I clicked my tongue softly.
"This jerk…"
Yan Mo glanced at me once after hearing that, but said nothing. He simply walked ahead toward the others while Li Shan finished tying the last basket securely.
The sky above the forest had already started darkening again.
Traveling through the mountains at night after carrying this many supplies would only slow everyone down and increase the danger.
So not long later, Li Shan spoke seriously.
"We should rest here tonight and leave at sunrise tomorrow."
No one disagreed.
Honestly, everyone looked exhausted already.
Han Li nearly looked emotional after hearing they would not continue walking immediately.
"Finally," she muttered while lowering her basket carefully. "I thought my shoulders were going to separate from my body."
Wu Lian rolled her eyes.
"You say that every few hours."
"Because every few hours my suffering increases."
Li Shan ignored both of them and started checking the area properly before setting up camp.
