After his battle with the Shadow Dragons, Goku bid farewell to his friends and departed from Earth on the back of Shenron.

"Shenron, where are we going?"

Lying comfortably on Shenron's back with his hands behind his head, Goku asked casually.

Shenron was silent for a moment before his deep voice rumbled, "Goku, in recognition of your contribution to the world, you have been given an opportunity to travel to other worlds. Would you be interested?"

"Other worlds? To travel?"

Goku blinked his eyes and then asked, "Are there strong opponents I can fight?"

This time, Shenron's silence lasted even longer.

"I'm sorry, Goku, but I do not know if the world you are heading to has anyone as powerful as you."

"However, I do know that these worlds possess their own unique systems of training and methods of combat. I am sure you will find them to be a refreshing experience."

"Is that so?"

Upon hearing this, a wide, good-natured grin spread across Goku's face.

"That sounds really interesting. Shenron, please send me there."

.......

--The World of Naruto, Konoha Year 62--

Kakashi and his Team 7 had just entered the Land of Waves, escorting the bridge builder Tazuna to his home.

"Over here!"

"No, over here!"

Naruto, like an energetic rabbit, leaped into the bushes on the left one moment, then threw a kunai at a large tree on the right the next.

"Hey, Naruto, don't just throw your kunai around. It's dangerous," Kakashi said with a half-lidded, exasperated expression.

Nearby, Sasuke watched the scene unfold with a blank face, saying nothing.

Sakura, however, was losing her patience. "What are you doing, Naruto! There's nothing there!"

"Ahem, let me look again. I'm sure I saw something just now."

Naruto coughed a few times to cover his embarrassment before striding forward once more.

After Tazuna had revealed the full story, they realized this was no longer a simple C-rank mission, but a more dangerous B-rank one.

On this mission, they would face attacks from enemy ninja and encounter unknown dangers.

They had already survived one such encounter, and Naruto was deeply dissatisfied with his own performance.

As a result, he was now desperate to find the next enemy to prove his abilities.

"Hmph! I'm not giving up until I find someone!" Naruto muttered to himself, his feet never stopping as he scanned his surroundings.

Thud!

Suddenly, he felt as if he had run into a solid wall and fell to the ground with a yelp.

"Ouch!"

He rubbed his head, completely bewildered. He hadn't strayed from the path, so how could he have bumped into something in the middle of the road?

Before he could look up to see what was in front of him, two figures instantly appeared by his side.

One of them grabbed him by the collar and tossed him backward.

"Whoa!"

After flailing for a moment, he landed hard on his rear.

"What are you guys doing?!"

The instant he was thrown, he recognized the two figures as his teacher, Kakashi, and Sasuke. A surge of anger rose within him, but it vanished just as quickly.

This was because, right where he had fallen, a strange man had appeared.

The man had a peculiar appearance, wearing an orange uniform the likes of which Naruto had never seen, and his spiky, untamed hairstyle was equally foreign.

At that moment, the man was looking at him with a simple-minded smile, scratching his head apologetically.

"Sorry, sorry about that! I didn't mean to bump into you."

He was, of course, Son Goku, sent by Shenron on a journey to another world.

After restoring him to his adult body and changing his clothes at his request, Shenron transported him to this world. He had arrived right in front of Naruto.

Still a bit dizzy from the teleportation, he hadn't had time to react, and the constantly moving Naruto had run straight into his nigh-indestructible, battle-hardened body.

"Who are you?"

Kakashi's expression was grave as he stared at the newcomer.

The man had appeared so suddenly and with such speed that even he hadn't been able to see him clearly, setting off alarm bells in his mind.

'Judging by his attire, he doesn't look like a ninja. A samurai? No, not that either.'

'Then who is he? Is he here to assassinate Tazuna?'

As a hundred possibilities raced through his mind, he tightened his grip on his kunai. Just then, he heard the man laugh heartily.

"My name is Son Goku!"

Son Goku? Upon hearing the name, everyone searched their memories but found no recollection of it.

"Hey! Son Goku, right? I forgive you!"

Naruto scrambled up from the ground, patting the dust off his pants with a loud laugh, seemingly unconcerned by Goku's sudden appearance.

"Hey, hey! He could be here to kill Mr. Tazuna," Sakura whispered from nearby, her brow furrowed with worry as she shielded the bridge builder.

"Huh? Really? In that case, I can't forgive him!" Naruto's cheerful expression vanished in an instant. He whipped out a kunai and dropped into a defensive stance.

Since he wasn't far away, Goku overheard their conversation and raised his hands in a gesture of peace.

"Haha, I think there might be a misunderstanding."

He then scratched his head, looking a little troubled.

Standing before him, Kakashi could clearly sense the goodwill radiating from Goku. He slowly lowered his kunai and motioned for Sasuke to do the same.

But in the next instant, he saw Goku's expression turn serious, and the sense of relief he had just felt vanished. He immediately understood the reason for Goku's change in demeanor.

With a sudden whoosh, a massive sword came spinning out of the forest, aimed directly at Naruto, Sakura, and Tazuna.

"Look out! Get down!" Kakashi's face paled as he yelled at his students.

Sakura, who had remained vigilant, reacted instantly to Kakashi's shout, tackling a bewildered Tazuna to the ground without a second thought.

Naruto, however, had relaxed his guard after sensing Goku's friendly nature and seeing Kakashi lower his weapon.

His reaction was a beat too slow. By the time he realized he needed to duck, the massive blade was already whistling towards him, about to slice him in two.

"Naruto!"

Kakashi's eyes widened in horror, but he was too far away to intervene in time.

The same was true for Sasuke; watching the person he disliked most about to be killed, he felt not a shred of satisfaction, only a profound sense of fear.

CLANG!

At that critical moment, a figure appeared in front of Naruto and casually slapped the giant sword, sending it flying.

'I'm... alive?'

Frozen stiff by the near-death experience, Naruto stared blankly at the figure before him.

The one who had saved him was none other than Goku, the man they had just met!

After knocking the sword away, the cheerful, easygoing smile returned to Goku's face.

"Are you okay?"

Hearing the genuine concern in his voice, Naruto snapped back to his senses, a warmth spreading through his chest.

"I-I'm fine."

Whoosh!

Arriving a moment too late, Kakashi looked at Goku with a solemn expression. "Thank you for saving Naruto."

He was still reeling with fear. It wasn't just about the Third Hokage's order to look after Naruto.

Naruto was his student, and he would never want any harm to come to him.

After expressing his gratitude, he turned his serious gaze in the direction from which the greatsword had come.

If he wasn't mistaken, that sword was one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's blades: the Executioner's Blade.

And its wielder was the rogue ninja from the Hidden Mist Village—

Zabuza Momochi, the Demon of the Hidden Mist!

A few seconds later, a slender figure emerged from the trees, carrying the ridiculously large sword on his shoulder.

His sinister gaze fell upon Goku as he spoke in a cold voice, "You bastard. How dare you interfere with my business!"
