As Celina sat by herself by the corridor of the hospital, her hands wrapped with bandages along side he left leg, she couldn't help but to feel depressed due to her previous mission. She flashbacked Into a few days ago, she Velderon and Void stood face to face with a giant bear that was about thirty five feet tall. It's body was nothing but pure flesh and bones glowing red, it steamed as it growled at them. Celina asked while injured "Is everyone okay?", Velderon, still standing, but with his hands badly injured replied "Yeah, I sure am.". Celina asked "What about you, Void?", Void tried standing up "It's no use. My legs given out. The only thing i can do now is use void manipulation to create space for us just so we won't get killed. I still have a ton of energy left, so I can still fight.". Celina greeted her teeth while thinking "What the hell is this thing? It's taller than even lion beasts! And it's body, what the hell is wrong with it?!", Velderon asked "Celina. You have a plan?", Celina replied "I have a few. The only thing we can do In this kind of scenario is to either overpower it, or run.". Velderon and Void looked at her "Huh?", Celina replied, restraint In her voice "Don't make me say it twice! I know running is something we don't do. We've never ran away from an enemy, not even once. But if we keep moving like this, we're going to die.", she was almost crying. Void and Velderon looked at each other, understanding where Celina is coming from. Celina explained "The bear is out of stamina too, it's only waiting for us to make the first move so it can land a kill us with one strike.", she started to charge up some more energy. As a result, her hair turned green in colour, her hands started having black markings on them as well, and her feet were steady. On her second hand, another sword appeared "We're going to go with the second plan. Void!", she called out, Void stretched out his hand, a huge wave shooting out of his palms and blasting the bear backwards, only that the bear still had a grip of itself despite it being sent flying. Celina turned to Velderon "VELDERON!", she called out. Velderon's arms charged with lava "Got it!", he replied and proceeded to shoot out a wave of lava. Celina turned back "Now run!", herself, Void and Velderon started running. Out of the wave of lava, the bear came rushing out, ready to kill them, Celina turned back with annoyance and then sent countless waves of slashes at it "AAAH!", she yelled as her hands waved around at despicable levels of speed while the environment around her crumbled to rubble. Velderon and Void were both stunned "No way!", she turned back "What are you all waiting for?! Run!", she and the rest of her team made a run for it. The bears head stuck out of the debries caused by Celina's slashes "AAAAAAH!", it roared out and shot an energy beam at them. Void turned around and shot a wave of energy at the attack, another explosion blew the forest around them apart. Currently, Celina was sitted in the hospital corridor, she balled up "We failed our mission! We weren't strong enough. If we hadn't ran away, we'll have died. Why?! We've captured criminals before! We've killed drug Lords and rouge assassins. We've even gone on a few war missions! So why?! Why did we fail?!". Rimeta was passing by when she saw Celina crying all by herself. She didn't feel anything initially, but then she sighed "It's alright. You came back alive, didn't you? That alone should be enough.". By the time Celina looked upwards to see who had said that to her, there was no one there "Who was that?", she asked herself, tears in her eyes. Celina stood up and dusted herself "I'll come back and check up on them.", she thought to herself before leaving. As she walked through the city streets on her way to the training camp, she thought to herself "I wonder how Volt is doing. I should probably go say hi. The training camp allows boys and girls to see each other after 10:00AM. He should be at his room. Nah, I should go to my dorms first.". As she walked by herself, a smug voice greeted her "Hey!", Celina's sad mood changed to annoyance and cold anger. Behind her was Fred who stood a few feet away from her. His back rested on a wall "I heard your team couldn't handle a simple hunting mission. Sucks to be you.", Celina turned back "What do you want?!". Fred stood straight, hands raised up "Hey, hey! I didn't come here to fight. I only came to see you.". Celina asked, her eyes filled with anger "You're dating Gwen, aren't you? How the hell do you think she'd feel when she realizes that you're scum?", Fred thought for a moment "Gwen? You mean Star babe? Oh, her. She and I are pretty cool. And plus, our relationship is between us and us only.". Fred walked towards Celina, hands in his pockets and a smirk on his face. He said to her in her ear "Today's the day that both boys and girls come to the dinner together. After all, tomorrow's the day everyone goes back home and then heads out for the war. I'm going to make sure that this night will be your most heart breaking nightmare of your life.", his smirk became even more smug and unhinged before he walked off. Celina looked at him, anger and frustration on her face, she was almost crying while biting her lips. At Yuji's house, Yuji was on the living room floor breathing heavily. As he fuffed, he had what seemed to be a bandage with ancient symbols on his arm "So you're saying when a Takanoguro has reached that state of power, anything can happen?", Nagumo replied "Yes. It's the most crucial standpoint of our lives. If we don't do the ritual I just performed on you, there's no telling what can happen to you. Although, its not all Takanoguro's that go through the phase of their authority mark being a tatoo like mark on their bodies.".Yuji stood up "I don't even want to know what can happen to me.", he looked at his grandfather with a straight face "Thanks grandpa.", he walked past him and went straight to his room. Nagumo looked at his grandson as he left the living room "Yuji....", he smiled "You're welcome.".
