Silva started panting heavily as the exhaustion started to seep in. He would not have felt it if he had been absorbing the energy from the forests, but Chiron had told him that training should be done in the most tiring situation ever possible. Chiron advised that increasing the strength of the body while not absorbing the energy from nature will in turn help him become even more stronger when he is absorbing it.
Silva can understand the logic behind it, but even then this was an extremely tiring exercise. He remembered training with the beasts within Pan's dimension for some time, but that does not even come close to the training he is going through right now.
But he knew he had no choice in the matter. After he fell asleep in Artemis's cabin, he was woken up in the morning by Chiron so that no other campers can see him come through the door. After that, Chiron started his training which Silva was undergoing right now without any complaints.
Chiron POV
Chiron had trained many demigods for centuries ever since he was born from the essence of Kronos. But he can say without any doubt that he had never seen a demigod with latent potential similar to Silva.
Hercules, Perceus, Achillis etc were his greatest students, but their powers were one of the main reasons for their fame and achievements. Silva too had one such power, the power to grow stronger in the presence of forests while also having the ability to gain friendship from the creatures of the forest.
But even without it, the speed, strength and battle aptitude was way off the charts when compared to a normal demigod. Chiron could feel the dread as he imagined a scenario where Silva is kidnapped and used as a weapon against them in the future.
'The potential he shows is almost limitless, I need to make sure that he is strong enough to face the waves of the future' Chiron decided as he planned to increase Silva's training.
Two years pass, Silva is currently seven years old.
Silva can be called as one of the strongest asset in the camp half-blood right now, he uses a wooden bow to fight, and his skills while using it had surpassed even the strongest members of the Apollo cabin.
Plus, the hunters of Artemis periodically appear in camp so as to recruit the female members for their group. And Silva found out that it was this year. So as a person who had not lost his character he had in his last life. he took the best possible route to deal with the awkwardness of meeting his mother.
"Director can I ask for a leave of few weeks, I would like to use the leaves allotted to every employee for working in the camp farm for two years"
"Employee leave, huh. That's the route you wanna go kid" Dionysus had a judging look in his eye as he heard what Silva said. But he sighed as he replied.
"Well granted, so get out here before you ruin my mood kid" he said as he went back to chugging coke from a wine glass.
It did not take an hour for Silva to run and take the next bus straight to Manhattan.
He wanted to find out whether he can find Percy Jackson by just going around the town and lo and behold he did. He was watching as Sally Jackson was slowly taking Percy away from a cyclops which seemed hell bend on having demigod stew today.
'Looks like his lucks bad' Silva thought as he let go of the arrow from his bow which went straight through the cyclops's eye till it reached the other side of his head.
Sally Jackson at the time was shocked to find the monster killed and even more shocked at seeing a seven-year-old boy coming near her with a bow and arrow.
"Hello there, my name is Silva, are you alright" Silva greeted the mother who suffered for years just to keep her child safe from harm.
At the time at camp.
The hunters were looking everywhere for their liege's child and while asking a few campers, they were able to find out information about a boy with silver white hair and silver eyes who matched the age of their leader's child. But they were disappointed to know that the child left camp some time ago.
But from the other female campers, they were able to secretly learn many information about him before they returned back to their liege and reported about everything.
After hearing the reports, Artemis had a sad smile on her face.
"Huh, I can't blame that child for hating me I suppose. He must have remembered me abandoning him in the middle of the forest"
"No , my liege it must be a misunderstanding. According to what we learned, Silva is a really smart child, he is strong as well. I'm sure he must have gone out for other reasons" Zoe tried her best to console her liege.
"Are you saying that a child who had never left that place for two years left at the same time my hunters came across to get new members" Artemis asked and her hunters had no answer.
Artemis shook her head with the same sad smile and stood
"Dionysus warned me about it, so I can only accept it. As long as he is safe, it does not matter whether he hates me or not" Artemis declared but her hunters were able to hear a slight shiver in her words by the end.
At the same time, Silva was having a good time while living in the Jackson household.
After saving Sally Jackson, she invited him to her home seeing that he had not found a place to stay in for the next few weeks he was planning on staying in Manhattan.
As a thank you for her courtesy, Silva taught her the basics of manipulating mist. He demonstrated it by directly manipulating Gabe and turning him into a puppet who moves by order.
Silva did not feel any discomfort in doing so as he had used the mist to find out Gabe's crimes and half of them are more than enough for him to be in prison for the rest of his life.
