Zaya entered the elevator along with Zoey. To her surprise, it had a sofa on both angles with two vases filled with red roses on the sides, and a medium TV hung on the wall. Zoey walked up towards the button area as she tapped on a particular button, she then turned back facing Zaya as she spoke, "we are going to the top floor, Zaya," "hold on tight," "But this looks really comfortable," Zaya said, slightly confused, Zoey then said, "How about now?," "This is the best part," she pressed some button codes on her nano wrist watch.
The speed of the elevator increased, almost sending the standing Zaya falling on the sofas. Soon they arrived at their destination, Zaya stepped outside and was greeted by the sweet scent of various perfumes. She gazed at the area, it was a restaurant filled with highly rich people, it was obvious because of their looks and characters.
"Come with me," Zoey said, as she held Zaya's hand, dragging her into the midst of the classy crowd. They finally left the party hall and then they entered the manual exit. They began to walk deeper, Zaya could see the light bulbs that were once formally bright were getting dimmer as the seconds passed.
She began to get a cringe feeling about all that was going on. What if Zoey's mum didn't have good intentions towards her, she thought. But Zaya decided she shouldn't jump into conclusions or doubt, she herself hadn't known too much about what's going on, like where the Ancient diamond stones of each clan were kept, and she could use this opportunity to get more information.
They entered a completely dark, narrow way. Zoey put on a torch and walked towards a black door ahead, there was a pass code kept on the door. Zoey typed in the pass code so fast, Zaya could never have traced it, The room unlocked, inside where filled with a bunch of people.
At the back of the room were a lot of workers typing on computers continuously, while at the front stood three majestically, as they were staring at the wide screens in front of them. One of them, a woman with red hair dressed as an assassin, she held a tablet in her hand as she stared at the screen, Another wore a black suit with a black dyed hair, from his looks, he was a middle-aged man, while the other was a woman dressed exactly like the red-haired woman but with a mask on her face.
Zaya felt she recognized the masked woman from somewhere, but she didn't bother about it too much, after all, it might have just been a coincidence, she thought. She stared at a huge symbol on the wall beside the screens, it was a large logo "W" Written below it was "WMCO".
Zoey, who was beside Zaya, then called, "Mum, I've brought her." Zoey's mum wore some high heels matching her all-black outfit with two katanas by her sides, she was the one with the red hair. Zaya wondered, shocked, what were two swords doing in the hands of a billionaire.
Zoey's mum then turned away from the screens facing the two girls, Zaya was now certain why she wore the heels and Kantanas in the first place, She was Japanese, though none of that seemed to have reflected on Zoey.
"You're sure it's her?" Zoey's mum asked, "yes, she is the one," Zoey confirmed, "Come closer, Zaya," Zoey's mum beckoned, Zaya walked closer, "turned the video up," Zoey's mum spoke, facing the workers with computers placed at their front.
Zaya stared at the wide screen, a video appeared, her eyes set on it. The video played, it was a large larva river, so high, even if three average humans stand on top of each other, they won't reach half of its height.
There was a purple fox, she could see the fox holding a helpless girl in her arms as she was swerving amongst the falling debris, she saw how the purple fox got hit by a large rock that sent a searing pain all through its back.
She saw the fox twirled frantically, throwing the girl upwards, Zaya was stunned, she hadn't known how far and calculated she'd threw Zoey until she saw it herself, She saw how the weak Zoey weaved through hundreds of rocks in a very quick manner.
Then a random rock split into two, spoiling the rhythm the fox foresaw, then Zaya heard a loud and mighty growl, it was so loud, it sent the speakers hissing, she saw how thousands of great rocks backed away and exploded as what seemed like a purple comet teared through the air.
Zaya couldn't believe her eyes, she herself feared what she was, then the video was paused, Zaya was still staring at the screen, her look dumbfounded. "Zaya?" "Are you there?" "Uhn, yes, of course, am here," Zaya smiled to Zoey, Zoey smiled, "That's the exact look we had when we saw it too, Zaya."
"Zaya?" Zoey's mum called, "Walk with me," she said, as she began walking out of the rooms towards another. Zaya hurried towards her. They entered a secluded area, another dark door at their front, she then faced Zaya and asked, "Zaya, why do you fight, is it for fame, for power, for glory, for riches?" "Think carefully before you answer, Zaya."
Zaya had a deep sigh, this was a complicated question, and she won't wish to answer it wrongly, She thought, was it because of her fox clan, after those two foxes died, Zaya had always wanted to avenge them. Was it to save the world, she thought, There was no point in that, after all, chaos would always return.
Zaya then made her mind up, facing Zoey's mum, she said, "I fight to protect my loved ones." "My name is Chinami," the red-haired woman said, as she smiled, then walked towards a black door ahead of them.
Zaya's purple eyes glowed as she got a glimpse of what the pass code was. Chinami opened the door and gestured for Zaya to walk in, Zaya was shocked. The sight of a thousand ninjas graced her. They were all moving rhythmically in fighting stances and battle arts. They expanded as far as the eyes could see.
"Welcome to our organization, Zaya," "It's top secret," Chinami said, facing the trainees. "Our main aim is to wipe out evil magic from the face of the earth in order to protect our loved ones." "We are asking you to join us, Zaya, please consider this offer."
