Chapter 1 - Rivalry and Betreyal

‎Chapter 1: Rivalry and Betrayal

‎Kirara's life was simple, but unbearably lonely. Every day was the same—school, then home. Her father, Heinrich, was always away, buried in his role as CEO of the world's leading robotics company. They built everything from AI-powered household helpers to construction machines and business support systems.

‎But none of that mattered to Kirara. All she had was an empty house, and a father who only visited two or three times a month.

‎Her classmates didn't hate her, but they avoided her. It wasn't because she was cold, nor because she didn't try to approach them. It was because no one wanted to stand next to someone they couldn't understand—someone who never talked about her past. Few knew she was the daughter of a powerful CEO, but even without that knowledge, her distance from them was enough.

‎One evening, during one of Heinrich's rare visits, he spoke while they sat at the dinner table.

‎"How's school? Have you made a friend yet?"

‎Kirara lowered her gaze, poking at her food. "..."

‎"I see." Heinrich's voice was quiet. "Just call me if anyone bullies you again."

‎That was when her frustration boiled over. She slammed her palms onto the table and stood up.

‎"Father, I don't want protection—I want a friend! A friend who doesn't see me as a competitor, who won't betray me!"

‎Her eyes blurred with tears as she ran from the table to her room. Heinrich could only sit in silence, guilt tightening in his chest.

‎Weeks later, at school, the teacher announced a group project. Kirara hesitated, then approached the top two students in her class.

‎But before she could even finish her request, Rei—the second-best student—cut her off.

‎"Have you lost your mind? We're competitors! You're already third in the class, and now you want to steal my position too?"

‎Kirara froze, then slowly lowered her hand. She forced a small smile and went to the teacher. "Can I do the project alone?"

‎The teacher, though reluctant, nodded.

‎When the results were announced, Kirara had earned the highest score among solo projects—right behind the top two groups.

‎Rei clenched his fists under the desk, his envy twisting into hatred.

‎Months passed. The graduation ceremony approached.

‎At dinner the night before, Heinrich surprised her with a rare softness in his voice.

‎"Kira, I have a gift for you. But you'll receive it only after graduation. I promise I'll be there this time."

‎Kirara's heart wavered. His promises often broke, but this time… maybe.

‎The day of graduation came and went. The seats filled with parents, the air heavy with celebration. But Heinrich never appeared.

‎As Kirara stepped off the stage, her lips trembled.

‎"His promises are always lies."

‎A tear slipped down her cheek.

‎That night, screams and fire tore through Heinrich's company headquarters. Blood stained the hallways. Bodies were piled like discarded dolls. No survivors.

‎The CEO, Heinrich, had vanished. Sensitive company files were stolen.

‎Kirara, after learning what happened rushed to the scene, only to be stopped at the barricades. "Where is Heinrich? Where is my father?!" she cried, but the officers had no answers. The company closed indefinitely under investigation.

‎Weeks later, a boy approached her.

‎"I'm Yao Chen. We were classmates once, remember?"

‎Kirara blinked, struggling to recall, but forced a polite nod. "Ah… right. It's been a while."

‎Days passed, and they grew closer. For the first time in years, Kirara felt like she might have found a friend.

‎But one evening at a restaurant, Yao Chen leaned forward.

‎"So… about the investigation on Heinrich's company…"

‎Kirara froze. "Why are you asking me that?"

‎"Aren't you his daughter?"

‎Her blood ran cold. She stood abruptly, muttered a quick apology, and left.

‎The next day at the park, a stranger in a strange outfit ran up to her, whispering urgently:

‎"That man—leave him. He's using you. He plans to take your company once it reopens."

‎Before Kirara could respond, the girl vanished.

‎Kirara clenched her fists, anger and confusion boiling. As she cursed the stranger, her phone rang—Yao Chen, asking to meet.

‎But when Kirara arrived, everything went black.

‎She awoke bound to a chair. Around her, several men lay dead. Yao Chen was pinned to the wall by the very same strange girl who had warned her earlier.

‎When she noticed kirara, the girl freed her from bindings. "Stay quiet. I'll handle this."

‎By the time the police arrived, Yao Chen's allies were arrested.

‎Kirara returned home, her heart hollow.

‎Why can't anyone just be my friend? Why am I always alone?

‎Her cries continues till the next day.

‎That morning the doorbell rang.

‎She wiped her eyes and answered.

‎"Yahoo~! Delivery arrived, signed by your father, Heinrich. From today onward, I'll be in your care!"

‎Kirara froze. The girl from before stood there, smiling brightly.

‎"Y-you… what are you saying? How do you know my father?"

‎The girl stepped inside casually.

‎"My name is Heiyuza. I was created by Heinrich, using human genes and a crystal from beyond the stars. My mission is to stay by your side until the end."

‎Kirara's voice trembled. "Created… by my father…?"

‎But when she saw the girl's gentle smile, something inside her broke. For the first time in years, she wasn't alone.
