Chapter 1 - Part oneThe beginning after the end

In 2025, on a quiet summer night, the streets of Valentia were falling asleep under the dim lights, while the asphalt, wet with the night breeze, reflected the faint glow of neon.

Two young men, Leo and Alex, were strolling leisurely, chatting cheerfully, oblivious to the unknown fate that the sky held.

Alex gazed at the clear sky and said,

"Imagine if a meteor suddenly fell and wiped out the whole city? At least we'd be spared tomorrow's exams."

Leo laughed as he chewed a piece of cake:

"If a meteorite falls, I hope it falls on my house, maybe the insurance will cover the losses!"

But the joke didn't last long.

Suddenly, a strange light flashed in the sky, yellow tinged with red, growing brighter by the moment, until it seemed as if day had broken in the middle of the night.

Leo's face paled as he said:

"What is that? It's not a star... It's moving at an unnatural speed!"

Suddenly, the celestial body appeared clearly. A huge meteor pierced the Earth's atmosphere, glowing with cosmic fire, without any warning, and without any signs.

Sirens began to wail throughout the city, followed by emergency alerts across the continent. Scientists were shocked, as international space agencies had not recorded any approach and had not detected any movement from deep space. It seemed as if the meteor had come out of nowhere.

In less than a minute, the meteorite struck the center of the continent of Naveria, causing an indescribable explosion that destroyed the heart of the continent and leveled great cities to the ground. Nothing was spared, except for the distant peripheries.

The fall was followed by a terrible silence... then the world began to collapse.

Technology disappeared, everything that ran on electricity or artificial intelligence malfunctioned, and humanity returned to a darkness it had not known for centuries. Soon, the earth was filled with hideous creatures—monsters unlike anything from this world, as if they had emerged from nightmares buried deep in time.

People thought this was the end of humanity.

But after a thousand years of chaos, a new era began to take shape.

Humans appeared who could control strange powers—magic. With it, supernatural martial arts were born, and the continent became an arena for the struggle for survival. In the midst of this chaos, the "Adventurers' Guild" was founded, bringing together those who dared to face the unknown, coveting glory, wealth... Or perhaps survival.

The heroes: Bilal, Selika, Marco, Kim, and Loki were among the elite mercenaries classified as SS, one of the highest ranks.

Introduction: The Iron Flame Guild

The air was thick with the smell of sweat, iron, and old books.

In a large hall with dim crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, five people entered steadily. Their steps were not heavy, but they were laden with history. Each of them had a story, and in their eyes was a war that had not yet ended.

Bilal was the first to walk through the door.

His black hair was carefully combed back, and his sharp brown eyes suggested that he could see what others could not. His athletic body was well-proportioned, neither too large nor too thin, but he moved with the confidence of a fighter who knew his weight with every blow. Then, without looking back, he said, "We are here to accomplish our mission. We will not waste time."

Behind him, Selika walked lightly, her long brown hair flowing like a calm flame and her orange eyes scanning the hall as if weighing every element in it. She muttered as she ran her fingers over the walls of the union, "The traces of the Mana here are old, but they still pulsate... It's an interesting place." Marco needed no words.

Short and broad-shouldered, his muscles were visible even under his coat, stained with traces of coal and fire. His hands were like iron from all the hammering on swords. "This place smells of cheap iron... Their blacksmith took a few lessons."

Then Kim entered, looking like a shadow, tall and thin, his white hair tied back, wearing black clothes resembling those of assassins. He was very quiet, rarely speaking even to his companions.

Finally, there was Loki, tall with yellow hair that shone whenever light passed through it, and violet eyes that sparkled with life.

"Finally, some fun this time."

The five of them stood in front of the registration table, where the union official waited for them in confusion.

Their mission was SSS-ranked, which was unprecedented.

But what no one knew yet was that this moment was not the first for them...
