembered that the girl seemed to be an upperclasswoman from their Hufflepuff House named Nymphadora Tonks, currently an intern Auror in the Auror Office at the British Ministry of Magic.
He had no idea when Lupin had taken a liking to her; as far as Kyle recalled, the two hardly had any intersection.
The only occasion they could have met was a while back when Fudge brought people to take him away from Hogwarts—Tonks had been blended into that group of Aurors he drove back with Fiendfyre.
Surely Lupin couldn't have fallen for Tonks at first glance amidst the crowd back then?
Just because I looked at you once more among the crowd, now I miss you to the point of insomnia?
When on earth did this wolf cub manage to get her photograph?
It was truly terrifying upon closer thought.
It seemed he would have to find a time to play matchmaker for this bachelor wolf. The guy was well into his thirties and still a lifelong single.
Of the Marauders four-man crew that had once swept through Hogwarts, Lupin was the only one left all by himself.
Though James was dead, he had at least married Lily Evans, the Gryffindor flower of their time, and the two even had a son named Harry.
And while Sirius Black had no wife, back during his Hogwarts days, he had been quite the veteran heartthrob thanks to that handsome face of his.
Not to mention he now had Harry as his godson, so he could hardly be considered a lone soul.
As for Peter Pettigrew—as everyone knew, it was common knowledge that the Marauders four-man crew only ever had three members; that traitor couldn't be counted as human and wasn't included among the Marauders.
Just as Kyle was plotting how to help the wolf cub escape singlehood, Grindelwald's voice interrupted his train of thought.
"You want me to take the fall for you on this matter so Albus stops sending people to pry over there, correct?"
Kyle nodded vigorously. "Precisely, precisely! Dad, you're brilliant!"
He ran behind Grindelwald and attentively began massaging his old man's shoulders.
If Kyle was a thriving, newly sprouted tree, then he was the deep root beneath the tree firmly anchoring itself into the soil.
Taking a blame for his son was hardly a major issue for Grindelwald, the Dark Lord of the Wizarding World, so Grindelwald agreed without a second thought.
Seeing Grindelwald nod, a smile curled at the corners of Kyle's lips.
With Grindelwald taking the fall for him, Akatsuki could finally cut loose in Albania and extend its tentacles to neighboring countries that fell outside the jurisdiction of the International Confederation of Wizards.
Glancing at the calendar on the desk, a considerable amount of time had passed since the holidays began.
Kyle felt that in a few days, it would be about time to pay a visit to the Black ancestral home.
Meanwhile, at 4 Privet Drive.
"Get out!" An incensed roar echoed through the Dursley household.
Ever since Harry returned here, the Dursley home hadn't known a single day of peace; it was virtually a small row every two days and a massive fight every three.
In the past, the relationship between Harry and the Dursleys wouldn't have deteriorated to this point.
At most, the three Dursleys would simply pretend Harry didn't exist—they hadn't forgotten the tank that blasted off their roof with a tank shell that night.
With their lives threatened, the family had very wisely chosen to back down and stopped bossing Harry around.
Yet that didn't mean Harry could act like a tyrant in the Dursley household.
Restricted by the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery, Harry, unable to cast spells, could only sit bored in his room every day staring blankly at the calendar, eagerly anticipating the arrival of Hogwarts' opening day.
Fortunately, Harry had now mastered a small fraction of wandless magic techniques, so staying at home during the holidays wasn't completely tedious anymore.
Initially, when the Ministry of Magic detected magical fluctuations around Privet Drive where Harry resided, they would send Harry warning letters lecturing him about not casting spells outside of school during holidays.
However, Kyle had taught Harry a set of excuses: write back to the Ministry of Magic and invite them to come in person to perform a Prior Incantato test on his wand.
As long as he performed wandless magic, the Ministry of Magic couldn't catch anything on him.
As for magical fluctuations—underage wizards going through adolescent rebellion occasionally experienced intense emotional surges that triggered accidental magic outbreaks. Was there a problem with that?
If accidental magic were controllable, it wouldn't be called an outbreak.
Thus, after Ministry personnel came to conduct tests twice, they simply left Harry to his own devices.
Able to cast spells freely outside of school, Harry was now completely letting loose.
Concurrently, however, his relationship with the Dursleys steadily nose-dived.
Until today, when Vernon, pushed past the brink of endurance, directly packed up Harry's luggage and threw it out.
