only the power that came from it.
That's why, in this world, it wasn't uncommon to find multiple people with the same Devil Fruit ability.
Rumor had it that if someone could fully master and develop their Devil Fruit power to the absolute limit,
they would then truly obtain that fruit's ability—
and from that moment on, no one else using the same power would be able to harm them with it.
