Chapter 6: The First Fallen
"How... how is this possible?"
Wang Zhi's roar caused a small "sonic storm" inside the observation room of Tianding University.
As someone who possessed a transcendent world, this was an unconscious reaction.
But this sudden outburst made the other instructors in the room suffer miserably.
"Crash!"
Several instructors joined forces to dispel the small storm before finally turning their attention to the world Wang Zhi was observing.
And in the next second, their expressions turned exactly like his.
"In the prototype of this world... there are actually dozens of energy conversion formulas!"
One of the instructors exclaimed in astonishment after seeing the basic framework of the Endless Abyss world.
They had heard rumors that Chu Hao's graduation project contained dozens of energy conversion formulas.
But hearing was one thing—seeing it with their own eyes was another.
"How on earth did he pull this off?" one instructor asked in disbelief. "If I remember correctly, the record in Tianding University's history of graduation projects is twelve!"
Another rubbed his temple, struggling to believe it. "Isn't he afraid his divine realm will explode?"
"No, he's not afraid," Wang Zhi's cold voice cut through the room.
His bloodshot eyes locked tightly on Chu Hao's world projection.
"He's a genius."
"I don't know how he did it, but he cleverly used some kind of chaotic rule to fuse all the energy conversion formulas within his divine realm!"
"Look closely—though these formulas are constantly clashing and fighting for dominance across the planes, they're slowly merging together!"
"A genius! Truly the thought process of a genius!"
Wang Zhi took a deep breath.
"I admit, in all of Tianding University's history, no one has ever tried to use 'Chaos' as the Dao of a divine world."
"Could it be... this Chu Hao guy..." He looked up, Chu Hao's figure flashing in his mind.
"Really found a way to build a low-dimensional world?"
---
On the other side, Chu Hao was injecting the final energy conversion formula into his Endless Abyss world.
As a flash of red light passed, another formula—"Bloodline Inheritance"—joined the ranks of dozens already within the abyss.
"Phew... finally done."
Looking at the now-living Endless Abyss, Chu Hao took a long breath, letting his tense nerves relax.
The Endless Abyss had gradually evolved from nothing into something.
The rules of time and space were established, gravity and elements had been activated, and the completion of energy rules gave the world a dynamic environment.
Such a complex and ever-changing ecosystem should soon give birth to life—or even a world will before that.
"According to the graduation project process, the next step is to design life forms or a world consciousness."
"The purpose of creating life is twofold."
"One, to draw power from souls as faith to strengthen divine fire."
"Two, because the strength of the creatures themselves is part of the grading criteria."
But a major problem soon appeared...
Chu Hao closed his eyes and carefully observed the entire Endless Abyss, sighing.
"The environment is still too chaotic."
"Although it will eventually evolve into abyssal creatures, the harshness might kill off the first generation too quickly..."
"Time's running short."
It had been about a week since the project began.
During that week, Chu Hao had been perfecting the world's framework, without interfering in biological development.
Although his divine fire value far exceeded his peers, that alone couldn't make up for the absence of living beings.
Only when life is born can a world truly be considered complete.
"Luckily, I have the system. It should give me some reference plans."
He closed his eyes and checked the "Life Creation Options."
"Thousands of them... too many." He frowned. "Filter one that can create the strongest combat beings in the shortest time."
The system quickly provided a plan.
After glancing at it, Chu Hao hesitated.
"This plan... uses my soul fragment as the base?"
"Then nurture the first naturally fallen soul within the abyss..."
"Use that soul as fuel, repeatedly breaking and reforming it, letting its fragments fuse into different abyssal planes..."
"In the end, creating dozens of species adapted to each layer of the abyss."
"And then... I use my soul affinity to personally become the new abyssal will, ruling all creatures of the Endless Abyss?"
Chu Hao examined the plan carefully.
"Worth a try."
He closed his eyes, transferring all his consciousness into the Endless Abyss.
His divine fire flared, and a small fragment of his soul was drawn out.
That fragment pierced through the dimensional wall and slowly descended into the Endless Abyss.
The moment it appeared, the entire abyss stirred.
The once lifeless void now pulsed as if it had gained awareness.
All the planes began instinctively fighting over that soul fragment.
The upper layers moved first, trying to attract it with their nature.
But from the lower, darker layers—closer to the low-dimensional region—came an even stronger pull.
"Fall..."
The soul fragment was irresistibly drawn downward, continuing to fall.
"Fall..."
As it descended, countless abyssal planes poured "nourishment" into it.
It was slowly becoming more complete—evolving from a fragment into a true soul.
Countless sinister spirits from every plane stared greedily at it, fighting for ownership like rabid beasts.
And through this endless struggle, the fragment kept falling—
Until it reached the very bottom of the Endless Abyss.
The first soul ever drawn into the abyss...
The First Fallen...
Was born.
